No food allowed inside which is totally understandable and kept the place perfectly clean. Librarians were helpful and kind, and the parking lot had plenty of spots and solar panels! It's located right off the main strip and surrounded by trees providing much needed shade from the Yuma sun. Although in stature compared to others I was pleasantly surprised by the modernization inside. It offers all the amenities of a library such as free online services, in-person classes and the like. Of course the AC, library quietness and the use of natural light through the windows shouldn't be taken for granted. I might consider taking the kids (myself included) here on the weekends. In short it's worth the consideration!

Checked out a book and got assistance from the librarian. Very nice people. I didn't find a large selection of books that I was looking for, but there are a great number of books. They also offer digital books, dvds and cds.

But being able to check out e-books through this library has been a life saver (and a money saver!). I used to enjoy taking my son to the baby time events (it was pre covid though so I'm unsure what all they offer now.) This library is large, clean, has a helpful and nice staff, great parking lot with a good view of the mountains, and the location is convenient (right off of the interstate).

Really helped keep my daughter and I engaged in the content. We had a great tour guide who wrote a more in depth book. He was entertaining, kept things moving. The short film is also a good introduction. Even at the end of February, the sun was fierce. Wish we would have brought hats and water. I have forgotten how dry it can be. While it wasn't hot, the sun felt unrelenting. Highly recommend stopping and enjoying the site. A great piece of American history.

It still looks perfectly fine. The book works perfectly fine, no sticky pages or ANYTHING. There's nothing keeping anyone from reading it but no, you have to pay for the whole book now that there is slight damage that no one would've noticed but the person working at the library. The manager is stingy. There is other books there with way more damage, but apparently to the manager this book damage was irreplaceable. Not great customer service at all.
