Teens work there. I didn't return for a second time or more due to filthy cups that had black smudges of something inside them. My relatives and I ordered at the drive thru. At the window I requested a cup of water then another when I noticed a black smudge on the inside. Eventually the employee at the window and I realized that all of the cups had the same defect. My relatives still visit to purchase from here but I refuse to return for bad services. The pictures of the food is deceiving; the food is much smaller in person. The burger patty is thin and the bun is larger than the meat patty. It's best, I think, to create your own meals. read more

This is my first and last time eating here. It's late, so I understand things being a little slow but there were only 3 people in the drive-thru line and I saw possibly 2 small groups inside when we drove around. Horrible service, food was wrong, they ran out of real strawberry, the Staff down to the manager had nasty attitudes. Didnt have napkins had to ask for some. Is it not enough that your burgers are paper thin? Now you have to cook them to a crisp as well? My 4 for $4 triple was literally crispy...the meat was crispy! Who does that? I tried to pay my $9 restaurant Bill what a $20 bill the cashier of told me that it was bad do I have anymore money I gave her a Nother $20 bill she said it was bad and I need to pay with a credit card I did and asked for my $40 back she said no it was counterfeit and she was going to keep it I told her to call the police she said no you don't want to do that if the police come they're going to arrest you for trying to pass counterfeit money I call the police anyway they came check the money and gave it back to me she said she made a mistake it was not counterfeit she was running a scam. Um, when I lived in Atlanta, I went through the drive-thru of this restaurant so I was surprised to discover there was waiter service inside. My coworkers and I stopped in to get a good shake fix. Yea, well, we waited about 15 minutes for our shakes and, as we consumed them, realized they were not worth the 15 minute wait nor the damn near $5 we paid for each one. Staff was decent. Went there se 12 on a Sunday. Only 3 people ahead of us In the line. The line did notice for 17 minutes. Seriously. I called in to see what was going on and the manager said there was some mix up with earlier orders and they were straightening it out. You could hear in in voice he couldn't care less. Everything was alright till the end. My food took forever to come out but my waitress was wonderful so I let it slide. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a side of onion rings. The fries were soft and cold but the onion rings and sandwich were pretty good. When it was time for me to pay for the food, I had to witness the cashier and manager arguing about what time the cashier was supposed to leave. I ordered two milkshakes to go at 4:07 PM and continued to listen to the manager and cashier go back and forth. Fast forward to 4:30 PM and I am still waiting on my shakes. Now at this point I'm mad....it shouldn't take that long to make two milkshakes. I go up to the cashier and ask for a refund and she asks me, "Are the milkshakes taking too long?" What do you think? I reply, "Yes, I can't wait any longer. I have somewhere to go".....She has the nerve to say to me "I understand. I was supposed to leave at 2 and I'm still here."....What?! So after she tried to get the manager for the refund, she tells me that the manager is about to start on the shakes now (23 minutes later). At this point I don't even want the shakes so I tell her to give me my money back anyway. The manager comes up to the register without acknowledging me, he didn't even look at me. He gave my "refund", said sorry, and walked away. I look down at the money he gave to me and realized that he only gave me a refund on one shake....I bought two. This steak n' shake has really disappointed my boyfriend and I. We love this fast food chain and don't have them where we live, so whenever we travel and we spot one, we stop! I ordered a peppermint chocolate chip milkshake and they gave me a mint chocolate cookies n'cream. Not a big deal, mix ups happen or maybe she didn't hear me right. But they ARGUED with my boyfriend about it, told me I was wrong and that they didn't serve that, and then made me the exact shake again. The shake is not only listed on their website, but it's also on the place mats at each table. At this point we're so exhausted from arguing that we just left. Worst experience ever! The diner was short staffed and they wanted to make sure everyone knew it. How you say, let me tell you! The lines were long, the wait was long (to order take out, to be seated, to get your food, to see your waitress, etc.), the tables stayed dirty, the bathrooms were filthy, and the management sucked! After watching our food sit, we asked the only other waitress in the restaurant to check on our food and instead she picked up her orders and the food we desperately hoped was not ours sat. I then asked one of the two managers in the store (Jeff) to check to see if it was our order and he politely asked me to wait. We then informed the other manager (Janice) that our waitress had disappeared and that we were saw food sitting in the window for 15 minutes. The food was indeed ours and the fries were indeed warm so I informed the manager that we would need some new fries. She told me her name and informed me that they were short, and that She was the manager and I needed to ask nicely. I could go on about our conversation but I won't. I have no idea how the food tasted because after waiting for such a long time and getting lectured by the manager, we decided to leave. I'll spend my money where it is appreciated! read more
