This is the closest and most convenient Starbucks according to where I am located. However, it's just an extra 15 to 20 minutes to the 2 or 3 that are located in Cookeville, TN. I don't know if it is because the one in somerset is newer, or if it is because there is only 1 Starbucks besides the one in Kroger, and if u been to one in Kroger.... The things they have are limited. Anyway, their service slow more times than not; even when you order ahead. I really don't feel like they follow the recipe to the drinks, or pay attention to the ingredients that the customer wants or does not want their drink. The employees are very nice and I believe they do best they know how; I know how fast paced and overwhelming it can be, especially when everyone decides they want Starbucks at the same time or back to back!!! I think if there was another Starbucks in Somerset, KY or in a surrounding city/county; that one Starbucks wouldn't be so swamped and there would be less room for mistakes!Regardless, I absolutely love Starbucks and there's almost nothing that would make me stop going. I love Starbucks in general so much!!! if they mess it up or forget something I just go back to them and ask them to please fix it. I mean, I hate to be that person but I like it the way I like it the only thing that could make me not go to Starbucks anymore is if the price gets increased anymore than it already has, but with the economy the way it is... it's part of it! No matter how bad they mess it up, usually it can be fixed. They are really understanding and super nice at this location, especially when I am 'THAT PERSON' who ends up going back to have them fix it or to just add the whip cream they forgot... Our Starbucks is the absolute best. Nearly every barista is top notch and so friendly. Most of them take the time to get to know you by name. Some will even take the time to remember and cater to your preferences (I like EXXXXTRA cold foam). The store is clean and neat and the building really adds curb appeal to our town. Ordered two venti iced peach green teas, ended up with two venti unsweetened iced green teas, no peach.

Would've been 20 minutes early to work had I not sat in the Starbucks line for 30 minutes. Because of "training "I work in the food industry if the trainees can't be up to par, they shouldn't be actively participating. My gas range went down 4 miles eventually I just turned my car off. I love this Starbucks and all the employees, however the new manager, Nicole, this store has hired is the most unfriendly person, and honestly not the best manager. The first time I noticed her, she sat in the corner of the store on her laptop for literally 3 hours while the store was decently busy. I mean she was GLUED to this thing. She would get up every so often to help, I'm assuming when someone finally asked over the headset. When she does help, she seems extremely overwhelmed or inconvenienced. It looks sloppy when a manager is doing nothing during a rush, especially from other people in the industry. My second experience with her, I came through the drive thru. There were 3 cars in the line, including me. Her introduction was speedy, and she told me to wait. No problem! I'm sure the inside was busy. When she was ready to take my order, I asked how her day was going. She said "fine, thank you" and didn't ask how my day was. Whatever, but a little rude, you seriously can't be that busy. She seems to have a habit of making people think they aren't worth her time. I work in food service so I always think it's really special when a customer takes time out of their experience to ask me how my day is or how I am. I found it strange she blew me off, but it's not the end of the world I guess. Coffee was yummy as always, but her warmth towards customers is sorta lacking. I do want to brag on Macie. She always goes above and beyond for me and makes sure everything is perfect. Emily was also amazing and I was very sad to hear she was let go. A huge shame, she was lovely. The entire staff is super friendly and welcoming, the manager could ask for some pointers perhaps. read more

Shift supervisor Britney as she is called was very terrible at costumer service. She was saying bad words behind the counter saying that she didn't care if people had to wait for their drinks. She was even yelling and being rude towards a costumer I felt so bad to. I will not be coming back to this Starbucks. read more

Absolutely one of the best Starbucks I've ever come to, and will keep coming to. The staff is always nice and always fast on making drinks. Mobile pickup for my drink is always ready and waiting when I get there whether in five minutes or 10 minutes away. Never have gotten a drink that tasted horrible or made me want to throw it away. they always make it correct and exactly how I like it. My only complaint is the prices I mean can't really judge this place because they don't control it. It's just annoying sometimes having to pay almost 8 dollars for a chai latte but no big deal I swipe my card anyways. read more
