This place is amazing, a true experience right here locally. The food is always fresh and prepared to order. The place is warm and very inviting. A relaxed family atmosphere The servers are always so pleasant and attentive. You must try the Chili and the Caramel Apple Crumble Pie is so amazingly delicious and will make the perfect. The tomato soup is the best ever, so Don't miss out! First rate in all categories, highly recommend and will be back.

I was crazy excited to stop in seeing we are not from KY.. We unfortunately got there the last day of season and it was slim pickings. $10 for frozen cider which was good.. our hand pies were ok as they fell apart for some reason and not sure what the heck the "gummy bears " flavor was. I thought they would apple but they were inedible and tasted like stale wine if that makes sense Would have though things might be discounted due to the last day..but they were not.( I would have bought multiple DELICIOUSLY scented candles..the black jar if so) $35 for the candle was a bit steep. The staff was lovely..impressive knowledge of the area and history. I think fall is the time to visit here.

This is an excellent place to take small children to play. My 3 year old absolutely loved it and he gives it "5 stars!" Rating from him. The store and restaurant are also great!

For cuteness, this place is a 5. For the rest, though, it's not as impressive. We stopped by on a Monday morning, so I was a little bit surprised that they were even open. Maybe the staff was just grumpy after a busy October weekend? They had a huge selection of country store-type items. I have the feeling, though, that only the apple items were actually grown and packaged here. There were hundreds of items that had the Haney's labeling, but I don't think they were actually local. The selection and variety of apples was impressive, though, and my kids were certainly fans of the cider. Prices were very high! For a gallon of apple cider and 5 fried pies we paid $23! That's crazy, right? Right? The lady that rang us up seemed annoyed that we were here and she was short when telling me where to find the cider cooler. Maybe the 7 kids that I brought in with me were causing the grumps. Sorry.

I believe that they have fair pricing - we bought honey sticks, apple butter and1 1/2 gallons of fresh apple cider for $20.

We were very disappointed, especially since we had already bought advance tickets online. They offered us a coupon for next weekend to make up for it. I would much rather have had my money back. We decided to look at the pumpkins they had out and try to pick from those. Honestly, the selection was not good at all and I didn't find any I liked. We looked around their little market and didn't really find anything. We thought about getting some apple butter but decided against it. The place looked pretty run down and sad. Maybe they are struggling right now with COVID? I'm not sure but I felt a little bad for them. That's why I didn't demand my money back. Maybe I was expecting something like Huber's in Indiana. It was nothing like it. I doubt I'll ever be back, even with the coupon for next weekend.

They take us on a hay ride, explain all about apples and how they grow, pumpkins and what they need, what kind of things grow in the ground and on trees. The kids were thrilled to pick their own pumpkins from the field, see how apples are sorted, taste apple cider, and get to play in the very nice play area. Everyone is so friendly, and it's not crowded at all. Highly recommend for school trips as well as family trips to the pumpkin patch. They also have an awesome little store filled with good stuff.

Lots of meat samples were available, including beef sticks, jalapeño cheddar beef patties, and ring bologna. It all tasted amazing and we purchased some of the cheddar beef patties as well as two packages of the beef sticks. The showroom itself has a rustic, down home feel to it and the staff is extremely friendly. We felt more like friends than customers. There is a nice selection of beef, pork, lamb and chicken in the display cases. They stock a wide variety of meat sticks in many different flavors. All are reasonably priced. I was delighted to find sweet Lebanon bologna, something I haven't found in Kentucky yet. After making some selections, including a beautiful lamb roast, we made our way to the counter. There, we discussed with John their whole and half beef offerings, and their whole hog and lamb offerings. Prices on these bulk purchases are VERY reasonable and they provide grain fed and grass fed options. Grass fed options are expectedly a little more expensive. Claire showed me a steak cut from their grass fed cow, and I have to admit it was nicely marbled and a beautiful deep maroon color. It appears they age their beef perfectly. We took their fliers and will be back early next spring to purchase our 2026 meat supply. These folks also process over 4,000 deer a year. They provided me a free sample of their venison sticks. They were delicious! Due to the fact that this a Mennonite, family run business, I wasn't sure how they would feel about pictures, so I didn't take many. Honestly, pictures are unnecessary. These folks run a solid, quality family business, selling quality meats at reasonable prices. Come check them out for yourself. The store was clean, smelled good and had a down home ambience. Parking was ample. The business is handicap accessible. One thing to note. These folks are way out in the countryside, along a dusty country road. Follow the signs, and you'll eventually arrive. You'll think you're headed the wrong way. You're not. The signs are accurate and will lead to the place where friends "meat". After visiting this fine establishment, there are lots of other small family businesses to purchase your produce and bulk foods from in the immediate area. This place is situated in very scenic Kentucky countryside. I am happy to give these fine folks a five star rating and plan to continue to make the hour drive to visit them for our meat and poultry needs.
