We've used other agencies in the past and were pretty underwhelmed until we connected with Mari. We decided to stick with Ivy Lane for many reasons, they took the time to really listen to our needs and requirements, they were kind and professional throughout, and the caliber of nannies that we interviewed. The founder has been very communicative, professional, detailed, and would check in throughout the entire process- even when we would forget to share our updates (mommy brain!). Most importantly our daughter loves our nanny so so much and that really should speak wonders. We are so grateful and couldn't be happier! I've referred Ivy Lane to all the my mommy friends and a few of them have already started working with Mari!

I started the initial stages of my job search with a lot of enthusiasm and with a list of…read morequalifications that I was determined to find in my next job. I must have submitted my resume into a dozen job agency ads/websites, various online portals (Monster, Ziprecruiter, LinkedInetc) and spoke with many representatives while visiting their offices. Over time, the search became repetitive and discouraging, as it stretched longer than anticipated and I was getting the same dead-end responses from recruiters. It was a breath of fresh air when Elite Placement reached out to me. Right away I noticed the differences in their service. John and his team are certainly the experts that were there to support, ready to communicate, and sincerely want to go above and beyond to find the right job for me. My main contact was John. He was very professional, stayed transparent and accessible to answer any/all questions via email and phone. This was comforting for me because I was not familiar with the "temp to hire" process and I had moments when it was easy to let negatives creep into my thoughts. Please note it is so important to not give up or settle for any offers that are on the table especially if it doesn't fullfill all your requirements. From my first conversation with John to the time I received my official offer letter, it took a total of 6 months. A lot of sacrificing and adjustments were made along the way, but John and his team stayed supportive and encouraging the entire time. Remember that they are on your side! I feel really lucky to have found Elite Placement Group. It is a wonderful feeling and a great sense of accomplishment when finally signing that offer letter. I now hold a position that aligns with my career and within the company of my top choice. I am beyond happy and this is the best gift I can receive right before the Holidays. I feel blessed that I can spend happy times with my family without having to worry about my future. Thank you John and Team! Wishing you guys lots of success and happiness in the future!

Finding My Dream Job During A Worldwide Pandemic…read more I saw the most perfect job position posted on Indeed by 80Twenty that aligned with everything I wanted with my career. I applied immediately, and checked for the next few days, if my application had been viewed. Knowing how competitive Los Angeles is, not to mention how much more it is now during a pandemic, I searched for the job posting on LinkedIn, hoping I could and a direct message to the assigned recruiter. At the time the job wasn't posted and there were multiple recruiters that worked with 80Twenty. I went through each profile, seeing if maybe they were separated by industry but I couldn't really tell. So I finally sent a LinkedIn direct message to the CEO of 80Twenty, Annika Brytnse. I sat with anticipation, over-analyzing if I had overstepped, if she would even respond, etc. I've worked with some amazing recruiters before, but often it's difficult to get one to respond back due to the overwhelming response of candidates they usually get. To my surprise, she replied back quickly, providing me an email introduction to Larissa Gerlach, Head of Recruitment Services. My experience with Larissa was absolutely amazing. I was able to speak candidly with her, and she communicated with me at every step. She even took additional time out of her day, to let me practice a Go-To-Market presentation, I had created on my own, hoping it would help give me an edge. She provided feedback and encouragement, that gave me the confidence to present for the executive team. When I received the news I had gotten the job from the client, Larissa didn't just email me congratulations, she called me directly! She explained that our connection wouldn't just stop here. She would be there to assist, even after I started the role. I've never felt so supported by other recruiters before. She went above and beyond her job description. In closing, I would reccomend 80Twenty to both potential clients and applicants. Looking at posts on LinkedIn and my own experiences regarding experiences with recruiters aren't always as positive. Lack of follow-up and full knowledge of what the role entails is often frustrating on both the client and applicant side. Such positive experiences as I've had with 80Twenty should be applauded and shouted to the heavens! Thank you so much 80Twenty for helping me find my dream role, in the midst of a worldwide pandemic!

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you end up using Michelle, it will ruin all other agencies for you…read more I am a professional career nanny. I have over seven years of nannying experience, five years of teaching experience, and more. I have a B/S in childhood development as well as my MAT. When I began my search for a nanny-family in LA, I did my due diligence by shopping around looking at multiple agencies. I found that Michelle had the TOP RATED AGENCY ON MULTIPLE SITES and wanted to take a closer look. I read through every. single. review. I thought to myself, "Really? Every single person had a positive experience with this agency? That's just not statistically possible if she's really working with this many people..." I decided to set up a meeting. I drove to her office where we met to discuss particulars (what I'm looking for, what families are in the market for a nanny right now, what ages/salary/commute/hours I'm looking for) and the moment she opened the door and greeted me with a giant smile and her upbeat, positive attitude, I felt like just working with HER was my perfect placement! Once we started the process, Michelle was completely professional while also refreshingly honest and realistic in her suggestions. She really took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for and she only suggested me to families that she knew had the potential to be a "love match!" After looking at a few potential matches, Michelle called me to tell me that she had "found my family!" She said, "This is the one. Please go for an interview and see for yourself." So I did. This is the part of the review where I'm going to get annoyingly emotional. Not only did the family and I immediately "click," but Michelle had made sure that all of our stats were in alignment. The age range, schedule, amount of hours, commuting time, pay rate, expectations and needs happened to all align with what I was looking for. It was LITERALLY the PERFECT PLACEMENT!!!! Coincidence? I think not. Michelle is highly intelligent, professional, personable, understanding, diligent, experienced, communicative, and pleasantly charismatic and I owe my job satisfaction directly to her. Now that I think about it, maybe I should send over a bottle of wine. Thank you, Michelle, for just being so incredibly good at what you do. As I mentioned earlier, when I started this process, I read through every one of your (5 star) reviews and thought, "There's just no way every single review can be five stars..." and now here I am adding one more.

It seemed like I had landed a few dream jobs only for it to slip away from me. Really trying times. Then I met Michelle! This brings a smile to my face. Meeting with her felt like chatting with a friend. I realized after that this is her skill. She loves people and wants to represent both the families and the nannies. It was a slow period and she didn't have any job opportunities at the time when I signed up with her agency, the perfect placement. After being on the hunt for my top nanny job with a kind family for many months and it wasn't happening I was getting ready to move out of state. I mentioned to Michelle that I'm no longer looking for a position as it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Michelle didn't give up on me. She called me with 2 opportunities. I went on both interviews and was called back to do a trial for the one that I wanted !! Yay !! Then Michelle negotiated some time off that I needed to take care of a health issue. The family was so wonderful they waited for me ! All I can say everything lined up perfectly. Michelle will always return your call in a timely manner and she always checks in to see how you're doing. I thank God I met Michelle !

Michael was always available, quick to respond and was there for advice and guidance as we went through the process together.
