I was looking for a bookstore in my area and came across Steamy Lit Bookstore. My GPS brought me right to the location, but the signage is pretty minimal and a bit hard to spot from the street, so keep an eye out. There is plenty of parking available both in front of and on the side of the building, which made things easy. Once inside, the salesclerk was very helpful and gave me a quick lay of the land. The store has a wide variety of diverse books, and everything is organized in a way that makes browsing by genre simple. Beyond books, they also carry cute apparel, stickers, and bookmarks, which added a fun touch to the shopping experience. Overall, a great local find that I'd visit again.

Whether it's a solo trip for a quick purchase or a meeting spot for a quick bite and leisurely stroll, they have everything you need and can cater to any in search of some good books without the secondhand hassle. The open courtyard at the entrance has a bar offering light lobster options and wine. The floor plan has a winding maze-like layout making your browsing experience much more interesting. They also host book signing events with local authors so checking their social media pages is a good way to sneak peak what's in store. They have something for every reader and even plenty of independent and local newspapers. The staff is very helpful and they're quick to help you find whatever material you're searching for. The prices are reasonable and there's plenty of categories to choose from. It's perfect to come here when you want a chill activity without the hustle and bustle. There are deals on the wine bottles during the week so check their calendar. I recommend this place over the conglomerate booksellers because they really support local business owners and their prices are extremely attractive for the range they offer.

I wish I had more time to explore. Parking areas were everywhere but it took a little bit to find close by street parking outside of the garage. Great space and event.

Focused on artisanal goods, this bookstore brings the imagination to life throughout its aisles adorned with jams, handmade jewelry, accessories, floral arrangements, art and so much more. Plus, everything is locally-sourced and supports our community. It's a collective artistic vibe that sets this place apart from the rest. Every item sold here comes with a backstory and really brings out the raw talent our community has. There's nothing like it in the area which is why I recommend paying them a visit. It seems like the whole strip of this center has something cool to offer. The business next door is Nerdvana which is the perfect extension of this spot offering rare collectibles of noteworthy comics and figurines for the 80's kid on your shopping list. The best part of Booktanica is the passion behind the project. Visions like these often get dulled out and rarely come to life. It's nice to see such intricate expertise come together to bring this quaint boutique to fruition so effortlessly. I promise every corner has something worth your time. Where to begin…read more.. Let's just say that I was very surprised to see a bookstore that had slipped under my nose. I am a book lover hence I love to visit bookstores, and being lucky (more like blessed) to speak more than one language, I have access to many more authors, and bookstores, than the general public. This bookstore is in The City of Sweetwater, so I was expecting a good supply of books in Spanish. Also, the name Agni gave me a clue as to the type of books available here, as Agni may seemingly be short for Agnosticism or may relate to the Hindu God Agni, maybe even Agni Yoga. In any case, it all spelled New Age & Metaphysics to me. A quick internet search proved me right. Agni Corner's website is in Spanish, and most books advertised are books in Spanish about spirituality. Agni Corner Bookstore is not a big shop, it is a small bookstore. Yet, for being a small bookstore, it has the best collection of New Age books I have seen in Florida. And, what makes this place even better, they are well supplied with books in English too. So this is the true bilingual shop! This is how the shop is set up. To the right, all the Spanish book, and to the left, all the English books. From the entrance to the end of the store walls, books are arranged in the following order. Spanish Left: current event and new books, Hindu/Indian books with a collection of books from Sai Baba, Saint Germain books and theology, angels and archangels, Jesus Christ and Catholic Church saints, and then miscellaneous books about theology, philosophy, occultism, astrology, as well as books from Kryon, UFO conspiracy, etc. The English wall: Astrology, angels and archangels, UFO conspiracy, philosophy, Hindu/Indian books. I am obviously omitting subjects but I can't remember everything, so, my bad. Throughout the store there are also displays, some with Mandala coloring books, cosmology books, astrology, etc., and lots of decks of cards. Among the decks of cards you can find Tarot cards as well as inspirational cards and also oracle cards. And in one corner, next to the front door, lots of CD's. And of course, what would be a metaphysical bookstore without incense or gems and stones and crystals. All of these are available, plus lots of decorations and statuettes, as well as banners and things. The coolest thing though, is that not only are there lots and lots of books here, but the majority of the books are good books. I am not talking about the books that they give you at the Krishna temple for free, or at the airport for a donation, no, these are books that will help you grow spiritually, if you are looking to grow in that way, of course. The owner of the shop is here most of the time. She speaks Spanish and English, but she will mostly hand you a book in Spanish. I guess that is her strength. As most people in Miami, we have family that speaks mostly Spanish, so this bookstore is a good place to bring them if you are looking for New Age books. If you read Spanish, this is a gold mine, since some of the books here are currently out of print. And if you only read English and live in the area, this is a good source of knowledge too. Finally, this bookstore offers some classes and services, but they are more of a word of mouth kind of thing. You will understand what I mean if you come by. And the very last thing. If you come here and nothing makes sense, you are not ready for this. No shame in that. Take time to learn about the many Spiritual Masters and their teachings, and then come back. After all, time is just an illusion. By the way, I came here looking for books from Ruben Jungbluth, a very famous Peruvian astrologer. And they had his books. Now, please repeat after me: Ommmmm....
