While…read morein town and with the threat of rain, last minute plans meant the kids' first trip to the cinema! I ordered tickets online and discovered they have discounted tickets on Tuesday plus 50% off popcorn if you sign up for their loyalty club... which I did. If you buy online, you'll need to download the app. The app was actually very easy to use. The theatre itself was a bit tucked away but I eventually found the parking lot. There's ample parking and the building echoed times when movie theaters were bustling with visitors. It was a little run down and quiet and 2 people working concessions, 1 working as the ticket checker, and... that was it. There are a few claw machines and a motorcycle arcade game, plus a Photo Booth that didn't really work. Restrooms were decently clean... though there was one stall where the cover to the toilet paper dispenser had opened and the entire roll had tipped into a toilet bowl. There are about 15 screens there and - wow - I did not expect the size of those reclining chairs. Because they reclined, the aisles between each row are quite spacious. My kids are small and they were tiny in the seats, haha. Very comfy and though there were cracks in the seats, it didn't really have a negative impact on me. The theatre looked clean. For a first trip with my kids, it was a pretty good experience! I was terrified that the kids wouldn't sit still or would be loud, but it wasn't bad. It did help that there were only two other people on my row with the rest all crowded on another row. The ticket checker was pretty blasé if he wasn't checking tickets but the concession stand staff were pretty helpful and nice! No real complaints other than maybe have a step stool for kids to wash their hands a little easier. This is a good location for another movie outing!

The theater is well-maintained with great stage lighting and impeccable sound quality, offering good acoustics for a rock performance. However, the lack of public WiFi and dead zones in certain areas, like the ladies' room, can be inconvenient. Street parking along the street is convenient, and concessions are available at the entrance as well as a small bar offering reasonably priced drinks. Merch tables greet you upon entry, making it suitable for small shows.

It's…read moreinteresting that - as of this writing - the new management has not yet "claimed" this business on Yelp, but if they eventually do, I hope this review remains on file. I was surprised, then anxious to see how this VERY TINY, old movie theater would work as a new concert venue, but then I was quickly discouraged by the fact that the new management had FAILED TO PROVIDE HEAT for a concert they were presenting in the dead of winter (February 24). Remarkably, during the intermission of the show I had attended I had the extraordinary opportunity to chat quickly with the lead singer of the band that was performing at the particular program I had attended. Shockingly, he immediately shared with me the fact that he and his band had COMPLAINED to the management about the lack of heat in the theater and that the management had "blown them off". How contemptible and unforgivable is it that the management was unable to provide as simple and amenity as HEAT for a live music concert in the dead of winter? If you have read this far, I strongly urge you to RESIST the temptation to patronize this location - unless and until they show enough respect for their patrons to provide heat during the winter.

I know this isn't something they have much, if any, control over. My issue is management being poorly informed on dealings with open captions, specifically requesting a showtime for a movie. This process is available by request via a form on the AMC website. Unfortunately management doesn't seem to be aware of this and instead tried to tell us we had to do a private theater rental. These are two very different things as the request for an open captioned showtime is open to the public as well. Regardless of ability to approve or deny a request like this, management should at the VERY least know about this existing. Open captions becoming available was something that as a deaf person I was so incredibly excited about but my experience with finding available show times has been about as easy as getting the CC device set up and working right. I get lucky sometimes but usually it's a struggle

I am so disappointed in AMC for even allowing this to be. Managers can get upgrade money I am sure. But this one has not changed anything other then the concession stand to get more food money. And the food is not that great. However, Greenland 2. Awesome movie. The sound system was good and room temperature was little warm.
