I'm a sucka for all things patterns, and Noh Nee's designer Dirndls (patterns coming from Senegal and Cameroon) are simply gorgeous and colorful and are made with high-quality fabrics from the Netherlands. One of the 3 owners who was running the shop was friendly and helpful when I went there, and she allowed me to try on as many Dirndls as I wanted, which is probably why I managed to find one that I love enough to buy it and to imagine wearing it for occasions other than Oktoberfest, Carnival, Halloween, etc. Tailoring/adjustment by the designer (for an additional 20 €) seems like no problem whatsoever. Unfortunately, this store is definitely not for the budget shoppers, but these Dirndls are one-of-a-kind. "Noh Nee Dirndl is for women who never wanted to wear one," and I can see how and why.
