Hotel Stars is a misnomer. The use of "Stars," because it is plural, implies that it has earned more than one star; Hotel Stars has obviously not done that.
You do get what you pay for, and that is basic budget accommodations. For about 38€/room/night for on a Thursday and Friday night, we got a couple of twin occupancy rooms, full bathroom ensuite. The room included two small, lumpy beds, a window overlooking the meatpacking facility next door, some dark carpeting, a small TV, and a shower and toilet that worked.
A few things you should know if you stay here:
* Bring a flashlight. The management closes the front desk and turns off ALL the lights in the lobby and hallways after 9pm.
* Wear earplugs. The meatpacking facility starts work at around 6am, involves a steady stream of trucks backing up to the loading dock.
