Started out great with reasonable prices & efficiency, but as of Summer 2026:…read more* Difficult & inconsistent communication. * September 2026 offered an electronics pick-up; even after confirming, pick-up was missed for numerous customers so they offered another electronics pick-up, with confirmation and an actual scheduled date/time, but pick-up was missed AGAIN except this time NO follow-up communication whatsoever. * Then residential trash & recycling services were ABRUPTLY discontinued on October 1, 2026, forcing customers to scramble finding new service set-ups with other haulers. While Property Solutions & Junk Removal LLC initially stated they would still come by to pick-up their totes (& forgotten electronics), they still have not done so as of late October 2026. * Also when they announced their abrupt ending of residential services, they promised those of us who had taken advantage of their annual pre-pay incentive (at the beginning of 2026) that they would reimburse us for the remaining months, yet have NOT done so. (In my case they owe me five months: October, November, December 2026 & January, February 2027.) * After numerous attempts to reach out to them on all available platforms, still NO communication, NO already-scheduled-&-confirmed electronics pick-up, NO tote removals & NO reimbursement. * Numerous customers are now taking them to court. * As such, I do NOT recommend Property Solutions & Junk Removal LLC out of Congerville (formerly East Peoria).

I called and spoke to Robert who told me our crew was in Springfield and would be heading our way after they were done unloading. As the day unfolded the time tentatively changed to 1-2pm. I called a few more times in the afternoon and no one answered. I later got a text from Robert that stated "Let give them a call now sorry I have no service ". I never heard back until several hours later in the late afternoon. I received this text from Robert "We are truly sorry our guys can't make it to you on time today we was running behind and I was currently on the plane with no service. I can refund you your $20 to Venmo on Monday morning I can send it to your Apple Pay right now whichever one works best for you once again we are truly sorry!! " I requested a $20 deposit refund by Venmo on Monday morning. We never received a refund for the deposit. Unfortunately, we would not be able to recommend this company. Our experience was not good.

I would say the price is definitely expensive but they wrapped all my furniture with blankets then topped it with actual furniture wrap. Loaded and unloaded the truck in a very organized manner. And they drove from point A (NJ) to point B (IL), mind you that's a 14 hour commute, in one day (they stopped to sleep for the night). It was really a flawless experience. We chose the expedited option for our move so that's also why it was more expensive and what we were quoted didn't change at all because of the move option we chose. I would definitely feel comfortable moving with this company again! No complaints here!

Disappointing Experience with Peoria Team, Madison Team Was Great…read more I recently moved from Peoria, IL to Madison, WI on Monday, 2/2/26 using Two Men and a Truck, and unfortunately the experience was very mixed. The Peoria team was a major letdown. They arrived late and did not provide the level of service that was agreed upon. Several pieces of furniture -- some over 40 years old -- were supposed to be properly wrapped and protected, and that simply did not happen. As a result, multiple items were damaged. When the Madison movers unloaded the truck, they immediately noted that the truck had not been loaded correctly, which they confirmed likely caused the damage. In contrast to Peoria, the Madison crew was professional, careful, and communicative. One especially concerning issue: an open knife was left on top of a couch inside the truck. Had the Madison movers not noticed it in time, someone could have been seriously injured. This shows a serious lack of care and safety awareness by the Peoria team. I've been trying to resolve these issues with the Peoria home office, but responses have been slow and unhelpful so far, which has only added to the frustration. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend using another service, or at the very least avoiding the Peoria location. The Madison team did their best to fix a bad situation, but the damage was already done.

The Sperry Resole Package was $90, and the cost of a new pair of the Gold Cup model on the Sperry website, as of August 2026, is close to $200, so I think $90 per pair is a really good value. I highly recommend Fred's for your shoe repair needs.

Got my Iron Rangers resoled at Fred's. Stitching is crooked on the right boot. Response from Fred's…read morewas the stitching will be strong and not impact durability. OK, but not thrilled since it looks bad. I do't wear these boots too often since I have several pairs. i just noticed they also scraped the leather with the stitcher on the same boot. The leather is actually a little thinner now in this spot. The scrape runs parallel to the welt in an area where normal wear would not cause the scrape. In addition, the scrape shows up in a picture I took immediately after the resole. It appears they covered up the scrape with brown polish or another shoe product. They did not mention any of the issues when the boots were picked up by a family member that lives near Peoria. Do not recommend, and I will not use them again.

I was not able to pack, and their packing service was perfect. None of my items were broken during transit and she taught me how to be thoughtful about packing in the future. I thought I'd be on the phone all night directing folks, but instead, it took under two hours door to door from Urbana to Savoy for several large, awkward pieces of furniture like a bed with ... spires? poles?... and a big old reclining couch that had to be super heavy. I can't thank them enough!
