The location next to the airport is convenient even though we weren't flying. Access to I25 is less than a minute. We were greeted by the front desk staff and welcomed to Albuquerque. Check in was quick and efficient. Our room was clean and roomy enough for two plus our small furry friend. Yes it's dog friendly! The room included a stove top and full size fridge. Breakfast was dazzling: waffles, omelets, fresh fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs, link and patty sausage, soft drinks, juices and excellent coffee. The lady cooking and keeping up with the crowd did a fantastic job. The dining area was large and kept clean. There is a business center, ATM, free laundry (bring your own detergent pods) and a dog area. We up graded our lodging this year and don't regret it. Great hotel close to the Albuquerque airport. Short distance to Old Town and UNM which have great dining options. The hotel is recently renovated so everything looks new and modern. I booked a one-bedroom suite. It was smaller than other hotels I've stayed at but it was higher quality. The rooms have a kitchen, with appliances and cookware. They also provide a laundry basket and the washer/dryer is free. I brought my own laundry detergent and dryer sheets but the front desk sells that as well. There's a small shop with snacks and treats next to the front desk. Free breakfast buffet every morning with a wide variety of options. The main negative was that many of the staff don't speak English. When my stove wasn't working, they sent Housekeeping to my room and the man didn't speak a word of English, so that was frustrating. Another time, Housekeeping knocked on my door to tell me something, yet I couldn't understand her because she didn't speak English. Very frustrating. Also during breakfast, some of the breakfast items needed to be refilled and the staff were very slow to do so. So there was often a long wait to get eggs and the staff were nowhere to be found. read more

Great location with beautiful views! Waking up to a view of hot air balloons was quite a sight! Very easy to locate. Exceptional service. Room was very clean and you could tell staff was taking extra effort in sanitizing rooms and common spaces. Breakfast service was great, offering quick meal kits we could easily take in to our room. Sadly, we were not advised about having to make appointments for the pool, so we missed out. If I had any criticism it would be to have something posted at check in about making pool appointments. All around, one of our best stops in our cross country drive. We will definitely stay here again! read more

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites Airport in Albuquerque in April 2024. I had an early flight to catch on the return trip from visiting relatives. It was a very quiet, clean hotel. Jan 31, 2025 I had to unexpectedly fly back for a cousins health issue. I didn't want to impose on my cousins since they had a lot to deal with. I remembered the Staybridge Suites from last year. I booked a room for 5 nights. This time around I was able to enjoy their breakfast. I was very impressed with the delicious food they had. Not only did they have the usual cereal, hard boiled egg, bread for toast, bagels, coffee, tea, hot water, but cooked food in hot plates. The first morning was scrambled eggs, scrambled whites of eggs, bacon, chicken sausage, pinto beans, flour tortillas, strawberries, blueberries, yogurt, cottage cheese, salsa, apples, oatmeal, with toppings such as brown sugar, pecans,etc., and cookies for dessert. I left some out since I wasn't interested in some of the other food. The next morning was small cheese omelettes, pork sausage, chicken sausage patty, and more of which I don't remember. By 9:30 the kitchen staff would walk by to mention that the breakfast was ending, if you wanted to get more for breakfast. That first morning there were 2 kitchen staff women standing by the food. I told them that was the best breakfast I've had at a hotel. It turned out that one of the women was the chef. If I recall correctly her name was Claudia. I asked if she prepared all of the food. She said yes. She was very friendly, as was the other woman. I found that all of the staff were very friendly including the maintenance men. If you want a clean, and quiet hotel with a delicious breakfast, and friendly employees, this is the place to stay,!! Thank you for a nice stay. read more

Free laundry witch is the craziest thing I ever heard of. They sell laundry soap and dryer sheets. The snacks are very cheap and they have hot pockets, Philly cheese steaks and pizza. You can take it to your room and microwave it. The cleaning lady is always at your room at 9am great wake up call. I always tell her to come back in one hour. They clean the room daily that is very nice most hotels gave up on that. I can't wait to see the updated gym. I know the owner of this hotel is going to crush it. Stay here and be comfy! read more

The Good. -The bed and the room are both comfortable and clean. -They have Cheddar Sour Cream Ruffles at the front desk. -It's affordable. And breakfast is free. -We were in and out with no hassle at all. The Bad. -I couldn't figure out the air conditioning for a lot longer than I'd care to admit. In my defense, it shouldn't be covered in buttons that don't work if it's controlled by a thermostat located elsewhere in the room. The Ugly. -There's no place to eat breakfast where you can avoid listening to the TV blaring with Fox News talking heads. This is a nice affordable comfy place to stay. By no means is it luxury but it wasn't priced to be. For what you pay you get a very nice suite with full kitchenette and pull out sofa. For the most part it was clean. Had a little issue with the coffee maker. Housekeeping forgot to empty the last person's bag and was a little moldy. Yuk! Breakfast is your typical powder egg frozen food kind of breakfast. Not bad but if you're trying to eat healthy and like freshness this isn't for you. They do make a good effort to try. Coffee is decent (important to me) and staff if friendly and helpful. Close to airport and the shuttle is timely. read more

Worst experience with Staybridge Suites we've ever had. We paid for a king suite, walked into our room and it smells like food. We asked to move rooms and they give us a handicapped suite which was only better because it didn't reek of food. Go to take a shower, shower head falls down and hits my husband in the head. Go swimming, all the pool towels were soaked, had to go and ask for dry towels to be brought out. Next day go down for breakfast and there is next to no selection and they're serving enchiladas?!?! That is not a breakfast food and honestly I almost feel like one of the workers made them and brought them in to cut costs or something. The door wouldn't unlock with the key and lastly the maid asks us when we're checking out! Way to make your guests feel comfortable and not rushed. Overall very poor experience and they didn't do anything to rectify the situation. read more

Everything seemed fine at first. The staff was friendly, the room seemed nice and was fully equipped. However, I found not one, not two, but THREE long black hairs entwined with the bath towels. I tossed them aside, but I wish I had taken pictures. I was tired and just wanted a place to crash. Which comes to the next issue: when I pulled out the sofa bed IT WOULD NOT COME OUT ALL THE WAY. It got stuck on the "lip" of the TV stand. Scrapes on the stand indicated that other people found a way to make it work, but I couldn't. Had to sleep on the couch, which wouldn't have been so bad except I GOT BUG BITES ON MY ANKLES. I will never stay at this place again, and I would caution others from doing the same. read more

DONT STAY HERE. They ruined it by having deodorizer everywhere. What smells good to one person is offensive to another. It can be an irritant to some or allergic to others. We got a 2 room suite for a couple of nights. Rooms are pretty decent. They have roaming security in the parking lot. Water psi is ok in one bathroom and super low in the other. The hallway smells like rotten fish. The pool is closed which is one of the reasons we chose this place as we have kids with us. They told me one reason which was to treat the pool with chemical and told another guest something about low staff. I'm not sure but if it's not open by morning I guess we will pack up and head to another. For the price we are paying per night I would hope to get the amenities that are promised. Might throw an update tomorrow after breakfast and to see if the pool is open. read more

Okay first things first- Robert, behind the front desk is literally an angel, he worked so hard to make everything go smoothly and to find us a room that worked with our needs. Second off- this hotel is my favorite hotel I have ever stayed in, ever. Clean, friendly, amazing staff and so many resources... this doesn't just raise the bar for hotels, it revolutionizes hotel-ing. From free laundry machines, a great fitness room, to one of the best continental breakfasts I've ever had- next to their VERY reasonable price, you'd be crazy to try to stay anywhere else. We came in town, last minute, as a group of five(including a baby), for my sisters death. Robert gave us so much grace and love as we were like half crying at the desk, juggled around rooms (because they were nearly full) and provided a crib ASAP. This is an extended stay hotel, and now I know why! I never want to leave! They have free buffet dinners some nights, board games and movies to borrow, an amazing staff, very clean and updated facilities... SERIOUSLY, stay here. If you've read this far into my review, you obviously have to stay here! My ONLY slight complaint is that I had to clean down the crib after it was delivered, but they probably didn't get to deep-clean it before we needed it very well because we literally checked in and said, "can you bring us a crib ASAP?" LOL. But seriously, that's like no biggie, I am just a paranoid momma. Seriously, I WANT to come back to Albuquerque just so I can stay here again! Note: I've stayed here for a few months. These are the things I've seen and know. I've seen and been in a few of the hotels and this is one of the best in the area. Comparing the living arrangements of other people that I work with, they always get jealous of how much is offered here and how nice it is. Dinner is served Tues-Thurs, and it's done very well. Breakfast compared to other hotels I've been to before is actually half decent and there is fresh fruit served as others have stated. All of the staff, and I mean ALL of them, are very nice (unless maybe they're having a bad day?). I have had not one issue with any of the staff. The maids, the front desk, the maintenance, and the cook, are all awesome! The pool and the jacuzzi are kept as clean as possible. I see the maintenance down there doing an amazing job keeping it clean and serviceable. Right across the patio is two grills that are very easy to use and make for easy BBQ'ing. Now I will admit, the laundry room is hit or miss. But it is FREE and it does get the job done (smelling my clothes..... yeup, I think it gets the job done). The fitness room could have a little more in it. Maybe put a few different grips in there for the cable machine, that way it allows you to do a lot more in there despite the sparse equipment available; and it prevents me from using a towel as a rope grip. Treadmills do a decent to good job and there is also a bike with two elliptical's that could use some lovin. But despite all that, it's still a very functional gym and I've been able to stay fit. Oh! And almost forgot to mention they have a mini theater to the right of the lobby and you can barrow movies from them to watch. It's an all around great hotel and you won't go wrong staying here while in ABQ. read more

My wife went to check in, they claimed at the desk that they didn't have our contact number so they couldn't reAch us. They then proceeded to tell her that we didn't have a room and they booked us in an alternate hotel. One of the hotel employees then berates my wife about being upset with the change, stating that "it's only a few miles away." I absolutely will not be utilizing this chain again. Be warned that customer service is terrible. Update, upon arrival at the second hotel, my wife was told that they in fact did not have a reservation, and the staff from staybridge said to return so that they could "look around for a room" Terrible. read more

I want to give this place 5-stars, but a few things held it back. 1) We arrived a little early and were told they'd come get us in 20 minutes to check in. 30 minutes later I go back to the front desk and they started checking in four slow guests. And then another set of three guests. And then a current guest. Nearly an hour later, we were finally checked in. 2) Our daughter lives the pool, and we were in the pool every day. And even though it was nearly 90 degrees some days, they closed it on an 87 degree day even after we talked to the front desk about just leaving it open one more day since the cold spell was coming. Nope, we got back from a trip out and the whole pool area was winterized. 3) The DVD player in our room had no batteries, some parts of the room (like bathroom tile, grout, etc) needed repair. Nothing major, but detracted from the feel. The parking spots were oddly narrow, I should add. Otherwise, front desk was friendly, courtesy shuttle was convenient (and they were friendly, too), breakfast was great and complimentary, the workout room was large and their treadmills were actually decent. They also had the complimentary Tues-Thurs dinner social. Very convenient and decent food. It's only two miles from the airport, and yet air traffic noise wasn't much of an issue at all - and we had a 3 year old that needed to sleep! read more

There was poop of some species on my sheets, I called the front desk first thing in the morning when I got up to further inspect the sheet that was throw off in the middle of the night because it scratched my leg. They did come up to change the sheets when housekeeping came in, me and my kids had to leave the room for their staffs safely with no consideration for my children or mine. Spoke with the general manager who insisted she inspected the room herself, basically trying to say that I apparently put the poop on the sheet, that was dry and had to have been sitting for quite some time. At a stand still in this conversation I just had to end the conversation and she said she wished there was something she could do but since I booked third party... she couldn't. At this point they took the 500 out of my credit I did not have the luxury of going to another Hotel near by so I sucked it up paid full because I knew I would never stay at Staybridge Suites every again in my life time. Pray to God me and my children do to not get COVID 19 because of there improper sanitation skills. read more

Not sure how a company affords to offer a "house sized" suite for only about a hundred bucks, but if you throw in breakfast AND a midweek dinner, I'm all for it. My folks stay here multiple times a year and are always happy, both at this location and at the Alameda location. Breakfast is plentiful, coffee is always on, with a good selection of creamers (this is almost a deal breaker for me if it's lacking, haha), rooms are always clean and big enough for a 20 person gathering (seriously, they're huge!), and service has always been impeccable, with a smile and friendly greeting. I assume they are under the same ownership, so I'll list pros & cons on each location here: Airport: close to ABQ Int'l (duh), close to downtown. Cons: not much, never really notice the plane noise. Alameda: close to the foothills, close(r) to the westside and NE heights. cons: far from the airport? all in all, the best place to stay in Abq IMO, especially when the $$ factor is considered. read more

A note to those staying there, food is hard to come by in the vicinity, and the airport nearby isn't noisy but geez they don't make it easy to find your way around. This hotel is a gem! This is my favorite place to stay when I'm in the Albuquerque area. It is close to the airport and major freeways. Both the common areas of this hotel as well as the individual rooms are beautifully decorated and well maintained. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. Staybridge Suites has the look and feel of a 4 star hotel at 2 star prices. During my last visit we stayed in a 2 bedroom / 2 bath suite with a fully stocked kitchenette and comfortable living room with a couch and flat screen TV for $105 / night. The amenities and value of this hotel can't be beat. Staybridge Suites offers: Business Center and Wireless Internet Availalbe Fitness Center (plenty of machines available for use) Outdoor Pool Outdoor Jacuzzi Free Laundry (washer/dryer, bring detergent or buy it at the front desk) Free Breafast Daily Free Dinner on Tues, Wed and Thurs from 5:30pm-7:30pm One negative thing about this hotel is that it is very difficulty to locate. Even with the use of a GPS we had a hard time locating the hotel. One thing that makes this hotel easier to find is to know that it is the last hotel in a grouping of other hotels including Homewood Suites and Hyatt Place that can be seen from the main road. Also, be aware that on weekdays they offer regular housekeeping services, but on the weekends housekeeping must be specially requested. Overall this is a fantastic hotel. read more

The room was great they had JR Watkins complimentary toiletries. They had movies and board games down stairs and complimentary breakfast and occasional dinners. Tuesday-Thursday night dinners- salad bar-esque option plus a meat. Looked fresh and such a nice option to have. Shuttle is an excellent addition. Took it to UNM everyday and to old town. Called this place up after driving 12 hours and was pleased to learn they were pet friendly, very clean rooms, QUIET and super friendly front desk employees. The manager on duty gave me a doggy good bag and even gave my one year old an adorable stuffed lamb. Complimentary bottled water in the rooms and no weird smells or stains anywhere! read more

I just wanted to say that our stay here has been wonderful. It is so hard now a days to find a clean motel that allows pets. So many stick you in a "pet room" where your dog spends the entire time sniffing where other dogs have been. Here, he enjoyed running around the room and laying on the floor in the tile in the bathroom. Not sniffing everything and wanting to leave his own calling card. Little personal touches were awesome. A free candy bar and microwave popcorn, a laundry basket in the closet. A full pot coffee pot. Lemonade in the lobby. I could go on and on. We have a new favorite motel in Albuquerque when we're not in the RV. read more

This by far has been my worst hotel experience. I was here on business for three months. I was going to stay at this hotel the entire time but due to being taken advantage of i cut my stay short. I am a rewards member. I mostly stay at IHG hotels due to work and the extended time period of my assignments. On the one of the days while staying at the hotel, there was a hold on my credit card for 600$. Two days later there were two holds for 5,000$and 3,500$. This hotel literally maxed out my card. So I immediately called my bank. I talked to my bank and was told that there was no reason for them to place a hold let alone a large multiple amounts like that. They even stated that if they were charging for the whole stay they couldn't charge in advance. When I talked to the General Manager, Jason Giard he stated it was per policy. This I would have to disagree with because I have stayed at a ton of IHG hotels and have stayed longer than 30 days at the hotels and have never had anything like this happen to me before. He couldn't really give a reason as to why they were so many different amounts on several days. I told the manager to take my card off of record and I would deal with him in person as to swipe my card on a week to week basis. He agreed to these terms. I asked him to take off all of the holds on my account. I also told him that he couldn't charge in advance nor place holds on my card. Because I was alerted the following morning that they had tried to manually enter my card four different times for 87.00 which was declined. There were four different authorization codes where if any there should only be one. This hotel is doing some real shady stuff.. I moved out of the hotel later that day. As well as my other coworkers that was there for one day and had already had a 4,500 hold on her card. I went to check in a different hotel and to pay for one week and my card declined. This hotel really inconvenienced me. I am thankful that an emergency did not occur. This hotel has missed out on all of my future business. I will make sure that I spread the word to all my coworkers to not do business at this hotel because they will try to rip you off. Excellent hotel! It is conveniently located, spacious rooms, well kept, and the staff here are wonderful. They have social night Mon-Wed and they serve dinner. Their pool and spa are well maintained and they just bought new pool furniture. The even have a small putt putt area :) We stayed here close to a month and it was great! We arrived late at night and the front desk attendant (Joe) if that's his real name was rude and sarcastic while checking us in as if we were an inconvenience to him. Anyway we should have known that wasn't going to be the last of our very negative experience here. We were tired and decided to let the incident go. We got up early the next morning and went to check out. I spoke to the front office manager while my wife pour us coffee. I advised Mr. Robert Cdebaca we were checking out of room 319 and placed my room keys in their return basket. Before I walked away Mr. Cdebaca stopped me and asked me to give him my bank card again because he needed to charge me for my room. I told him I would have to check any charges currently pending because we had signed our payment agreement and ran our card the night before. I logged into my bank account and sure enough there was a charge for the room. Mr. Cdebaca became visibly upset and then said "so your not going to pay for your room!" You were coded as a no show and so you now need to pay for your room. I attempted to explain to him that the payment was already processed and that it had hit my account and I wasn't going to give him my card because I didn't want them to double charge me for something that I could clearly prove to him had already been paid. Mr. Cdebaca became more aggressive and loud, mind you this was in the middle of the breakfast rush and others in line behind us. He just kept saying that he was trying to collect payment and that if we weren't going to pay then that would be on us but that there was nothing showing on his end that we had shown up or even assigned room 319. I advised that what he was saying made absolutely no sense and just kept saying that it was on us if weren't going to pay for our stay. We are club members of Staybridge and we hadn't had any experience like this with them before. It was embarrassing to say the least and Mr. Cdebaca did not have the customer service skills or mindset to even try to understand that payment had already been made and approved. He kept being loud, condescending and accusatory. In the scenario why if we weren't going to satisfy our payment would I even talk to them and let them know we were checking out. Why if after the proof of payment was shown to Mr. Cedebaca did he not attempt to look further into the problem instead of accusing us in front of a lot of guests that we were refusing to pay for our stay. This was very unprofessional and a very disheartening experience. We will not be staying at this hotel anymore as long as Mr. Cdebaca is a so called front desk manager there. I am beyond upset and more disappointed at how we were treated and accused of basically stealing a room. If I could give this review 0 stars I would but that's not an option. read more

We only got to stay here for a week, in late August. We were only supposed to stay 2-3 nights, but the room was so nice, the staff was great, the food! Oh boy, free breakfasts! One morning I was a little late getting down for breakfast, and the lady working in the kitchen offered to fix me a plate to take back to my room. I'm sorry that I forgot her name, I had written it down and lost it. The breakfast area was always well stocked and very clean. One day they even served enchiladas with the breakfast, in addition to the more traditional eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, all kinds of vegetables, and fruits. This place is near the airport, easy access to Isleta Amphitheater (YAY Alice In Chains), and the interstates. The pool was clean and nice. We loved our room, had reserved one bedroom and they surprised us with upgrade to two bedrooms. As a long time platinum elite IHG customer, this was the first time this has ever happened! The breakfasts were great as well as the evening meals M-F. The rooms plus the common areas are clean and up kept. They even had Sunday football snacks to go with the nfl Sunday ticket! I stay here quite often for work and I'm always impressed. If you're looking for an extended stay hotel this is definitely one to check out. The rooms are spacious, and they include an almost-complete kitchen. There's a huge fridge, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and all of the kitchen accessories you'd need to make a decent meal for yourself. There is a little sitting area with a decent couch, a large desk with a comfy office chair and a big TV. They allow you to check out movies at the front desk for free and there are DVD players in the rooms. It's always nice to have control of what you want to relax and watch, instead of being forced through some reality garbage on the cable stations. There's a little table next to the kitchen that has teabags, coffee packs and microwave popcorn, all free for your enjoyment. The popcorn goes hand in hand with that TV/DVD combo! The beds are comfy and they give you four pillows, so you can pile them up however you like. The bathrooms are the type that have the shower and toilet in the little room, and the sink outside with a closet opposite. There seems to be plenty of room when getting ready in the morning. The towels are always clean and there are plenty of toiletries to use if you forgot your own. There is a free breakfast in the morning that consists of hot & cold items. They usually have little omelets, french toast, biscuits and gravy or something else along those lines. They have fresh fruit (a cut-up mixture of pineapples, oranges, grapes and melons) served cold. Yummy! There are yogurt cups, milk cartons (reg. and choco.) and hard-boiled eggs. There are also regular continental breakfast items, including muffins, bagels and english muffins. The guilty-pleasure waffle maker also makes an appearance here, as well as oatmeal, with all of the fixings to mix in. Lastly, they have a cereal dispenser and juice machines. It is a huge amount of food, and it's all included! They have a Tues-Thurs evening reception where they serve food, but I've never been there at the right time to experience it, so I can't say too much about it. As far as things to do in your spare time at the hotel, they have a few options to choose from. I usually opt for the exercise room. It is well-furnished for a smaller hotel. They have two or three treadmills, a recumbent bike and an elliptical machine. There is a full rack of dumbbells, from 3 to 50 lbs. They also have a big pulley machine with chin-up handles. There is a drinking fountain and little towels in the room, as well as a TV. The other option, which definitely looks cool, is the theater. In a separate room next to the dining area, they have a bunch of comfy chairs set up and a big TV, along with a surround sound system. They have blinds on the windows, so it can be darkened at any time of the day. It looks like it would be awfully cool to grab a movie from the front desk and kick back in one of those chairs. One of these days... As you can tell, there's alot to like about this place. I think they got an award from TripAdvisor for getting a consistently high rating. What a nice place! I will certainly look for other staybridge suites on future vacation plans! To start, we stayed 8 full nights here. Every nice was completely quiet and peaceful, no outside or inside "noise" I was a little skeptical due to the close location to the airport and highway, but really did not hear anything at all. The customer service was awesome! Every receptionist we dealt with was friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were perfectly clean every night by the hotel cleaning people, who were also extremely friendly. The people who cooked breakfast were fast and had a good variety of food. The gentleman that did the evening food, Jonny was very friendly and efficient with the food, it was pleasure speaking with him. The hotel rooms are very new, clean and well kept. The free WiFi worked extremely well. Sometime hotel wifi is a bit iffy, but this was great, we watched hulu almost every-night without a problem. You're only a couple minutes from the airport too. We did not use the shuttle but during our stay saw several people using it. We will purposely looked for this Hilton chain for future vacations! Thanks Staybridge Albuquerque for a great stay! While I've always been a Hilton guy, Staybridge has won me over in this realm of hotel. This location sets the bar for this brand. The rooms are crazy nice. My only complaint on this place is that the hallways and elevators lack cooling and you get quite hot getting in and out of your room, but that's minor. Great view of downtown ABQ, too. read more

Excellent accommodation! Check-in was smooth & staff very friendly. They offer a free dinner on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday, cookies in the evening & a free breakfast. The suite was spacious, spotless & smelled good. The bed was comfortable with nice pillows & bedding. I would absolutely stay here again. read more
