Mrs. Krofts is so amazing. Our daughter is more confident and excited to learn than ever. The Principal stands at the entrance to greet the students in the mornings, my daughter always runs up to him to give him a hug. We've had a great experience so far. I 100% recommend the TK program if you have a kid of age. They also have a good 'Home room' program that stays open till 6pm, it's convenient and relatively cheap. Most other schools in the area offer programs that close at 5pm which is not as convenient for working parents.

This school was pretty much perfect for her - you could work off the tuition as a parent by working hours with the school and my siblings and I were able to have a relatively low teacher-student ratio which is pretty much impossible in public schools. The best thing about this school, for parents, is that they become a part of the school experience for the kids. My experience here was definitely unique. My fondest memory of this school was actually before I started school at St. Patrick's. I was just dropping in for a day in first grade to see if I would want to switch to this school the next academic year and that was one of the best experiences of my life. I made so many friends that day and when I left to go home, I remember those other first graders that one day just telling me, "I can't wait to see you next year!" Needless to say, I went home to tell my mom, "I want to go to St. Patrick's!" Maybe my nostalgia is fogging my memory a bit, but I had a pretty fun experience with this school. I won't lie and say I had the best or the worst teachers. I didn't have a perfect education, but who does? At the last minute they pulled the rug from under our feet and put us on a waitlist. They kept on leading us to believe that our child's admission was pretty much done. I interacted with multiple folks in their office but later realized they enrolled more number of students than what they can actually intake and then they put you on a waitlist. They do a decent job of selling their institution. Well it was an unpleasant learning experience for us as they did not make it transparent! Anyways we were unceremoniously added to a waitlist. After a few weeks they emailed us that a spot had opened up. I enrolled my child as I was still interested. Within 2 weeks of enrolling we found that their after school person does not work collaboratively with parents or maybe works selectively with some parents based on her liking them or not. We requested a couple of small requests related to how much time she shows movies for kids in the aftercare. She works with an attitude of "my way or the highway!" In other words large part of the after school care is spent every day in movies - maybe 60 mins or maybe 90 mins! We do not know why the school does not hire a more energetic person to lead the after care program who is interested in providing kids more activities and NOT JUST MOVIES! If you want an environment that does NOT support your child's growth through the day in the school where they spend most of their day then this is the place for you! We withdrew our child and went elsewhere. The principal who joined in 2025 summer, is very approachable/ pleasant/ positive person and a solution finder but in this case she was not able to help us either!

Her grade was not good, school did not helping, told to get tutor outside. The teacher called to send her home at 11:00 am without letting her to stay and learn performance from other kids. Teacher said no need, " I will send you the video of others", but, I had not received any video. This is called discrimination or what? Why she not allow her to stay and learn. And that was it, I changed school. This school I had to pay money, returned nothing. My daughter had much help and improvement when she went to Rocketship. They can provide one on one help, later group help. They use different method somehow my daughter grade went up, no more plugging hair, no more stressing movement. She is fine now with As abd Bs. Again, this school is not for slow students, they don't have patience to deal with them. Period.

Don't drop your kids off too early or too late! There's a time for when they can play on campus and when they will be waiting for the time to play on campus. I did have one bad experience a few years back, there when it was my nephew that was about to attend kindergarten, my cousin asked me to drive her there, so I did. The STAFF parking lot sign wasn't very large, nor was the spray painted sign on the ground large enough either. A lady approached me, I was sitting in the driver's seat, and asked "will you be leaving anytime soon?" I answered honestly "I don't know, my cousin is trying to register her son" the lady left in a huff saying "well, I am parking my car behind you if you don't know how long it'll be", needless to say, this school staff drives a burgandy SUV with a specialized license plate. My cousin came out a few minutes later and said "who parked their car behind you? " I wasn't paying attention at the time when the lady approached me I turned around and yup. Her car was parked right behind me so that I couldn't reverse out. My cousin went back into the office and the lady came out with her lecturing my cousin on that it's a staff parking lot. 1) This is our first time at this school, the staff sign for parking was very small and the fact that it's spray painted at very odd corners of the ground (now it's larger from what I saw when I picked my nephew up) This is also the first time at a school where I see there is no parking for the parents and it's in a crowded neighborhood including a park. I've moved around a lot in my childhood days, attended many schools and picked up lots of nephews and cousins from elementary school... seriously, no parent parking or visitor parking? 2) Lady, you could've asked me to move my car, being that I was just sitting in the car, it's not like I left the car to go to the office with my cousin. 3) It was very childlike to have you park your car like tha when in fact there were 2 other, yes that's right TWO other parking spot available. I don't know what kind of lesson you're trying to teach me, it's my first time at that school as well as my cousin, if my child and nephew are to attend there as their first time as well, I hope they are not treated that way nor taught to treat other's that way. ... Now that my child is attending school here, I know from experience a few years back where I can or cannot park. But I still see parents going in and parking inside...

I love both of their teachers and all the staff that I have come in contact with are all really friendly and nice. I've noticed that the Principal is very involved with the students and she is also very social and friendly to everyone whenever she is in passing with anyone. The school itself is nice, of course like every other parent that drops off and picks up their child here, would probably complain of the traffic but it's a school, of course it's gonna be busy around those times. Otherwise, my children are very happy with the school and so far, so am I!

I enrolled my son who is 8 and a inexperienced swimmer at the camp that was being promoted at his elementary school for both sessions. Next week is the last class for the swim camp. My son was so impressed with the campus and the manners of the high students/swim instructors that he shared a goal that he wants for himself. He told me that he would want to attend his high school years here at Valley Christian High School.
