The hotel is only two levels but if you have a lot of luggage or you're disabled, it could be a big problem. My main complaint: the bed mattress is/eas horrible. Squishy but not soft and not firm. I can't explain but it was not a comfortable bed. Pillows are fine. The breakfast is OK. It's probably about the same as some other higher end hotels. Nothing else special to eat after breakfast. You're limited to Subway or PizzaHut for later. Having said that, this is a small town in Kansas at least an hour from larger towns. There are only three hotels. This is probably your best shot

We LOVED the food served for dinner and breakfast, and the pool was WONDERFUL, as was the hot tub. Tricia is just an amazing and wonderful woman and was so happy to help us in every way, in fact, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. When they hand you your keys, they say "Welcome Home", and they mean it! Very kind and open-minded people and I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast for anyone staying in Northeast Kansas! Oh and if you stay there, be sure to get the one-hour long massage for only $45 - their massage therapist is the BEST I've been to - in my life. Can't recommend highly enough! The only downside is that there are only privacy locks on the inside of the doors - at the time of this posting there was no way to lock the door from the outside leaving me a bit anxious about leaving my belongings in my room. However, nothing was stolen or anything, it was just different than most B&Bs or hotels.

I asked and was told that Weaver Hotel was the best so I headed back to where I parked and went in the door which led to a gift area. I purposely left my boots unzipped. As I stood there and waited for someone to notice me I looked around. The dining room was empty except one table with two gentleman talking quietly. When an employee finally noticed me I was asked if I was here for takeout and then as I answered the person that asked walked away into a noisy kitchen shouting "hold on I can't hear you". When I told her I wanted to eat, she passed me off to another employee who then assumed I was there for the takeout and commenced ringing me up for it. I then told her again that k wanted to sit and eat and asked if that was possible. She said yes and pointed to another employee whom she said was the cook. She told the cook that I wanted to eat, to which the cook replied "ok", didn't look up at me, and walked right past me. As she walked away, she shouted over her shoulder "what do you want?" I said I'd take the lunch special and she walked away. I stood there and said "do I just sit anywhere?" Yes, was the response. I was then brought my food, never checked on again, never asked where I was from or how I was, nothing. I guess small town hospitality or just manners and kindness in general isn't a thing here. Not saying everyone isn't probably a good person at heart and means well. Just optically, it looks really bad- like you judged me and didn't want me there. I truly felt uncomfortable the whole time and I don't recommend unless you fit the type of person they're used to, evidentially. And I'm 6'4 and white! Maybe just take a look at how you treat strangers that are nothing but polite and kind. Food was really good and fast though to be fair. Oh, and then as I waited to pay, my waitress walks by and says "oh and you can't tip after paying with a card". Lmao. So I tipped $10 and said have a great day to which one of them replied "yep". A storm forced my daughter and I to get a hotel room for the night and I found Audrey's Motel. I…read moream so glad I did. Audrey's Motel is great! Check in took 2-3 mins and the owner/proprietor was friendly and very sweet trying to make us and our stay a happy one. He proudly told us about the hotel and his family that runs it (deep ties to military, law enforcement, and community). You can tell the family really cares about providing good stays for their patrons and love their hotel and proudly care for it by attending to every detail. The price was reasonable and the room is a good size, clean, everything works well, no smell, no bugs, no issues, there is nice tv programs with lots of viewing options, and the owner knew lots of local eateries and gave great recommendations. We got settled in our room and visited Quacker's to eat (which I enjoyed & recommend too) then went back to our hotel room to our comfortable queen beds. After driving 360 miles, a comfy bed is so appreciated! Bedding is soft and clean with nice pillows. The room is nicely stocked and clean. In the room we had a desk, table to dine at, multiple chairs, dresser with nice deep drawers, wood hangers and rack to hang coats and clothes, lots of lighting options, side tables, phone, the light blocking curtains, luggage butler, fresh towels, toiletries, a large tv with remote, individually packaged cups and an ice bucket, blow dryer, a separate sink area private bathroom, and a working ac and heater unit. The room had Everything we needed and wanted! There is a fridge in the room hidden in the dresser behind a false door, and there are 2 microwaves in common areas and an ice machine which served us just fine. There was zero sound from outside the room heard which provided a private and peaceful stay. The Internet worked spot on so my kid could access their online school work. If you are in the area Audrey's Motel is the place to stay! A big thank you to the owner and their family for the great experience. We loved your hotel!

My Grandfather was the Richardson County Sheriff back in the 1920's and the desk clerk I met in 1984 remembered him from when he was a kid. Will always remember that.
