This Starbucks has ALWAYS been so kind to me with every encounter I have made through my delicious orders.

Their weekly crew is the best. But when the weekend comes around, you have the worst ppl ever! Inexperienced, trying to hand you someone else's order, asking for payment when you already paid thru the app and so on. Especially the red headed lady. She seemed very overwhelmed and confused yesterday (11/16/25) At the drive thru. She kept referring to me by several different names and orders I never placed. Please train your weekend crew appropriately and teach them to turn that frown upside down. Other than that, I love your Monday thru Friday ppl they are the best and the bomb. read more

This location was booming with customers, and for there to be 5 baristas on staff. I found it mind boggling that only one was actually making all the drinks. Ok sure, I don't know what all their jobs were. But I feel if two more joined in on making the drinks, the wait times would be alot shorter. It's the morning routine, in line it's my turn... YAY! The employee walks up, puts two sides in front of my car and turns around and walks off... I was like WOW!! I pull out of line go and park my car get out of my car go to the front door, all the doors are locked people inside.. peeking in the window, feeling odd! Finally, someone's trying to leave the building they're pushing all the door, confused! They unlock the door exit the building I go in the building approached the counter and the girl says oh I'm sorry, our systems are down. We cannot take any more orders.... I replied simple communication would have been great instead of blocking me as I was entering the lane to make my order.! Any other Starbucks I have ever been to, there is an employee standing outside discussing with people the issue from the inside! It was disgusting and tasted off as this is not the first time, I have had this drink. I kept thinking it was me until I took the lid off, and I couldn't believe what I saw. I did return back to the same Starbucks, and they prepared a new drink without hesitation and explained it was probably bad milk or expired whip cream. What's crazy is that milk does not go in this drink, and I requested NO whip cream. Last time I went it was ok, the lid wasn't secure when receiving the drink but the drive thru is not well designed. Very small and doesn't promote parking which is very limited sadly. read more

Ordered on the app to pick up. Get there-the inside is closed. So I wait in the drive-up lane for 15 minutes. Needless to say my drink had been made for a while, so by the time I got it it was melting and the whipped cream was melting. And today was 1/2 price day!! Strike 2 for this location. Strike 1 because they "remodeled" and took out any place to sit, including outside. They said it was because they were so busy they needed the room but I didn't notice them being any faster. You cannot see food options either. Starbucks Ts about getting free refills of coffee but that's out for this location. Wonder if that's what they wanted. The drive through entrance is designed awkward, and it is hectic during the morning flow... This is the only Starbucks in Texas City, and the LaMarque area... I will say, my encounters with whomever is on the drive thru mic, and window, have been exceptionally outstanding. Always cheerful, makes eye contact, and talks with a smile. The extra 12 miles it takes to get here is worth it. read more

So I just really need to brag on the Tx City store today, Ty, Jay, and the wonderful woman with dreads that she's always too busy that I'm too timid to stop her flow to ask. Of course there's more staff there doing a great job too but the aforementioned individuals these are the ones I see on a super consistent basis. Of course it's a Sunday, after church times, etc.. it was busy. Well there was maybe 30 people in the store plus an overflowing drive thru line. And the team was truly turning over orders. No one in sight had a complaint, but Ty was still proactive and came around making amends. The wonderful woman always working the Mobile Order Well was in constant communication with patrons and they just deserve some recognition. There were some customers who began to complain when I left, and yes... Un-caffeinated individuals usually have the grumpies I get it. But clearly, they're going literally as fast as they can! Ugh this place turned into the worst! First let me say that the barista didn't know how to make a matcha tea. There was so much extra powder in my drink it actually made me sick. But most importantly this narcissistic company has turned this once nice location into just a drive-thru only. They "remodeled" to remove all the tables, chairs, and bathrooms. The only thing you can do here is pick up a coffee. Starbucks has gone too far in making decisions that only benefit their bottom line. I wish I could give zero stars. I'm so upset this morning. I spend A LOT of money with Starbucks! I drink it multiple times a day however I will be searching for a different company to give my money to. I always order a Trenta cup with 4-5 shots of expresso and ice so I can pour my protein shake in it. They refused to give me what I ordered! I've NEVER had this problem. If I'm buying it then why does it matter! WTF? I can spend my $20-25 a day somewhere else! Not cool Starbucks! read more

Love this Starbucks. The staff had always been friendly to me and helpful. The drinks are always really good and quick. The place is clean and friendly. It's only faults are that there are not enough places to sit at a table and plug in and it's kind of hard to get to if you're coming from the other side of the road. ;) read more

Every time I have been there it is really dirty, chairs are sticky, tables dirty, roaches, floors filthy. They NEVER make the drinks right and you have to wait for them to remake it while you watch. Parking is very inconvenient. Coffee always taste burned like the machines are not cleaned right. No surprise there considering how dirty it always is. Horrible. Food was ok. Visited the restroom... both of them to find no toilet paper in either room. Asked the manager how often they were serviced. Shew informed me 2x before 7am and again at 11am. I find it difficult to believe that they have been through 4 rolls in 20 min since it's now 1120 am. Manager dismissed my question with a "we'll get to it when we're get to it." Very bad attitude. Usually a decent experience, nice staff..but for some reason the newest people don't get watched well while training this has happened multiple times I'll request a quad shot and they don't measure properly and the extra shot ends up on the lid..it's a mess and waste of money. Starbucks in Texas City? Absolutely! This is a smaller store as Starbucks' go, but it's fairly new and up to date. Nice restrooms. We were pleasantly surprised to find them open on Christmas day, a great way to get our holiday journey started. Friendly baristas. They also have prepared sandwiches and other snacks. read more

Local Starbucks love hate relationship. Love Starbucks as a company, love my favorite drinks, love the usually chipper pleasant staff. Hate that it's not uncommon they are out of my fav drink but to be told only once I've reached the drive through window. Frustrating... forcing to choose something I really don't want. If it's not one of the more customer service oriented staff... my inconvenience would not be handled as professional as it could have been.
