My daughter has gained so much confidence, and her dancing has improved tremendously. It gives my daughter structure and shows her what it truly means to be part of a team. Even though it can be hard at times, those moments are shaping her and laying a foundation for great things. This studio holds a special place in our hears, as I also danced here as a child and teen. The staff here are genuinely nice. I am new to the 'dance population'. My daughter has wanted to…read morejoin dance forever, and I suck as a mom, so I barely signed her up this past September. I'm so bummed I didn't start her sooner! She LOVES the class! Now, let me explain my little one. She is really active, loves all sports, hates all dresses. I don't think "girly" has ever been a word to describe my 9 year old daughter. Feisty? Yeah, that one I've heard a few times to describe her... ;) So, when she joined the hip hop class, on the first day I was a bit intimidated by the bling, mini shorts, and hot pink shirts the other girls were wearing, but the instructors do an amazing job of making the girls feel comfortable and have fun. The facility is organized, clean, and inexpensive! ($50 a month for one class) However, I understand dance 'can' get pretty expensive (just like any extracurricular activity), so, I can't speak in terms of the prices for the competition dance classes or costumes.

It definitely put me in the holiday 'mood' and has an uplifting ending! The story rapidly progresses and the time just flew by, even though it was two hours long! :) Over the years I have been to 2nd Space Theatre multiple times and each performance that I have been fortunate to attend, has been top-notch! Usually PERFECTLY cast too! The plays that they choose to perform are family friendly, which is why I like to support them. It is a small theater, but that's the beauty of it. The creativity with props, lighting and costumes never ceases to amaze me. For what they have to work with, it's amazing what they can pull off. This is the first time I have gone, where they have offered us SEAT CUSHIONS! I recommend them too! Guess why! ;) At intermission, they sell a variety of candy bars, water, cookies, coffee, and cocoa. All of it is about two dollars each. You cannot take food or drinks into the theater, with the exception of bottled water. You can park directly across the street in the east side of the Dollar Tree parking lot, or near the Chinese restaurant / Health food store area and walk east. I consider what they offer our city as a 'gift'. Fresno truly has some GREAT local talent!
