The people who cleaned my house were two women who came at 8:00 a.m. and finished at around noon. I ordered a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom clean and they were thorough with their checklist. They keep me up to date with phone calls when I am out of the house. Overall I am satisfied with the cleaning job they did. They managed to get that pet odor smell from my sofa and chair in the living room (which I tried doing several times but failed). The smell of the house is a mild industrial smell, which is great. It smells clean, but not overwhelming.

Four people came and stayed for an amount of time equal to 5.59 hours of cleaning which seemed about 2 hours or less. The cleaners were not friendly. Only two of them seemed like they were working. And the lack of things not cleaned in my 1200 sq ft smaller home in the amount of time/people was confusing. They cleaned the oven but not the top of the stove or under the burners. They cleaned the sink fixtures in both restrooms but not the sink bowls. They only cleaned one toilet but broke the toilet handle without fixing. They mopped floors and left a dull sheen and water marks. The kitchen floor still had food on it after they mopped. They did not clean my front entryway floor. They vacuumed 2 rugs but did not sweep or remove small particles from nearby wood floors. In fact, it seemed like I did not get a deep or even regular cleaning. They didn't clean any window, glass front door, or bathroom mirror. There was no apology. When I contacted the main lady to discuss, she said that they noted that they would need more time on the next visit as they had run out of time. I shared the lack of things not cleaned and she said she would check with their team lead to see what happened. Nor was a list of what should be covered in a deep cleaning ever shared after I shared my confusion. Later, she texted that they could come back the next day to clean what I mentioned on the call or they could remove the deep cleaning fee and only charge the regular clean. I asked for the removal of deep cleaning fee as I felt the cleaners present in my home were not respectful of my space or their services. And that is how I ended up paying $159 (normal cleaning fee) for four people to come and poorly mop and vacuum my smaller home. I truly feel taken advantage of. I shared further feedback the next day with pictures and there was no response.

My review is on a move-in cleaning. We recently purchased a new home and I chose Best Cleaning. I…read morewas 100% comfortable from the initial contact with Jessica. The day before we moved in, I let them know that we had a high ceiling fan in our living room in case they needed to bring a ladder. I was told they didn't carry ladders on the truck but had extension rods that should work. (Comments about cleaning this ceiling fan will be explained later). I spent from 9:00 am to 6:30 pm with Brian. In my opinion, he was totally overwhelmed with this job. He thought it was in my best interest from a cost standpoint to not call in for assistance. Brian did an excellent job of cleaning the bathrooms and cleaning out the refrigerators we'd purchased. The company was aware of my requests for specific cleaning service well in advance. I wanted the couches and other upholstery steam-cleaned as well as the steps. The prior owners did have pets, so there was quite a bit of pet hair that needed to be vacuumed. Below are my lists of complaints and specific problems for future readers to consider. 1. Brian brought in a 2-3 step, step ladder. When the extension rod didn't reach the fan blades, he stacked 4 square loose stones onto the step ladder. While stepping off the stool, he missed the last step and knocked a spare stone onto my hardwood floor. This is in the open area of the floor and NOT underneath the couch. It dented 3 chips in the wood; which I've had to try and fix myself. There is NO way he didn't know what he did. I should have commented at the time but didn't. My fault. Who stacks stones to step on, to reach high above your head? 2. The steam-cleaning of the couch and chairs was below adequate on actual cleaning. Cleaning solution that smelled good was sprayed all over; which also went onto the hardwood floors. The equipment used seemed fine, but half-way through, the hand cleaner piece overheated. ?? The final touch-up/mopping of the hardwood floors was cloudy looked terrible. My husband and I wiped over it the next day and used a dry cloth which helped greatly! 3. Finally, I quietly questioned in my head, "why" he didn't dry vacuum in advance of steam cleaning the carpets. When I reached out to his wife, the other owner, she explained that they feel you get a much better clean, and it costs you less, if they simply do the steam cleaning alone. This is absolutely not true, despite pet hair - as I regular vacuumed the next day and removed 6 canisters of "stuff." While I appreciate that this company worked "very hard" to clean my house, I feel I greatly overpaid for the service I received; including the damage to the floor. I honestly feel I should have just cleaned the house myself as it would have saved an entire day, $$$ and a dented floor. I'm a good person and did provide Brian a tip for his service simply because I would have felt bad in not doing so.

The receptionist said they do, and claimed they don't charge for the drive. I got an estimate based on how many rooms. It seemed high, but considering the favorable reviews on line, I figured they must be worth it. Later that evening I received a message saying that someone named Jason had upped the estimated from $460-$490 to $510 with no reason given. She told me about a $30 off coupon on their web site that I could use, which 'magically' brings it back down to the original estimate range. The receptionist also said they were available Tuesday or Wednesday next week. I called back the next morning and left a message. I accepted the estimate, and said either day was fine. I also asked they call me back with which day and morning or afternoon. No response on Tuesday. I called back again and left a similar message on the other phone number she gave me. No call back on Wednesday. On Thursday morning I called and left the message to cancel, and if they came out, it was on their expense, not ours. Also, I said I would be posting a negative review. I got an immediate call back with an apology. However, the receptionist 'claimed' she didn't get any of my previous messages even though my third message (that she was returning the call from) was to the exact same phone numbers I had left the first two messages.
