Went inside to get my normal drink and snack. The gentleman taking my order was very rude and kept cutting me off while ordering. Waited 20 minutes for my drink while 4+ people in front of me got their drinks and left. I'm not one to complain but I've been going to Starbucks for quite some time and I get the same drink every time. However, I'm getting a little ticked off when I'm paying extra money for things like extra Caramel drizzle and extra cold foam and then them not doing it. I also order online so they have enough time to get my order correct before I get there. I also always put line the cup with caramel but they never do it. It's just getting a little old. Interesting to stop in this store this morning and be behind two maskless women in line for coffee. The cashier served them without question and didn't even bother to ask them to mask up. When I questioned the cashier about not enforcing the policy posted on their doors and walls, she said they have no way to enforce it. Wow. If they can't follow and enforce policies in place to keep customers safe, what other health and safety refs are they blatantly ignoring behind the counter? This store is the absolute worst Starbucks I've ever been too. I've been to different locations all across the country, even downtown Chicago has better locations than this. Staff problem: The people who work at this location couldn't care less. You'd think it's because they're college students, but some of them look well aged beyond that. I've seen someone at Walmart be friendlier. This attitude bleeds over to their overall service as well. Wait times are very very long and you can see it in their actual sense of urgency. Walk in and start watching and listening the employees... Very rude and petty, and they move slow as molasses. The drive thru problem: The city has actually had problems with this store and not being able to control it's drive thru line causing possible car accidents. Stupidly, customers are deciding to stop their cars in the street to wait in line. This applies to both sides of the road too. They also aren't very accurate, because they are constantly busy. This causes a lot of problems to drinks and customers are quick to get angry as a solution is hard to get with the long line problem. I also think that having masks on, and taking an order over a intercom probably doesn't help either. Then there is the mobile order situation: Look - I can see other stores on my app. I see they are always up and I can order from them. This applies across Oklahoma. Enid, Edmond, OKC, Midwest City, Norman... Yet, some how, there just happens to be an "error" at this store specifically every, and I mean EVERY, single time there is a promotion. I don't buy it. They are shutting the mobile orders off to avoid further lines and further orders. That's fine and dandy, if you'd be honest about it. This store acts above its community and above the customers it serves. I think that means it's a management problem. Time to shop local. These actions that I've witnessed over the past several years that I've been an off an on customer of this location have actually led me to be a primary customer of Aspen coffee. I've been a Starbucks gold card member since they used to send the cards out. I used to drink Starbucks daily when I lived in DFW. No more. The slowest coffee shop I have ever been to, and possibly the most poorly run business in Stillwater. It doesn't matter what time of day, you will wait a minimum of 30 minutes to get your order, with lines becoming a regular traffic hazard as they spill out on to Hall of Fame. I'm shocked the nearby hotel and city allowed it to get this bad. I'm not sure if the staff are just slow, or if management refuses to properly staff the store, but the wait times are absurd. I understand that COVID protections might be slowing things down, but if the nearby aspen drive through staffed by 3 part-time college students can get orders out more efficiently, you've got a problem. It's too bad that my least favorite Starbucks is located in one my favorite towns to visit - yes there's only ONE Starbucks in Stillwater (??) . The wait times are generally double what you would expect and this store is always out of something - always. With that in mind, don't even try to get a drink on gameday! Remember two sentences ago when I said they are always out of "something?" I was in town Sunday on a family road trip and dropped in for a drink. I ordered a venti frap and the cashier told me they were out of that size cup. "No problem, just make me a venti and put it in a trenta cup." I was told they can't do that because people will go add milk and get a free upgrade. "OK, fine, pour it in two grande cups. I don't care as long as I get the Venti." I was told they can't to that either. I wasn't mad but I was getting irritated and realized that the cashier wasn't allowed to make customer-service decisions so I asked for the manager. Surely she was empowered to pour a drink into a larger cup! After some whispering with the cashier, the manager came to see me and I said "I just want a venti frap, if I promise not to add milk will you pour it in a trenta cup?" She replied that it was company policy not to do that and she would get in trouble. "But you're out of cups so there's no room for an exception?" Nope. "You're the store manager and you would rather lose a sale than provide customer service." Company policy, she said. Don't get me wrong, she remained professional through the conversation, but I am shocked the store manager isn't allowed to make a small customer service gesture like this. So what do we do? We headed down the road to Aspen Coffee where we were greeted with smiles and exceptional customer service. Sunday, I got a large Pike Roast but when I got home I realized the coffee was cold and likely brewed earlier that morning. I called in to let them know and make sure nobody else received cold coffee. The manager, Aubrey I believe, was apologetic and offered coffee on the house for my next visit. It's a Starbucks nothing super special about it. It is a popular college student hang out to do homework and such so it's usually got people hanging around with computers and such. The drive thru is the biggest mistake here, the drive thru can back up to almost Hall of Fame Avenue it also chokes off traffic for the Hilton hotel next door that shares the same entrance and parking lot. read more

This store is great if you love waiting 30 minutes for a drink! That always happens to me if I go inside, as opposed to the drive thru. I once waited 45 minutes inside the store for a plain latte and an iced tea. No apology from the barista. And my latte was made wrong. The manager doesn't field complains and generally doesn't care about how badly their store is failing. Drive thru isn't much better. The parking lot is so small that it's always a hassle to get in. And baristas will most likely forget about your drink if you order it from mobile. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this store. Aspen is so much better in terms of quality, speed of service, and customer service. This Starbucks specifically has made me quit Starbucks all together. read more

Let me start off with I love Starbucks and I am a regular of the franchise. The Starbucks here in Stillwater is awful. I have gone here twice in the past two days. I ordered 2 Spinach and feta wraps, and what did they give me? A cold croissant with mushed spinach shoved in the middle. For all of you who normally enjoy this entré you know that it is not a croissant. Today, I ordered a marble cake. It was served to me frozen. The piece of cake was literally rock solid. I am disappointed that the employees here do not understand how to deliver proper food. If you are planning on eating or grabbing a coffee here, be aware that you should check every item that was ordered for there is a very high chance that you will not be given what you paid for. 2/5 stars. Love this location during the weekdays. If took over 20 minutes for a mobile order on a Saturday morning. With only one individual making the hot drinks. It wasn't until I inquired about my mobile order that a second individual started helping I'm making the hot drinks. This was after the response was "we have your mobile order we just have a really really long list before yours." The people are really nice and the environment is very comfortable 5/5. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. This is the worse Starbucks location. The line is always out in the street probably because only two workers are doing anything while the rest stand to talk to each other. When you stand at the ordering station they stare at you about 5 minutes until one of them decides to take your order. I tried to stick it out since it's the only location in Stillwater, but I can't stand it anymore. The idea behind these mega-chains is consistency. No matter where you go, you are supposed to get the same experience. This Starbucks does everything right The service is friendly, and I've never had a problem here with anything. Once they comped me a drink because they misunderstood my drink order, which they didn't have to do. My only complaint is the location, or rather that they need another one for the west side of town, but that's about it. I think Stillwater can support more Starbucks. A lot of people like the local chain but their hours are not commuter friendly [or at least not for *this* commuter] and sadly their coffee just doesn't taste as good to me, so I'm willing to drive a little ways to get Starbucks 2-3 times a week. read more

It's a great Starbucks in a great city. They stay as busy making drinks as the original in Seattle and they stay cool about it. The parking is tight when it's full, so overflow parking is an option at the Food Pyramid. And frankly, if the Starbucks is too full, I'll go to the OTHER STARBUCKS 200 meters away in Food Pyramid. The drinks are made well, and most of the staff is friendly, but on my last visit the girl working the drive thru was yelling into her headset to a customer. The customer didn't speak English very well, so he probably should have come inside, but the worker also should have asked him to pull forward so they could help him. She was rudely telling him that he was holding up the line and that she couldn't understand what he was saying, while asking the other baristas if they could understand him. She was being pretty loud. She took off her headset and said she couldn't deal with that customer, and asked someone else to man the drive thru. She ended up helping him at the window when he pulled up, but was still kind of rude. If someone is a foreign exchange student, yelling at them that you can't understand them isn't going to make their English automatically better. I was standing at the bar waiting for my drink so I saw everything. I hope she was just having a bad day - if not, she needs to find another job. My roommate and I decided to go get a Pumpkin Cold Brew today (the day it came back) and ordered on the app and picked up in store to make it easier for everyone involved. When we got the the store (face masks and all) our drinks were not ready because they ran out of cold brew. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but the barista more or less told us that she was going to make it with iced coffee instead; we had already paid for the cold brews over the app and didn't get even the difference (or anything) back. This is not the first time (or second, and probably not the last) I've ordered on the app and received a much cheaper item with no compensation. We then listened to the other baristas make fun of a drive-through customer while we waited for our drinks. This was the worst part for me and the reason behind writing the review. This Starbucks location is usually good with good customer service. Yesterday, my daughter and I went for coffee around 10 am and it was pretty empty. We stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. When I asked for extra cream in my drink I was curtly told that I could put the extra cream in myself. I paid and that was that. No thank you for coming in or anything. The barista was great and our drinks were great after we added our own cream!
