I came in for a relaxer NOT texturiser but I left with texlaxed/ very under processed hair so now my hair is two textures which is difficult to manage as I didn't want transitioning hair. The hair cutting is terrible too. I showed Talisha a pucture of ME with my hair in a layered bob and said I just wanted a TRIM not a cut. She lobbed half the hair off in one big move and left me with the ugliest, crude blunt cut that she had the nerve to call a bob. Icing on the cake: I had to pay £80 for this monstrosity and in hindsight I'm kicking myself for paying.It will take me 6 months to grow this out as well which sucks. For hair that's not in the texture or style you want: go here by all means!

So on Tuesday's, if you book a cut and colour, the colour is half price! Which is what I always do. And they also give you a loyalty card which does entice you to come back. I arrived and within a minute was checked in and told to sit in the waiting area. After a couple of minutes my hairdresser came over and discussed with me what I wanted done. As I was going for a cut and colour, she discussed with me what colour I wanted and how I wanted the cut, advising me on what would suit me and what wouldn't. She then mixed the dye up in the back and put it on. Whilst it was on she checked it and massaged it in when necessary and took it off at the right time before cutting and styling it. I was also offered and given tea and water (although there was other options available). The service is great and you really do leave feeling like you've been pampered!

I was impressed from my first visit with the welcome that I received. The initial consultation with Carly, the stylist I return to see, was fantastic. She listened with care to what I wanted with my colour and cut, and gave the results I was looking for. I've returned for a few years now and each time we check in with what I'm looking for now, there's always that flexibility to try something new if I'd like to. Carly understands that coming here is as much about a treat for a worn-out working mummy, and restoring some confidence and self-worth, as it as about the actual hair cut. It's both a professional and a friendly, caring environment. That, and you are always kept comfortable with a variety of drinks and up-to-the-minute magazines. Terrible customer service…read more Now I had my hair cut by a stylist, and the cut was okay, no complaints really. Then I went back in for some highlights, and I did not like the final look. I wanted a stronger look, something a little more bold, but my stylist thought I wanted something more natural. So here I had paid a lot of money, for what I didn't want and I was not pleased. They were going to charge me almost half of what I had already paid extra, in order to achieve the look I wanted originally. I fought this, because it's ridiculous to pay 50% more than I had originally paid to simply get the look I wanted originally. This is where I got very angry, and when a salon, or any service, cannot manage to go above and beyond for you, then that is a terrible sign of their customer service. I eventually spoke with the manager, and she treated me terribly. She basically spoke of how I was in the wrong, and it is my fault the look wasn't communicated well, and thus I need to pay. What kind of customer service is this? Have they never learned the number one key to getting loyal and happy customers is that 'the customer is never wrong'! As a manager myself, I would rather lose £20, get a loyal customer, and then make a huge profit from that customer in the years to come. After gaining thousands of pounds from that customer, what's those £20 anymore... And then after arguing this for another 30 minutes, the last words with her topped off my terrible experience. The manager and stylist came back upstairs, at this point they had lowered the price I had to pay to achieve my look, but I still wasn't willing to pay anything. So the manager and stylist tried one more time to convince me to pay the money, again telling my how this is my fault. Then the manager looked at the stylist and said, "Should we do what we discussed downstairs then?". The stylist said, "Yes". And then the manager said, "Okay, then I'm going to waiver the cost and do this for free." I mean, that just topped off the level of unprofessionalism from this manager, she was just trying one more time to squeeze out some money from me, whilst she had already decided she was going to do it for free, and demonstrated this right in front of me. I was very disappointed with my experience here, I am returning to fix my colour, and solely because of the manager I will probably never return. Which is a shame, because at the end of the day I did like my stylist. But I was not in the wrong, and for a manager to tell me that, and treat me the way she did, not impressed.

I left the salon feeling absolutely great and very relaxed and pampered. My hair looked great- the best it has ever looked and the nicest it has ever been cut. In the past I have had a bad experience at a haidressers but from the moment I met Victoria I felt at ease. Victoria was extremely personable and helpful. The best thing this salon is really reasonably priced too. I have now found myself a new hairdresser.

I was offered the usual drink and magazines, but agree with Michelle T that the junior staff were pretty robotic. I never pay much to have my hair cut, and I consider £50 far too much for a wash and trim, but if you quote 'online 50% off', it's a good deal. I was going to give an 'a-ok' review, but reading Michelle's reminded me that I too got a different haircut to the one I asked for, and that although it worked out well for me, that is not actually a fine way to run a hairdressing business. Because I left with half price snazzy hair I just smiled to myself at the stylist's arrogance, but thinking about it, how dare he make it up as he went along, without consulting me! Also, the receptionist was pretty pushy about trying to make me sign up to a loyalty card, and looked at me as if my refusal (which I had to give 3 times) was weird.
