This was not a good experience. We paid approximately $550 on a monthly, annual subscription with Stealth. Initially services started out well, and we were happy with the yard. When we hired Andrew and crew to do our play area, he had to extend it beyond what we had originally planned in the process. Part of the bid, was putting down weed barrier. My Husband discovered after they were done, that where he had to extend it, they didn't put weed barrier. We brought it up and the response was "you should've told me you wanted me to put it there. This is blame-shifting. The bid called for weed barrier to be put down first. If he had to extend it, then innately weed barrier should have been extended. I worked with a landscaper for many years: we would have simply done it; not expected the customer to 'catch it' and then ask us to do the job we were bid to do correctly. During the winter months, there were months they were not on the property to do any yard care. We have a larger property, but the actual area for mowing with a riding mower does not take them much time. We had the entire yard hydroseeded in the Fall, so there was not even mowing to be done! They could have shown to simply maintain the beds and help with managing all the leaves. There was blowing that could have been done, storm clean-up and even raking. After the weed barrier issue, and them not coming-out to fix it, we asked to end our subscription when it termed in March. It is now April. I went back through my Ring Camera, and not one time in February or March, did they show-up. Andrew had said the subscription is supposed to balance between Winter and Spring work levels. March is Spring! We had no lawn help, bed help or weeding for an entire Spring month. We have a massive amount of clean-up because nobody showed in the Winter when it's the windy season unless I asked them to come at least once, and that was after the Bomb Cyclone. The guy here was irritable. I don't think when you pay over $550 a month, asking your landscaper on a subscription to come help with the yard after a storm should be an issue!! We feel taken advantage of. I have asked them to try and make this right to some degree by taking care of May. We feel they did not show in March, out of anger we were ending our contract with them (paid through March), but that is petty and that is not how one does business. He said we were contracted through March. This is the first negative review of a company I have ever left on Yelp, I am that mad. I will also need to leave reviews in the community pages because I do not want people taken advantage of. All of our communications are documented on email, and text message. As a business they a) should have fixed the play area, b) should have shown-up at LEAST monthly in the Winter and Fall with leaves and wind, and they should have shown in March, Spring, regardless of whether we were continuing our subscription or not. We paid over $550 for that month for no work whatsoever. With four kids, and I own a business, we are extremely busy. We hired lawn care to help, and we paid more than we do with Stealth, than we do on my Husband's Snoqualmie home (that company does not service Maple Valley), and his landscaper showed-up all Winter, is consistent, and this was not ok. We wanted him to take care of our home here too, but as stated before they do not service Maple Valley. We have had that landscaper since 2016, and he has shown-up consistently. Stealth needs to treat their customers better than this. We paid out thousands. read more
