The doctor examined me and said "Maybe your bra is too tight," then recommended Tylenol and rest. 2 days later my symptoms had not improved so I went to the ER, by the time I arrived I had entered sepsis which is life threatening. NYU Langone admitted me for a week with chest pneumonia. I can't believe how badly my pain was dismissed and I nearly died from lack of care by this practice. Do not visit this urgent care.

Every single staff member was kind and attentive yet faced paced and efficient. I felt completely heard and that I was in capable hands. I have a recurring issue that has always been dismissed by other urgent cares, ultimately resulting in escalation and later hospitalization. Here, I was given the exact treatment I knew I needed in order to prevent the root problem from spiraling, as well as a some over the counter meds to ease my symptoms. Was ~6th in line and had to wait about an hour in the waiting room to be seen by a doc, most of the people there in the AM seemed like they needed covid testing. Besides the wait, the doctor was really compassionate and concerned about my situation and was surprised I hadn't come in sooner. I was out within 20 min of seeing the doctor with an RX. Besides the annoying wait time, it felt like the nicest med interaction I've had in the last few years at an urgent care facility.

I think there was only 1 doc on staff for the day and after an hour of waiting, I was seen. I was miserable but the staff were patient and heard me out. They decided to run a flu and covid panel. Despite being vaccinated I was stunned to learned I contracted Flu A. We discussed medication and the doc took some of my preferences for my terrible cough and prescribed me steroids and tamiflu. Due to the holiday season and time of day there were no local pharmacies open. The doc went above and beyond to find me a pharmacy that was open and close enough by so I could start the tamiflu ASAP. My meds were ready in 10 mins and I could not be more grateful. The wait time was awful sitting there for an hour but believe the docs urgency in prescribing my meds prevented me from getting much worse. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

The bad: We had an appointment at 9:45 but waited until 10:45 to see the doctor. There was only 1 doctor there, he was treating 1 patient when we arrived and there was 1 patient in front of us. The two nurses at the front desk were extremely unprofessional. When we arrived they still had 1:15 left for their shift and were already loudly complaining to each other how they couldn't wait to go home. The one nurse set up the station in the care room for the stitches and did not wear gloves or wash her hands before touching equipment. They left right at 11pm and left the doctor alone with us for the remainder of the care. The next day my partner needed to pick up antibiotics that they said would be ready. When he arrived he found out they cancelled the prescription without informing him. He called Chai care and they said they would send it to a different pharmacy, but they never did. They closed early for the day (summer Friday schedule) and never followed up before closing. My partner ended up having to do a telehealth appointment elsewhere to get a new prescription in time

I was recovering myself from pneumonia and needed a follow up appointment and this urgent care allowed me to confirm that I was okay. They did a fast ultrasound or x ray of my lungs and I got my results on the same day. I did not know any urgent care centers that give me the same ultrasound and x ray results on the same day. Usually the wait time is long but this place was super fast!
