After they supposedly completed the installation, we discovered an open, uncovered hole in the yard near the septic area, creating a serious safety hazard. I notified them on March 6 about the issue, yet it has not been addressed with the urgency it requires. Because of this, I have not been able to safely move into the property, especially with children involved. I raised this concern multiple times with Jeanine and Michael, and the lack of follow-up and poor customer service has been unacceptable. Communication has been inconsistent, and there has been little accountability in resolving a problem that should have been fixed immediately. What's also frustrating is that Starr Septic was very quick to push for payment with deadlines and due dates, but that same level of urgency has not been applied when it comes to follow-ups or fixing a serious issue they left behind. Leaving a job site in this condition after a paid installation is completely unacceptable. This is a basic safety issue that should never require repeated follow-ups from the customer. If you are considering using Starr Septic, I strongly recommend closely monitoring their work and ensuring everything is completed properly before considering the job done.

He was meticulous and did a wonderful job on the roof. The gutters were sub contracted out and they did a great job as well. Because of the quality of his work on the roof we then hired him to put up vinyl siding and 5 replacement windows. Again he did a great job. He is experienced and knows what he is doing, and is particularly attentive to details. We often talked to each other about how impressive his work ethic is and how detail oriented he is. He cleaned up after himself everyday before he quit for the day....and when the job was finished he cleaned up so well that you would barely know a contractor had been in. Because of changes we made to the contract and the fact that he worked alone the job took longer than we had anticipated. However, the quality of the finished job more that makes up for the extra time. His prices on both contracted jobs were fair and in line with other estimates we had received.
