I called the business on Tuesday August 19, 2025 (24 WORKING DAYS after I dropped my vehicle off ) and was told the vehicle would be ready by Thursday the 21st or Friday the 22nd . Friday came and went with no call. On Tuesday August 26th, ONE WEEK LATER, I spoke to Jaime . She told me that someone tried calling me to pick up my vehicle on Thursday AND Friday. But funny... I had No calls from the business on my call log. "Maybe" they used an alternate number ? She then proceeded to tell me that they were still working on payment through my insurance?!?! I then called my insurance and was told there was no correspondence on my account since the first payment in January. So I called Jaime and relayed what my insurance rep told me. She then says I can pick the vehicle up on Wednesday August 27 BEFORE 10. (30 DAYS) TODAY at 8:02 I get a call from Derek of street image telling me they need to push the time to 12:00 because they need to "ALIGN" the vehicle ?!?! What happened to someone "TRYING" to call me on the 21st and 22nd ? I don't know ? "MAYBE" it's normal for body work to take 60-90 days ? But a phone call or email with updates WOULD have been nice. Service dept is terrible, first in Oahu and now in Kauai. Scheduling is only done through the…read morewebsite or an AI bot. It takes months to get an appointment then if you have to change even a small thing, the scheduling bot requires you to cancel your appt and isn't able to reschedule it. This is the most recent frustrating part of this service company. On Kauaʻi, they definitely discriminate against Subaru owners as I have had been in line and had the service attendant take in four Toyota customers ahead of me until finally one of them stopped him and said, she was here first. I've spent thousands of dollars fixing a problem with the data control module and was only able to get it fixed after finding the technicians instructions to fix malfunction online and speaking directly to manager. Both locations were aware of the issues with the module and just kept telling me it was fine even though my battery was dying multiple times a day and it killed both my radio and window motor. The communication is terrible and if they find something which needs to be replaced, for example, a window shield wiper, they don't call or wait until it is time to pick up the car, which doesn't allow you to actually get the problem fixed. If it isn't something easy, you then have to make another appointment, weeks to months out, and bring the car back in. Different versions of this have happened to me multiple times but for many issues, you have to go to the dealer to get them fixed leaving you no choice.
