Stopped by this Starbucks at 739 Green Bay Rd right at 5 AM when they're supposed to open, but they clearly weren't ready. The baristas looked genuinely surprised to have customers walk in -- lobby wasn't clean yet and the whole place had that "we're not really open" energy. Not a great first impression when you're relying on an early coffee stop. The drinks themselves were fine once they got going, and the staff was friendly enough, but if you list 5 AM as your opening time, you should be ready at 5 AM. The Starbuck's on Green Bay Road in Wilmette, Illinois, is one of my favorite Starbuck's stores. I have been a customer at this store for more than three years. I find the food and drink, the service, and the atmosphere to be excellent and enjoyable. I have even become friends with several of the employees at this store. The employees at this store always make you feel at home and like you are part of a family. Thank you to this Starbuck's store and its employees for being both a great part of the Wilmette community and a great part of the Chicagoland community. Love this Starbucks! The employees are all friendly to friendly folks. The one thing you have to know is that in the morning and afternoon before and after school, you're going to encounter a LOT of kids ordering their drinks. Many of them know how to act, but some act very entitled with the staff. I always spare an extra smile for the baristas during those times because they're balancing a lot back there. read more

Horrible service very rude employees and they do not have a functional space to add cream and sugar. The cashier seemed like he needed a couple of cups of coffee to wake up. I was not asked my name at the time of my order or what type of coffee I wanted he decided for me! I didn't get cream or sugar so I was handed cream in a very small cup of cream from behind the counter because they don't have a cream and sugar station. I was told to take the small cup of cream and sugar packets to the trash area and mix my it into my coffee by the trash area. And parking is a hot mess like the employees! read more

Great place has free wifi and my kids love to do their homework there. It is a little pricy but I don't mine. Over all it is a great place!!

I have to give a star to leave a review apparently. This was the slowest service, which isn't the worst of it. My husband ordered three drinks so I get that it take time. However the man that was serving us what's actively bleeding on the back of his right hand and wiping the blood away with his hand the whole time while handling our drinks. He was not wearing a band aid, just continued to make our drinks. We left the drinks out on top of their garbage. Just disgusting, pandemic or not. I only come to this Starbucks because it's near my home but the service has gotten so bad so think I will exclusively go to the one on Central. The last two times they have messed up my drink and basically were rude. Cliche NorthShore arrogance and attitude at this one. Utterly confused. Went to the Northfield location that was supposed to be open until 10pm and it was closed at 8:30pm so I opted to try this location that's posted as open until 9pm and it's also closed. What gives? No sign or notice even. Disappointing. read more

This Starbucks is a great place to gather with a large group. The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of open chairs and tables in their lounge area. I appreciate how accomodating the staff member was when I requested to have my drink sweetened, after all, even though I initially opted out of it. read more

Like this location for its: -big windows for bright natural light -spacious store -quietness. Not located in a busy mall or anything, so people don't seem to gather here. It's easy to find a seat and get some work done. -hours - open until 10pm! Not so sure about the: -strange parking spots that are extra narrow and short. Short. I don't get it. But at least there's parking? -demographics. As in, I'm not sure how they feel about people staying for hours and hours to work. Hopefully they won't be too bothered by it... Overall, if they continue to reliably have seats, I'd definitely come here to get work done. read more

Can't warm up a simple donut because it doesn't have a setting for it? As far as I know a good customer service would deliver what the client wants. I guess this Starbucks lacks of a good customer service then. They can remodel the place and everything but if this place keeps having immature kids, who flirt with all the girls, making the lines long at 3pm, then I guess I won't go back to this place anytime soon. Friendly, clean and quiet. I work less than two blocks from here and come here on almost a daily basis. The first time I came here I was on a coffee run and was actually short some change. The guy working the register didn't care. It was really sweet of him and have come back since then. read more

Probably THEE worst customer service in all of Starbuckdom. There's a particularly cold and rude bitter employee working here but i dont know her name. She's rather oldish looking, doesnt smile and worse, she doesnt even call out your drink when it's ready. She does it each time i go and just plops the drink up and wont even identify it. I prefer the plaza del lago but sometimes you just have to have your starbucks no matter what. If you can avoid it, avoid this one. read more

Medium to large sized store with seating but no sofas or easy chairs. It shares a small parking lot (8 spaces plus one handicapped space, a few more spaces on the adjoining street) with a jaguar dealership. It is across the street from the Wilmette Metra station and can get busy in the morning with those commuting by train. I'm used to peppy Starbucks employees but this lot seemed a bit the worse for wear - not so friendly. Not much more to say, it's a Starbucks. read more

This store has gone through a recent renovation and it looks fantastic! There is always a place to sit no matter how busy it is. There also seems to be new management because the store seems to be running much more smoothly. I never have problem with my drink, even though it's pretty quirky. read more

This is probably the slowest and worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Don't let the beautiful interior and smiling people deceive you. They are out to get you. I went up three times to get my croissant that I waited 30 minutes for !!!!!!!! THEY ARE TRYING TO STARVE ME. MESSAGE RECEIVED. All I wanted was my butter croissant, but no. The workers are rude and disrespectful and slow. I am thoroughly disappointed by this as Starbucks is my go to for morning coffee, tea, food, and more. I'm not a regular here but I came in shortly after my birthday and had trouble accessing my Starbucks app to redeem my free drink. The barista comped me the order! Very nice and much appreciated. I'll be coming back to this location more often! read more

I am a Starbucks regular. I love my lattes and only use Starbucks beans for my coffee at home. But today I went into the Starbucks at 739 Green Bay Road in Wilmette. Two of our drinks were made and the barista walked away and never brought the third. When I got someone's attention they brought me another coffee instead of the hot chocolate we were missing. When I quickly opened our other drinks to see if one was a hot chocolate the drinks we had did not look right. Carlos questioned how I would know if they looked right or not. As I only get lattes I think I know. Finally we got the hot chocolate but our other coffees were cold due to waiting so long. When we got home we tasted the original coffees Carlos said were right only to discover they were not. The service at the this Starbucks was awful. I have been a regular patron of Starbucks, but I also know there are other places to go for specialty coffee drinks. Starbucks prides themselves on good customer service. Carlos, you were not even close on decent customer service. read more
