After a few years I needed new orthotics and local podiatrist had retired so went to a prosthetist as close to me and she tried twice but couldn't get right fit. I then went to another podiatrist a distance from my home. He tried twice and couldn't get right fit, as in I was having pain from them. FINALLY I found Dr. Stateva, a 2 1/2 hr. drive from home, who got orthotics PERFECT the first time. Her knowledge and skill were very evident. Her calm and gentle manner really helped me and I felt so grateful to have her as my Doctor. I now feel so comfortable when going to see her and trust her completely which is rare.

Not only did the Doctor get me in immediately, she pushed the hospital to get me in for blood work and an MRI that same day. She performed a procedure to open my foot, cleaned my wound, dressed it, and got me referred to a wound center for follow up. It was nearly painless and she was friendly, professional and gentle. I was so impressed with her, that I decided to begin scheduling a regular checkup for my feet. But to top off an already great experience, the Doctor had a "stat/rush" put on my MRI (which the hospital said would take several days) and called me personally at home that evening to let me know I would not need an amputation. She said she didn't want me to worry over the weekend. Again, this pushed Dr. Stateva even further toward the 5-Star review that I am giving her. To be honest, I can't think of anything that would have made my visit better -- we'll, maybe a tray of chocolates and an open bar. :)

I was called a few days later, and they were able to get me in on my lunch hour a few days later. Everyone in the office was friendly and accommodating. Dr. Cosenza came in on time, didn't keep me waiting was Super Friendly and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain everything in detail!!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cosenza for any Podiatry issues you may have. He is one of the best Doctors that I have ever been too!!! Highly recommend Friendly Knowledgeable and accommodating!!

Dr. Kreger treated me for a serious toe fungus infection. It was a poor outcome that could have…read morebeen avoided with better care and attention. He removed three toenails. After the surgery, his assistant put dressings on the wounds so sloppy that I had to return in several days to have my toes anesthesized so he could remove the bandages. He prescribed some meds for me that he shouldn't have, because of conflicts with other meds I take. He wasn't paying attention. One of the toenails grew back as an ingrown toenail, and another one grew back and the fungus returned. My impression was that his business came first, and his patients second. He runs his office like an assembly line.
