On Saturday, August 9th at around 5:30am I bought a big whip tank as I always do. However, this time the top wouldn't go on it seemed like it was warped. When I got home I tried a different top. I got it on. I hit the tank twice and then it just stopped working. I compared it to an empty tank. I even weighed them. Sure enough it was empty. I paid $52.99 for this and most likely some employee did it all. They sold me an empty tank!!! When I called them the guy said it was most likely shipped to them that way. I don't really believe that. He also said he didn't know the exchange policy for tanks and wouldn't let me return it! I got ripped off by Starships, Suwanee! read more

Went to visit recently and digged the selection of stuff but after browsing problems came at checkout. I use to take all my friends here once they turned 18 as a "welcome to the adult world" birthday outing. :) they have a wide variety of things here, but I must say: if u are going here for tobacco products, almost any head shop in the area will be cheaper! I had a horrible experience in this store. I am a black man who visited the store on Friday December 30th at around 12 noon. I had been browsing for about 10 minutes, when I heard the store manager(who knew that a black person was in the store) say to his employee that some people don't want black people in their stores. The manager then approached me with a friendly greeting, but proceeded to hover over me while I shopped. This guy was either overtly sending me a message that he did not want me in his store; or he was ignorant to the fact that he was being extremely rude to a customer. Let me begin by describing the premises and the storefront. Starship is located right off of I-85, but a little tricky to get to because of how the road is divided. Inside, it is very clean and organized, and the selection of dildos, pipes and adult films is great. Really a cool shop, and especially refreshing considering the location is in such a religiously conservative place. As a commenter posted before me, the personnel at Starship really know their stuff. Whether through personal experience or through studious research, they know the products, and they know what items bring them repeat business. Now, I am going to share the story of my last visit to justify the low review. I went with my girlfriend to buy a detox kit for her. As she was a bit unhappy at having to get herself one, I did the talking, as well as the purchasing. The store manager was there, as well as what can only be described as a "big dude". Well, the manager was kind of snotty, but not unprofessionally so. Just made it obvious that if I were in the market to make new friendships, it might be good to skip past him. Big Dude helped me (again, on my girlfriend's behalf) in narrowing down which detox kits were popular and most trusted by their regular patrons. My girlfriend got uncomfortable when Big Dude made a comment about how he would prefer Taylor Swift to be muffled from speaking by his anatomy, so she went out to the car while I paid for her detox stuff. Once we had gotten down the road a bit, I was informed that, while I was having a conversational exchange with the manager (I really try to be social), Big Dude said, "I bet you're glad you don't have to deal with this." Presumptuous, but not altogether offensive. However, his follow-up comment, "I bet you get to pay for it, though," really got all over me, and I am still shocked at how unprofessional and ignorant what he said was. It was a smart move for her to wait until we were down the road to mention this. Starship in Suwanee gets an extra star from me for being a sex shop and having "tobacco accessories", especially in the Bible Belt, but the shop won't receive my business again.
