I called around to a couple of places to see how much it would cost to have the containers hauled to the scrap yard and really wasn't even given the time of day until I called Michael at Superior Container and Shed. He answered all of my questions and my multiple phone calls, offered to provide insurance if needed and was overall extremely professional and courteous. It took some scheduling based on my time constraints and he worked with me every step of the way, never seemly bothered at my chaotic schedule. I thought he was joking when he told me it would take him 2 hours to load the 7 containers, some were in very tight areas that would be hard to get a truck into. Everything went exactly as he said it would, he was right on time and he and his team worked like a well oiled machine. Pulling the containers out, loading them onto the trailer, as soon as one trailer was full another would pull in. They were done in an hour and half, loaded, strapped down and gone. I was blown away. I could not have been more impressed with the service, professionalism and integrity of Michael and his team. I cannot recommend him highly enough. If we every need another container he will be my first call, no question about that. UPDATE: We are now repaving our parking lot and wanted to move the 3 kept storage containers. Who did we call? Michael! He answered promptly and got us on the schedule. Arrived right on time and got them positioned within minutes. I felt bad because of how easy it was for him, it took him more time to unload his equipment than to move the actual containers. It's usually fine but I see people on other reviews have come in from far away without calling and it's just a good idea to call if it's a mom and pop nursery and you have a long drive. My favorite fruit was white sapote, cherimoya, the bazillions of types of guavas they have, ice cream bean was delicious, and I never knew palms have delicious fruit (what????). I come about twice a year from San Diego and as San Diego nurseries go, this place is in a league of its own. I even just like walking around in there to relax cause it's almost like a fruit botanical garden.
