We were itching all day and I had bites in a bunch on my face hands and different areas. I never experienced bed bug bites before til my drs confirmed. I called them and talked to a lady and she couldnt believe it. So I dont know if i was taken serious but both beds in room 110 have bed bugs. Totally disgusted and painful. No apology no refund no nothing. I now have a different review for this motel.

I showed it to him and he continued to question me about when I made the reservation, like even questioning what time of day. I made this reservation 3 months before the stay. He finally put us in the jacuzzi suite, where the jacuzzi didn't work. That's fine, no concern about the jacuzzi I was exhausted and just wanted the king bed. We walked into a humid and hot room. We turned the AC on down to 60° on "high" fan, that fan ran on low at best. It took quite awhile to become tolerable. The bed itself was hard and not comfortable. The lobby stinks like old musty smoke and the room had somewhat of an old musty smell too. Originally based on photos, it reminded me of the Super 8 in Beloit, KS and by that I mean nothing flashy but not your stereotypical trashy/sketchy Super 8. Not the worst place I have stayed but won't be back.

We LOVED the food served for dinner and breakfast, and the pool was WONDERFUL, as was the hot tub. Tricia is just an amazing and wonderful woman and was so happy to help us in every way, in fact, everyone was incredibly welcoming and kind. When they hand you your keys, they say "Welcome Home", and they mean it! Very kind and open-minded people and I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast for anyone staying in Northeast Kansas! Oh and if you stay there, be sure to get the one-hour long massage for only $45 - their massage therapist is the BEST I've been to - in my life. Can't recommend highly enough! The only downside is that there are only privacy locks on the inside of the doors - at the time of this posting there was no way to lock the door from the outside leaving me a bit anxious about leaving my belongings in my room. However, nothing was stolen or anything, it was just different than most B&Bs or hotels.
