You don't need to know how to pose or what to wear. That's my job. Your only job is to show up.
I'm Allan Pickering, a Fort Worth photographer who shoots boudoir and nothing else for women across the DFW Metroplex. The Association of International Boudoir Photographers has selected my work for Best of Boudoir three years running.
I arrange professional hair and makeup for you. We choose your outfits together beforehand. I demonstrate every pose myself. You copy me. If your hair or outfit needs adjusting, my assistant does it, not me, and only when you say yes. She stays through the whole session. Bring a friend if you want the company.

History
Established in 2022.
I was the shy, awkward kid. Bullied daily. I walked with my eyes on my feet and doubted my own worth well into adulthood.
That shifted in my thirties, after I met my wife. Arriving at self-confidence that late means you don't take it for granted, because you remember the years without it. Confidence changed my life. I wanted to be able to hand that to someone else.
So in 2020 I picked up a camera. I have photographed boudoir ever since, and only boudoir. The best compliment has been, "I can't believe that's me!"
The Association of International Boudoir Photographers has selected my work for Best of Boudoir in 2023, 2024, and 2025. I'm a member of Professional Photographers of America.

Meet the Business Owner: Allan P.
I'm in my fifties, married to a scuba diver, and outranked at home by three cats.
My most prized possession is the LEGO Millennium Falcon. I have a geography degree I can trace directly to reading Tolkien, and I'll explain how if you ask. There's almost always a Diet Coke near me, usually one I've set down and lost. I once had to reshoot an image because I found one in the frame.
On shoot day, I demonstrate every pose myself before you try it. I'd rather go first. That way you're never asked to do something you haven't already seen and been walked through. I also don't look great in poses, so the awkward part of the day belongs to me.
I never get tired of the Reveal Session, when you see your images for the first time. Almost everyone exclaims a version of the same thing: "wait, that's me?"
