The staff from 24/7 Service Pros was very helpful and prompt. They immediately inspected the spot I thought was mold and informed me it was just a mark from some welding the previous tenant had done on the AC unit. They also provided some general recommendations to help prevent any mold in the future but confirmed we didn't need their service at this time. I told him I needed to run errands and pick up supplies, and returned around 1:15PM yet no one was here. I asked what was going on, and he said he was on his way. I assumed he would arrive with his team and expressed frustration about losing half a day. When I got home around 3:20PM, Jose was at the house alone. We talked, and he reached out to his team, who finally arrived around 5:30PM but left within about 20 minutes. I stepped next door to talk to a neighbor and noticed they were gone. I texted to ask if they'd return. Jose explained they had left to pick up a truck to load and remove trash. They never returned. I attempted to leave a Google review but was blocked by a false positive warning. I've never had that issue. I still have piles of trash and stacks of tile in my kitchen. One member of his team wore an ankle bracelet, explained as immigration related. No judgment here as the guy was super kind. But with inconsistent square footage from one quote to the next, no show on tile day, seems like a potential red flag. Again, everyone, including Jose, was polite and respectful. Something is definitely shady though and at the end of the day, I'm left with failed promises, no clear path forward, and friends visiting tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. I guess clean concrete tomorrow is better than half-set tiles, assuming that someone actually shows up.
