Dr. Jeannie Pflum saved my daughters life (and probably mine)…read more I had no idea I was in labor, as it was still quite early. But my water suddenly broke, and I rushed to the bathroom. I was horrified to discover it was blood, and immediately got into the car with my husband and rushed to Sutter hospital. I knew something was very wrong, and I was terrified. Dr. Pflum rushed into the hospital (it was her day off). Everyone knew the severity of the situation, and I knew in my heart I needed an emergency cesarean right then, right there. I had a placenta abruption, and there was no time. All she could do was to look deeply into my eyes, hold my hand, and tell me it was going to be ok. This was an extremely rare situation where timing was of the essence. Usually this is something you talk about and discuss. But had she waited any longer my daughter would not have survived. It turned out to be a matter of seconds. She (and her staff) saved her in the knick of time! This was nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Jeannie! We love you.

I had my son in the St.Helena hospital and I have only gratitude for everybody there. Dr.Sue Turner, Dr.Kirk , Dr. Candice and Dr. Henry are all amazing and wonderful. They are very knowledgeable. All the doctors and nurses were very professional, caring. I received excellent prenatal care and I had a wonderful delivery experience. I do not think I could have asked for better.
