This is the cutest Starbucks I have visited. I love the old charm vibe. The service was amazing and incredibly quick. I didn't have time to take photos but imagine an old grain building resembling an old white schoolhouse/church from the outside. It has an unconventional drive thru that makes sense with the landscaping vibe on their piece of property. Inside, it is a modern Starbucks esthetic with a rustic old school feel. I could easily spend time here relaxing or working. The drinks were spot on and food fresh and tasted perfect. Wish we were locals. read more

I was just talking to my wife about how Starbucks used to have locations you could hang out at and chat, have meetings, relax, or work on your screenplay about a doomed romance between a zombie and the ghost of a Victorian spinster, and how now they're all designed for takeout and turnover. This location isn't that. In a refurbished grange meeting hall, there is tons of seating, natural light, and atmosphere. The service is above par and it's the only place lately where when I order a dry cappuccino, that ish is made correctly. If you're over Starbucks, I get it, but you should give this one a visit. read more

This Starbucks has some of the absolutely best servers of all the locations I've been to. The drive through is very fast - other locations can get backed up and take forever which is very frustrating when you are trying to get somewhere on time and you get stuck in the line. The food is good and always hot. As someone local to the area I always wanted to see the inside of the old grange building. It was really cool to get to see it. I believe they kept the original hardwood floor and they took the old sign that was on the front of the building and put it in a place of honor inside. It's really cool to see a building that old be repurposed but maintain its charm as a local landmark. read more

The drive thru was busy, but inside not so much. i ordered a drink via the app, and it was waiting got me when i got there. i also ordered from the counter and the barista was really helpful and friendly. everything went quickly, smoothly, and tasted like starbucks quality. there was enough space to work if needed. read more

I'm so over tipping at Starbucks for substandard "service". I've been living outside of the US and the lack of service here is sad... I ordered the same drink for my father that I've ordered for the past 4 months. Today it was $1 more than yesterday or any other time we have ordered it. I told the clerk something was wrong because it was $1 more. She said it's because Starbucks prices fluctuate. I said I had paid $1 less only yesterday. She said, "I don't know..." I asked to speak to a manager. She said she was a manager. When we picked up the order, I asked to see the receipt. They had added a shot of expresso to the Frappuccino. I told her we said to make it with coffee because they sometimes as if dad wants it with or without coffee. She said, "I don't know...". She never even considered the order may have been wrong. I will not buy from this Starbucks anymore. Unfortunately, my dad probably will because those Frappuccinos are a real treat for my 94 y/o diabetic father (when they are made right). Today's $8.50 drink was over caffeinated and was a disappointing finale to his rare outings. read more

I want to give this Starbucks 5 stars because it is in my neighborhood and I LOVE what they did to refurbish the old grange building, which has become a landmark in our little part of town. With that being said, I have been here a handful of times and there are a few issues. 1.) The parking lot looks big but it is spread out so they run out of parking spaces. I have seen people parking in the "Farm" neighborhood. This is going to be a problem for those who have lived in the Farm for years and years without parking issues. 2.) IT IS FRIGGIN COLD inside. I asked, today, why it is always so danged cold (I mean like wear your down jacket cold, it feels warmer outside). I was told by an employee, "there have been several things that have gone wrong so far with the building so I think we are all afraid to turn it on or mess with it". Uh. What? Several customers walked in, got their coffee, mentioned how cold it was, and decided to leave instead of enjoy coffee there. 3.) They used dark blue paint on the walls. It shows EVERY.SINGLE. hair, fingerprint, grease mark, etc. It is actually gross. Although I love the color and style inside, the paint color was a horrid choice unless they are wiping all the walls down every hour. 4.) I get a doppio over ice in a trenta cup at every other Starbucks I visit in the state, heck, Oregon and Cali too. Never once, have I been denied a trenta cup. At this Starbucks drive thru, a pompous employee told me it was against company policy to use a trenta cup. Are you kidding me? So, literally I have ordered this drink over 100 times and this ONE Starbucks says it is against policy? I went to my other usual Starbucks and asked, and the manager there flat out said it was not a policy and she had never heard of that "rule" before. With all of that being said. I want this Starbucks to do well. It is a great little community gathering spot. Although Starbucks is not my favorite coffee, and I wish a local spot would have come in instead, no one else could probably have afforded the remodel. So, I am glad to have a gathering spot close by to my neigborhood. I just hope they can get temperature, parking, and other issues fixed. I will update my review in a few months after they have had a chance to iron out some of the wrinkles of a new business. read more

Such a sweet way to preserve a little slice of history. I've been gawking at this building for the longest time. Dreaming of one day having a chance of buying it and turning it into a storefront for my business but I guess a Starbucks works just as well. haha! Great location with ambiance, friendly associates, and good quality coffee... but their hours are no longer reliable. My guess is that they are understaffed. Really hurts to close in the middle of the day or completely close the lobby. read more

Went to this location and received unacceptable customer service. Spoke to the shift supervisor and store and received an apology from their partner's behavior. Even the district manager offered to get me a coffee , I declined. The shift supervisor explained that they were short handed and got slammed with orders. That isn't a good excuse to extend your arms out in front of you and open your hands and let the pastries drop about a foot off above the counter. Guess she was mad cause I specifically asked for the croissants to not be warmed because it'll be too hot for my kids. That is still not a cause they got my order wrong and had to redo it. As a customer that has going to Starbucks for years it just really deters me from wanting to continue going to Starbucks period. I think Starbucks needs to teach their staff how to handle being short handed or how to handle being slammed with customers.I will definitely NEVER return to this particular store. read more

This is the cutest Starbucks I have ever been to! I love how they decorated the inside, a modernized farmhouse style. Their big, open sitting area made me feel relaxed and happy. There really were so many places to sit and I suppose it's to accommodate how busy this location seems be! My coffee was great and I had no complaints. read more

This renovated grange from 1909 is just stunning. I normally wouldn't review a Starbucks location but I love that they are opening stores like this now. The work they did for this shop is amazing and it is a pleasant place to sit and have a coffee. There is a fair amount of seating, although, it looks like it can get busy as well. The drinks are normal Starbucks consistency and the parking lot is small and unpleasant to be in, but the store itself is great. Good on you Starbucks for preserving old buildings instead of building a bunch of new ones! read more

Good latte (typical for Starbucks) and great atmosphere in the old remodeled grange. But...almost every table was dirty at 10am on a Sunday.

Everyone is super nice and good at making drinks. I've had a couple mistakes with the morning crew making them, though. They put coffee in my mom's (What was supposed to be) hot cocoa and completely burnt my coffee and her unwanted coffee. Twice. Other than that I have nothing negative to say. Not 100% about the store: why does every single location have the same pictures? Lol read more

I squealed when I saw the old moss-covered grange renovated as a beautiful Starbucks ! 30 years ago I moved away from Tumwater and was on a return drive to my childhood home, when I saw the coffee shop! Of course, I had to go inside! Parking was difficult on a Saturday morning, so my husband had to drop me off and park down the road. My almond milk honey flat wHite drink was PERFECT. Now I know what the drink is SUPPOSED to taste like. Kind, friendly baristas, too. Amazing bUilding inside. What an unexpected treasure to find!! read more

Growing up, watching this old grange grow moss, I always wondered what it was like inside. It's prettier on the outside. Hiring a decorator was out of their budget, apparently, so we get blue and tan paint and six or so stencils of leaves. Anything historic, showing the lives of the prairie settlers would be a nice start. Pictures, portraits, old tools or implements hung from walls or the ceiling... Anything would make the difference from boring nothingness to a reason to stay. Coffee is the same as the airport, and just as expensive. read more

More than once have I ordered at opening only to have the staff not be ready and I waited over 20 minutes for my caffeine fix

I didn't feel one bit welcome there. The new manager, Shery, is not at all customer service focused; she was argumentative when an issue was brought to her attention. Being charged the right price for a drink is important to me but apparently not to her. read more

Beautiful location! Love that the Schrader's kept the original building with a lot of unique details! Huge space, great for big groups and tons of room! This will be my new favorite place to come meet with friends! The outdoor seating will be amazing in the summer and there's a huge private parking lot and it was all designed very well and looks beautiful! Great customer service and very clean! I normally love this Starbucks because they are really fast and my drink is never made wrong. But after my experience this morning I will not be coming back until I know who is working in the morning. Normally it has been a guy and he is very nice today I had somebody help me her name I believe was Amy her apron said she was an army spouse. She was very rude in the tone of her voice and facial expression. The way she approached me this morning made me uncomfortable & shocked and I won't be visiting this Starbucks location anymore. A friend was in a car accident in this intersection the other night. While waiting with them to get checked out by the fire department for injuries, the Starbucks crew brought out coffees & cream for us and the fire crew as it was dark and pouring down rain.
