They helped me out so much during the planning process of my wedding. Helping me pick out colors, center pieces, and all of the decorations for the wedding. They answered all of my questions that I had. On the day of the wedding they were able to get everything set up inside of the venue, so that way I could just focus on getting ready and not stress about time. We also used there catering service for the BBQ food and it tasted amazing. We had leftovers to take home with us that lasted a good few days. All In all i am so glad i used Diamond and Pearl service . They made my wedding day perfect and made it so smoothly. I would recommend them to any bride that wants less stress on their wedding day.

I'm talking I needed four waiters four days before my wedding... oh and let's add that it's on a holiday! Bree was so courteous the first time that I called her. I had actually spoken to a couple other service providers in the area and unfortunately.. it didn't seem like they wanted my business and I felt brushed off. when I called diamond and Pearl services Bree answered the phone and we chatted for about 20 minutes. I could tell she was in the middle of something as I could hear the wind whipping behind her and people in the background. I had told her that if she needed to she could call me back, however she insisted that now was a good time. That meant the world to me especially after being treated so poorly from other companies. I was able to get a quote from her immediately over the phone and within the next few days have a contract signed and paid for. When I called to give her the payment me and Bree ended up chatting for an hour! She knows her stuff! Even though I wasn't using her as a wedding coordinator I would highly recommend her. During our conversation we talked about all the little last-minute things that brides tend to forget and chatted. She is so friendly and personable! The day went off without a hitch and her staff was incredible. I am very grateful for not only her kind words and help during this time but being able to get four people on a holiday last minute for me. It's extraordinary the lengths she went to to make sure that I would be taken care of. I'm humbled by it. The service from Epicures was amazing for our department Christmas party. The two wonderful staff…read moremembers (Christina and Jamie) who worked our event showed up early and were quick to unload and have everything set up food wise. When I myself arrived with other items (coolers of soda, napkins, extra utensils) the two women quickly joined in helping me unload my van and the contents. Before the Christmas party started, food was prepped so it was fresh, neatly laid out on the table, and refilled promptly as the night continued. My boss was very appreciative of the attention to detail when it came to cleaning afterwards, and how quickly everything was handled. Not enough praise can be given to Epicures for how well everything was handled.

It doesn't surprise me that bad…read morereviews are not acknowledged, since nobody from Ovation responded to a direct email about a disappointing experience we had with them during the winter holidays before the pandemic started. I was recently thinking about the upcoming holidays and possibly throwing a party again, so was searching here. When I saw that Wayne responded only to a good review here, it reminded me of how I felt when nobody responded to that email, even though it was a while ago. I want others to beware now that people may be starting to have bigger home parties again. We booked 2 servers and a bartender with Ovation for our home holiday party, which we had thrown for many years using a different staffing company that went out of business due to the owner retiring away from the area. We never even remotely had a bad experience with that company in over 10 years of using them. Ovation was a different story. Three very nice people in appropriate server attire showed up, but it quickly became clear they were not experienced with working a home party. Also, none of them was a bartender. They were surprised that we expected them to serve drinks! They also couldn't seem to get the food prepped and set out on the buffet in a timely manner, despite arriving early, with the same amount of prep time servers had always had in the past, everything being laid out for them, and my helping with things I'd not had to help with in all the other years. They also didn't keep the buffet table replenished or straightened up once the guests arrived. The one server jumped in to help as bartender, but had no experience. I was very embarrassed, given how well our party had always gone in the past. We still tipped the staff well because it's not their fault that Ovation didn't send a bartender as requested, and sent servers to a home party who really didn't know how to work one properly. The day after the event, I emailed Wayne about how poorly the evening had gone (pretty much what I've said in this review with more detail) and never received a response. Not even a simple "I'm sorry," which would have gone a long way. I had already paid and didn't ask for a refund or any compensation. I just wanted Ovation to know that the service wasn't in line with all the glowing reviews I had seen, and for them to acknowledge that things had been screwed up on their end. This party is a tradition that is very important to us, and Ovation embarrassed us, but clearly, they didn't care. Now that the pandemic is easing up, we will book staff for our party with another company. If I had received ANY response to my email, I might have given Ovation a second chance (obviously once COVID allowed) to get it right and probably wouldn't have posted this bad review after all this time. Based on the service we received and lack of follow up, I do not recommend Ovation to anyone who wants to have a smoothly-run elegant event in their home.

But still if it had had one more chop, it would have been more of a better portion... 4th course was the Belgian chocolate soufflé- we both enjoyed this course but I don't think it should have been called a soufflé- it honestly was more like a brownie in a mug type dessert- it wasn't a soufflé texture, more brownie texture 3/5: portion size: DC was delicious but kept you wanting more. Loved the live music and the decor but the chairs weren't comfortable- hard to have hard cold chairs whenever you are having so many different portions to a meal.
