What bothered me most was the perfunctory and insincere apology from someone who didn't introduce themselves or explain who they were. I was handled. Ticked off the person's to-do list. They're busy, I get it. Its a hospital, and they've got sick people to care for. But it wouldn't have taken much to show some care or respect and keep me from going next to a private radiology center for my MRI. Without a lot of imagination, some token gesture would have been appreciated. Its a small community and things are personal here.

Was told that the do not take Aetna, but did take Medicare. I made the appointment and drove 1.5 hours to the appointment from Mendocino. Upon arrival, I gave my insurance cards to the receptionist and within 5 minutes was told that they do not take Aetna. I told them, I understand and was told that they took Medicare, hence I made an appointment. Now I'm. Wong told that they will not take the insurance and I will have to pay out of pocket which could be anywhere from 150-450 for the visit I'm on a fixed income and on social security, don't have that kind of money to just pay out of pocket not to mention the smug attitude towards me. Needless to say, I left in tears. I have a serious condition leading to possible sepsis on my skin and needed evaluation immediately. I went back to my ENT for treatment of antibiotics. Here is the deal, the front desk is a very important aspect of any business. Because of their attitude towards me and false information given by phone, I will never recommend this office to anyone, regardless of the doctors abilities!!
