They have a lot of trainers here for men and women and a selection of clothes and Bomber jackets. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the selection is also quite ok. Prices are fairly reasonable and the choice is not huge but enough that you can find something here if this is your thing. We ended up buying some trainers here and they also gave us a discount for buying more than one pair of shoes. It's a decent shop and good service. Not a bad place to find some interesting fashion and shoes.

I found several things I liked but they did not have my size. I am a size 39 (8 US) so my foot is average. The man who waited on me was not helpful. Eventually, I found a pair and made my purchase. I'd recommend to others to try another store before visiting this one as you may find better selection in both style and size. A note to American shoppers: the shoes here are actually more expensive than buying direct in America. Only purchase if you find a style you can't get at home.

On my quest for the right kind of outfit for a short glacier trekking in Patagonia in local summer,…read morethe shop assistant in this store gave me the best advice compared to four other stores I visited earlier during the day. The guy basically advised me that for my purpose and the reported temperature I shouldn't at all be looking at the kind of gear I was looking for. At least two other shop assistants (including one at Globetrotter, who I would imagine would know judging by the specialty goods that store sells) knew the purpose and the conditions I wanted the gear for, basically just showed me what I asked for. It was refreshing to get proper advice from a shop assistant who could have tried to sell me something. Instead he told me that for my purpose and in the reported conditions I wouldn't need at all what I had been looking for. For him, and I'm sure for most shoppers, it was more important to give me proper advice than to sell me something I would have later regretted buying. So based on that a 4 star experience. (so to be clear, in case it wasn't clear I ended up not buying anything)
So, continuing the tradition of being The Absent-Minded Professor whenever I am on travel, I…read moremanaged to lose my business-card holder. Aforementioned business-card holder came from Bellroy, a lovely specialist wallet-maker based in Australia, and while they ship for free to the US, I knew I'd be without this key part of my wardrobe for a few weeks. While browsing Bellroy's site, I figured let me see if München has any stores which stock their wallets, and much to my surprise, both Rocket and Lodenfrey were listed as retailers. After getting politely dismissed at Lodenfrey, I decided to give Rocket a call to see if they had stock in the wallet I was looking for, and spoke to a delightful lady who not only confirmed that she had my business-card holder in stock but also gave me walking directions to the store. As I walked through the door, the lady behind the counter looks at me and says - "Ah ha, you must be the man who called, welcome!" She walks me over to the Bellroy display case, and also comments on what is unmistakably a bottle of alcohol in my bag from a prior shop (Tara), and when I tell her it is Slyrs she laughs and points above the counter to a bottle, saying that she loves it too. Rocket is truly a lovely little shop full of eclectic, fashionable, yet very functional items. More remarkable is the warm welcome I got and the very kind customer engagement, especially as it was fairly obvious I was a tourist who needed one thing and who would be very unlikely to return. If you're in München, and looking for very cool clothing, accessories, or a very well-made wallet, you'd be very well-served skipping Lodenfrey for this cute little shop where people look forward to helping you out.

If you have the time to search and can deal with crowds, you may come up with something here but I would rather sightsee or eat and drink than spend time looking for an elusive find.
