On September 18, 2022, at around 8 p.m. I got a call from my husband telling me I needed to come home right away because a pipe had burst under the bathroom vanity and water had been spilling out for hours. I got home to at least an inch of water in the master bathroom, bedroom, closets, and even some coming out into the living room. I panicked and didn't know where to start but I remembered seeing in the Palm Beach County Best Picks Report Guide companies that dealt with Water Damage and Mold Remediation. We had just received that guide in the mail. I called the first company listed but no one answered. I called the second company - Rapid Recovery Team - and Charles Massou immediately answered and 45 minutes later people were at my house starting the clean up process. Huge fans were brought in that night after the water was cleaned up and the drying process began. It was after midnight when the first crew left. I didn't have to do anything - except cry a little! After that, Rapid's Mold Remediation Team did their thing, followed by their Reconstruction Team. We had to have hardwood floors removed, drywall cut out and replaced, and new vanities installed. But, in addition to the reconstruction work that needed to be done because of the water damage, I also contracted with Rapid to do some other remodeling work to the house. Like changing out our gas fireplace to a modern electric one, updating our kitchen with new countertops, backsplash, and range hood, and a few other items. I was a little apprehensive about contracting with them because I didn't know how good their work was, but my project manager Anthony gave me references to contact and I did. All references gave me good reports on the work Rapid did for them. And now, several months later, I just closed my contract with Rapid and happily paid them their final check. Rapid Recovery is a highly professional team. I had a great experience with The Rapid Recovery Team. I had a mold problem with our rental property. It was a unique situation because the roof had a bad leak and we were in the process of replacing the roof, however it was about a month away.
