I went there for the first time with my two kids (6 & 10 yrs old). They loved the place as it is cozy, warm and comfortable. As per the hair cut, it went amazing for my picky kids and they loved their new styles. The barber was kind, patient and humble. As per pricing, you got to call to get an estimate. Lastly, its location may be hidden to those who are unfamiliar with Hayward. I would make sure I know exactly where is the shop before I make an appointment; as far as I know, there are no walk-ins. read more

Kevin is the best barber I've had, he's a real one. Gave me probably the best haircut in my life, no lie. Very professional and no non-sense. My Asian hair is hard to fade in my opinion, but he made it look great. He's appointment only so just a heads up, but he was willing to see me on short notice. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Dude did a great job on our initial encounter. I called to schedule an appointment with him not knowing there's two other barbershops in the same little building (who does that?) When I found that out I tried to reschedule with him and his next availability was at 5:10 which was fine but then he said he's going to charge $50 instead of the $35 he originally charges. I told him for that price I could've just got my hair cut next door, I'm not trying to spend $50 for a regular haircut, I tried to reschedule for the following morning and punk told me to lose his number. I wouldn't go to him if I were you, he's NOT about customer service or trying to get this money. read more

Called this place to ask when they have an opening and the response was, "our prices start at 40." That's not what i asked but ok. I ask how much for a scissor cut. "Depends on how long your hair is". What? What kind of place doesn't have set prices. What is it, a price per inch? I ask "do I need to make a reservation". His response is "well I'm on the phone with you now". I don't know if this dude was drunk or what. Just terrible customer service. Skip this place. read more

I had a problem and they solved it here. I literally called 5 different Barber shops in Hayward and surrounding areas for a low-maintenance quick haircut and the Man Kev made it happen. I called and he was straight to the point no funny business like alot of these other places. Kev Cut My hair and was solid with the clippers for sure. Kevin has been cutting since 2000. He knows what he's doing. I called in and got an appointment, showed up, waited about 5-10mins for the previous appointment to finish, and got a fresh cut. He works with you to figure out what your ideal length is and will only show you the finished product when he's satisfied. 1st time going in and will definitely be back. I been going here a few times and its pretty good. I used to go to this other place but this place is more walk in friendly. Kev is the main guy and hes pretty fast with solid skills. ST is a perfectionist and takes forever to do your line. I don't think he is there anymore, his chair is now empty. No razor cuts here but they can do almost as good with their clippers. This is a barber shop, not a salon. They got ESPN on the TV and maxim magazine on the counters. Usually there is no wait so I love coming here and just being able to get a quick cut and get out. I have gotten my hair lined up and cut here a few times. The shop is fairly small, but has a good vibe to it. Each time I have been there only one barber, Kev was there. He is a pretty laid back guy, who takes his time with your hair cuts. He perfers you make a appointment, but in all honesty each time I have went there was no one in the shop. He does a pretty good job with your lines, but I was not too thrilled with my taper I got there. Seeing that his shop is close to my house I will give him a few more chances to get the taper right before I start making the trek to Oakland to my normal barber. read more

I decided to try this place... Looks decent inside and I seen the prices 12-20 $. Long hair 20$ or more. I have short hair by the way and wanted a fade. The guy took forever to cut my hair. He did a good job on the faded part but messed up on the bangs; I asked to just trim the bangs NOT line it up! Wtf does he do?! Line it up. THE PRICE was 20$ SO I DO NOT recommend this place. First off they need to be more descriptive on their price board....and 20$ for a fade? No way! If so there better be some hair washing and good service. Never going back here.
