We got the reserved the "bays first haircut"package, but it was extremely lackluster and we never even received the certificate that was supposed to be provided. I had to remind the stylist a couple times we had the package to get the locks of hair and the photo taken so by the end I was just ready to leave and didn't even ask them if they were going to print our certificate. Our stylist was extremely inexperienced and lacked any confidence. She didn't even introduce herself by her name, or say hi to my son before asking us to put him in the seat. I feel, at a kids' place, It's pretty standard to expect that employees would engage with the children to make them feel excited and comfortable. But there was none of that. I showed a picture and video and The stylist was literally asking me "like this?" With almost every snip until eventually I had to say, "I mean, you're the professional, so whatever you've got to cut so that he has that haircut is fine" Spoiler; he didn't end up with the haircut I wanted. The fade on the side is extremely choppy and the top is super uneven. We're seeing a good old fashioned barber today to fix it before his birthday party. What should've been a simple and fun experience was a total letdown and now we're paying $80 for a baby mullet with a fade... We still tipped her well because we're not jerks but we won't be back

I showed the hairdresser TWO pictures of what I wanted and my hair doesn't look like them AT ALL. On top of that, after growing my hair out for the past year, she chopped all of it off. When I sat in the chair I told her I only wanted TWO inches off at the most. The girl needs to learn how to measure because please tell me how my hair was at the middle of my back and now it's above my shoulders. On top of that, my bangs are uneven, the hair framing the sides of my face are two different lengths on each side and there is nothing I can do to save my hair. I'm not a hairdresser, but I'm sure when you're taking length off you don't have someone put their head down. That's not showing you where the hair will actually land when my head is up like a normal person. I have NEVER been so angry with my hair. Im okay with leaving 1 star because the manager did give me a refund. And I regret to say I did not get the name of my hairdresser, but I hope they teach her to replicate a photo shown, and how to measure. Shame on me I guess for needing a quick haircut instead of waiting for an ACTUAL stylist.

The barber didn't even bother to approach us, check us in, or communicate about the wait. He purposely double booked my son to be mean. It's frustrating, especially with a child, to be ignored like that. Basic customer service--like greeting customers and setting expectations--goes a long way.
