The customer service is not great - I went in inquiring about a membership and the front desk guy…read morecouldn't care less about me. He shrugged and said "just do it online." This gym also has a smell of cat litter. Not sure if it's the rubber floors or what, but the bottom floor really stinks. Other than those two, a gym is a gym and I'm there to work out. The sauna is nice and gets very hot.

The owner, Dan Owens, instructs these classes often and will absolutely crush your upper and lower body in the best possible way. He is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to making sure every person in the room knows what to do and helps with form if necessary and welcomed. Another great perk is access to the locker rooms and saunas. I feel the entire facility is kept clean and organized. I love the big windows everywhere which allow for a ton of natural light to come inside. I also enjoy using the indoor/outdoor green space on the bottom floor which has a garage door that can open and close depending on the weather. Very nice during Spring, Summer and early Fall. I never feel like I have to wait for equipment to free up, and they do offer complimentary towels at the front desk upon check-in. This athletic club is on ClassPass and I typically just purchase gym time using a couple credits or I sign up for the circuit or conditioning classes.

He's super personable and has really great energy - everyone loves working out with him! I've also worked with the other trainers - Phillip, Malik, Hunter, and Ariel - they're all amazing and really friendly, and you get to learn different tips, exercises, etc. from all of them. It's a semi-private studio environment so you don't have to worry about being judged! The space is always clean and well-stocked with snacks, towels, water, etc. Their use of technology is also great - you receive a heart rate monitor, you can see your schedule on an app, you get scanned periodically on the Styku to see your progress, and you can even text your trainers! You won't regret hiring a personal trainer to get in shape!

As of this morning, this is the 3rd time in less than a month where the person who is supposed to…read moreopen the gym at 5am has not shown up on time. The first incident occurred about 3 1/2 weeks ago and someone didn't show up until 5:25. The second occurrence happened about a week ago and they arrived at 5:08. And now this morning it is 5:08 and nobody is here yet again. This is completely unacceptable and throws off everyone's day who count on a full morning workout prior to starting their work day. Seems to me they either need to find better help but in order to do that, probably pay more than $10/hour or whatever they are currently paying. Once I can understand, happening twice ok maybe a little issue, but the fact this happened a 3rd time tells me a change needs to be made. UPDATE: it is now 5:27am and STILL nobody is here and the gym has not opened yet.

A few minutes later, I realized the sauna was becoming excessively hot. When I looked up, I noticed that the thermostat had been covered with a napkin-like material. The sign on the door clearly states, "Do not cover the thermostat," which made me feel uneasy, so I decided to step out to inform the front desk. As I opened the door, the sauna's sprinklers suddenly activated, startling me, and moments later, the fire alarm went off. I did not find anybody at the front desk. Only one rep was doing a sales pitch on the table next to the front desk. He didn't seem bothered by the fire alarm and continued as normal. I had to interrupt him to tell that the sauna had an issue. The next day, I called the gym manager to ask about their safety protocols and what measures they planned to implement to prevent this from happening again. To my surprise, the manager stated that there were no plans to address the issue, insisting that the existing sign on the door was sufficient. When I raised concerns about customer safety--such as what could happen if the sprinklers failed or were tampered with just like the thermostat--the manager dismissively responded that they had no intention of taking any further action. He curtly stated, "It doesn't matter."
