I arrived today at STARBUDS at 8:30 pm . A young lady walked out of the establishment asking me if I was going inside, I replied yes and she asked me to return in 30 minutes. I asked her if she worked there as she ignored me and walked away. I entered STARBUDS to inquire about what the young woman said, it turns out from the gentleman who checks ID's that the young lady was the manager and decided to leave the business without leaving a sign or a legitimate reason. As a business owner myself I was amazed how she took it upon herself to leave the business and lose business she left her post. I waited a total of 45 minutes as she returned from shopping. Once I entered STARBUDS to conduct business and give them my money she gave me attitude as if I was making her job miserable. I'm really big on customer service but this manager was behaving like a small time drug dealer from the 80's , pretty much she had the power of having a product that I wanted. Just because you are a manager of any business it does not give you the power to be condescending. A clerk at the DMV has a better understanding and attitude than this kid. I'm sure I will return but this kid manager is either related to the true owner or really cares less of the owners business. I only hire people that are responsible in my business, I hope the owner reads this and secures his business with employees that actually care about having a job and protecting your business with the community. It's a complicated competitive game and you want great people working with you not against you. 1 star for the kid manager only because I cannot enter a negative star. read more

I live in the neighborhood and have been going to this dispensary for a while but I will not be returning. I purchased two 7g's and when I got home they weighed 5g each. When I called the shop for some assistance I was given no help or recognition of my customer loyalty. I won't be going back here. One of the girls also told me once that most of the jars are all the same weed. So they don't really carry a bunch of different strains as they claim. The service is good but their carts suck and taste the same. Been trying the exotic, mario , and even the cereal ones. The oil is clear and as you keep using it gets darker. Door guy is way rude to customers, staff not helpful with products, and mediocre selection. You'd think you could just go to a dispensary and have a decent experience but the staff here have no people skills and don't even make an attempt to be friendly or useful. The door guy sits behind a sticker-covered check in window so you can't even tell there's somebody there and he mumbles so you can't hear what he's saying. It's a shoddy setup and uncomfortable experience. Seriously disappointing, like how hard is it to just be chill to customers there to spend $. Don't go here, all the negative reviews are true, nobody wears masks or gloves, they're all rude and if they don't like you they will black list you. I was black listed because the bud tender asked me what time I go into work and what time I'm off work and I said I don't want to discuss my personal shit, which I'm not obligated to discuss that my own mother doesn't even know my personal work schedule, so when I went back the guard said for some reason I'm black listed, he didn't even know why, so I asked who black listed me apparently some girl named "LIZ" is the manager there and they said I was "VERY RUDE" and apparently told them to black list me. As far as I know bud tenders aren't supposed to ask you about your personal life they suppose to talk about the product they are trying to sell and ask the customer how they can help. This is probably the worst shop you can go to in LA when it comes to customer service and quality. Their prices are a bit too high for the quality but the most important thing to mention is that the customer service is shit, idonno who hired these girls but hopefully they won't be around giving starbuds brand a bad name for too long. I can't stress this enough, do not go there apart from them shorting you and not showing you the scale unless you ask them to they are disrespectful and aggressive, if you ask them why youre black listed the "manager" will literally come out and try to fight you for asking a simple question. Not only do I feel attacked but discriminated against, probably the worst experience ever at a shop and it's a shame the employees are taking away regular customers who invest hundreds of dollars in this company just because they do not like someone or someone refuses to tell them what time they go in and out of work. The vibe I got whenever I went in there was that of high school teenage girls who are always in a bad mood and gossiping about who knows what instead of actually working to get good product out and keep customers coming back, they do the opposite of that it's almost comical to think about but at the end of the day this is a company selling goods to patients, there is no compassion or customer service here, theres just bitter teenagers trying to keep their post and they're always in attack mode, it's sad.
