Starbucks has gotten rid of another item ! This time it's the chai! What used to be their best drink is now some cheap version that they have to add simple syrup to which waters down the rest of the drink. To this store's credit, at least the barista warned me that it was bad.She herself said she hates it! I honestly don't know how Starbucks is. Staying in business.They keep getting rid of any reason to go there over a small local shop! read more

Staff did nothing but socialize ignoring guests. They let orders pile up not calling names out when I finally realized I didn't have my coffee, as I stopped in for some quick work. There were 6 other orders sitting there. When I asked why they didn't call out orders the barista rolled her eyes at me. Ordered a carmel frappacino with 2 add shots of expresso. This usually results in extra in the blender and i requested the extra in a separate cup. The trainee initially made it wrong - realized it halfway thru and dumped it. Started on a second .... I watched as she dumped all of my extra paid for shots down the sink. I started to say something- when the trainer walked over with attitude and said "I will pour you another shot and..." i tried to interject saying "id just like whst i paid for". She elevated her voice and said "EXCUSE ME - IM TALKING" the trainee meanwhile was trying to clean off the sticky drippy stuff from the outside of the cup ... the trainer grabbed the sticky cup - put it into a "clean" cup .,. Handed me my drink and walked away. Their prices are going up The service in this store sucks. Theres one on every corner. read more

Ordered delivery from this location and they managed to completely screw up a simple size selection. I selected the "Trenta" pumpkin spice cold brew, got whatever their small is. Starbucks is annoying with rebranding "small," "medium" and "large" into pretentious-sounding options that obfuscate their relative sizes, so maybe I just got someone who doesn't know their proprietary garbage size names either that prepared my drink. Unlikely to ever order from this location again. I don't need a lot of customized options for my drink, I just need the people making it to be trained well enough to read the size information on their own labels. The drink tasted fine, it's just a service and training issue that needs to be addressed. read more

Very busy, and very slow. Also, due to current interstate construction, getting here from the interstate is going to waste five extra minutes of your time, so better off going to a different exit given they're all over the place. One other problem is that sometimes the drive-thru line can end up partially blocking the parking lot entry/exit. read more

Staff completely ignored me even when I walked in and when I Waited for 10 minutes for my beverage that was done, never was asked my name or if I needed help. The beverage wasn't made correctly. I asked for light ice the cup was filled to the lid with ice. As a young adult and a lead in food service I'm very disappointed that people much older don't decent customer service. read more

There is a male staff member who works the drive thru who is always kind, but wears so much cologne that it rubs off on the cup, the lid and any other items you might purchase there. The strong cologne smell detracts from the enjoyment of the coffee and the pastries. Please train your staff NOT to wear strong colognes or perfumes when working in the food industry. However, if you do a walk-in and order food and a drink the past three days it's taken 27 to 29 minutes to get your order. Not the type of person to leave a review at a Starbucks but the lady taking orders was totally out of line. I asked for two iced white mochas and when we got to the window they were hot. This was the third time this has happened. Normally I just put up with it but 3 times in a row ? Come on. I asked for them to be corrected at the window and I was met with incredible rudeness. She said and I quote in the angriest, combative tone possible " I was the one who took your order, you didn't ask for them iced". What was I supposed to say to that ? Ok I guess? Even if I didn't ask for them to be iced (which I did) her attitude was hideous . I work customer service and would never say that to a paying customer. Even taking my order she was acting like she was doing me a massive favor. Won't be back. Take your money elsewhere. Ziggys is right up the street. read more

This is a huge, beautiful new Starbucks location that is a real pain to get to. It's corner store status isn't doing it any favors...you can see it from all directions but you'll probably have to overshoot the store and do a hairpin turn just to get to the parking lot. On the upside, since it's a new store it's one of the few where you can get a COLD FOAM CASCARA NITRO, which is lightly sweet and amazingly smooth. It is by far my favorite drink at Starbucks, ever. It looks like a Guiness but tastes like delicious, smooth cold brewed coffee. It's a great Starbucks location if you can get here without wrecking. read more

We are outside sitting by a SIX LANE highway that god awful loud noise and then, add shitty , wrong music for 8:30 am and it's a colossal noisy sushi on pizza migraine waiting to happen. Pretty bad service namely Catrina we ordered five drinks that weren't too difficult and she openly said I just don't understand that these drinks were on the menu. They were normal drinks like a caramel macchiato, London fog, caramel ribbon crunch, and we ordered one with hazelnut cold foam coldbrew she openly said I don't know what that is in a very rude tone. We got up to the counter. She put hazelnut syrup in it, which was not what we asked. We said we didn't order this and she completely blamed us while we were paying, she made zero eye contact she made zero conversation. She was very uncomfortable to be around and we asked her to redeem birthday points and she was super rude about it never said it went through and completely put the blame on us at least someone came to take over he was super nice extremely helpful, she should not be working front if she cant hear what people are saying that alone took 10 minutes and the londen fog came out gross. read more

Always love this store! Great, hardworking baristas, great drinks, lovely new remodel inside the store. Very cozy. The patio seating looks awesome as well. Home away from home to work, read, hang with friends. I love our applewood Starbucks! Always remember to have grace on our baristas, its a learning game with many drinks to memorize. They're trying their best & kindness can go along way while working in the food/retail biz. Peak hours are 7am-9am but man this store is speedy and efficient! This is one of the busier Starbucks I've been to in a while. I was meeting with some potential clients and had a hard time finding a seat, and then had a hard time hearing one another. The baristas were fast and effective, but I'd recommend stopping by a different location for your java fix. read more

I've put mobile orders in here countless times and they are never ready in the estimated time frame, even if I am picking it up at 6am and no one else is there. Every single time I've been at this location in the last two months (which is at least once a week), there has always been a problem with the staff, payment or service. Maybe I need to stop going around the same time of day. When I got to the window, I asked specifically if I could get points on my card first, then use the last of my gift card (not a lot of $) and then pay the rest on my card. The lady (Catrina) said yes then literally swiped the card and it paid for everything, saying "oh you can't do that". But didn't you just say I could when I explained it and asked? Anyways - I've given a lot of time to wait there and money there but the customer service never seems to happen when I'm there at 7:30 AM each day. read more

They have great employees who make consistently good drinks. My disappointment and lower rating with them is because my wife and I went out of our way to go there because they have a nice covered patio area that looked open. Chairs are out and set up around the outdoor tables. After buying our drinks and sitting down we were told the patio is not open. They said the tables and chairs are set up to make it look like they were open. We're currently in the opening up phase of Covid19 and the Starbucks on W Alameda and the Starbucks at 1st and Wadsworth allows outdoor seating. Why aren't they? I don't personally like to write reviews when I'm upset because I feel like they are in accurate, but my experience at the Starbucks this morning was absolutely ridiculous. I waited for I'm not even joking a full 15 minutes, for a tall pike with heavy cream. My order came out as a grande Trad Misto and I just happen to ask the barista what that was and she responded so rudely to me as if I should know that Misto means steamed heavy cream? Plus Its completely full of sweetener (I watched her pump) it's 100% like milk and there's no coffee. Ridiculous I absolutely hate this Starbucks it's always a madhouse. read more

I have no problem waiting in the drive-through line. The problem I have is incompetence and poor customer service with a drive-thru barista. I ordered a custom-tea latte or basically tea with steamed milk (aka Cambric) and a ice-grande vanilla soy latte. The barista stated the order came to 15 and change. I got up to the window and I stated, I think you overcharged me and he stated he had to ring up the order for the other barista. I was confused. He slammed the drive-thru window to apparently to cover his frustrations or words he did not want me to hear. He opens the window in haste and gives me the new price of 20 and change. I said that does not make sense and he tells another barista could you deal with this guy meaning me and storms off. Congratulations Starbucks, After visitng this store on Saturday December 8th, I will NEVER drink a Starbucks again. The PSL was awfully bitter, the service was horrible. And to the girl making the drinks (big large girl, with tattoos and very short bangs) if you hate your job so much, go somewhere else! I didn't appreciate you throwing our drink towards us the way you did. And whip cream on the side does not mean up get a sample cup and put .01 oz in there. This Starbucks consistently gets my order wrong. Which I don't understand, because I order through the app, so they can look at what I ordered. They've forgotten the blueberries for blueberry oatmeal more than once. They always tell me I can come back and get them for "free." First, I can't come back because I went there before work, and it's not free when I've already paid for it and didn't get it. I have to go back on a later date and hope that they give me what they owe, but it's a pain and sometimes I can't remember if I went back or not. They won't do refunds. Wow! This Starbucks is off their game. It took 20 minutes for an iced chai and a cake pop. Even on the worst of days, that seems a bit excessive. And the gentleman making drinks (a younger guy with dark hair and glasses) was so incredibly rude. He was flat out ignoring every customer who attempted to ask him a question. And when confronted about it by 2 customers the manager (a nice lady with short hair) said, "Yeah, he's just overwhelmed." That doesn't seem like a reasonable excuse to play deaf/mute towards customers. Maybe you oughta move this guy to a different station that requires less of him?
