I couldn't decide between two coffee drinks, so I tried both the Breve and the Cafe con leche. If you are looking for something creamy and delicious for the coffee taste do the breve. If you are looking for the same thing, but with some sweetness do the Cafe con leche. You can't go wrong with either choice. For food I ordered "Daryl's Chorizo Bowl" I don't know who Daryl is, but I am loving that chorizo. It has a base of eggs, covered with chorizo and a hint of cheese, onions and tomatoes. The drizzle of zesty green dressing and microgreens brings a freshness to a usually hearty dish. Staff was friendly, but it is laissez-faire vibe. You take your dirty dish (clean by the time you are done licking up all the deliciousness) to a rack at the back of the shop. To go boxes are placed by the utensil cart. Easy in and out. Did I mention they sell candles and other goodies (and I am not talking about the mouth-watering pastries or crepes) Overall a great place to visit in such a cute town.

I was a little disappointed they were out of their seasonal drinks but the cashier explained other options! I'm solely giving it 4 stars because I didn't like the taste of the coffee but ambiance was good- lots of space to work, service was friendly and they had tons of different latte options. Personally I won't be back since I didn't love the taste of the coffee!

The ambiance is flawless as you will see locals enjoying their coffee as well as police officers having breakfast. Has the atmosphere of modern day cafe coffee culture and is a great before the day meeting spot for coworkers or colleagues who just want to relax before work. There is a nice mix of business professionals, a few tourists, as well as locals in the area, and some people outside with their adorable dogs. I really enjoyed the coffee and cookies from this place. Do get there early morning and enjoy your morning coffee here as the pastries can sell quickly. It's a beautiful location and there's plenty of parking nearby too. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The pastries look freshly baked and delicious! This is a pleasant surprise and wonderful alternative to the other mainstream coffee shops. Highly recommended this place as the prices are excellent too for the quality. Will definitely be going there more often. Give them a try. Customer service is very helpful and friendly.

Being retired I can go anywhere and take my time. We just came to this center to have breakfast…read moreand a coffee drink. The day was beautiful so I wanted to sit outside. There was a gentle breeze, the temperature was in the 60s and I didn't experience noise or bugs. The service is excellent. They were quick and efficient. The dining area is quite spacious and despite being a peak morning period, there was more than enough places to sit. Ambience was nice with background music but not a lot of noise from patrons. I wanted to sit outside to be mindful of the surrounding. I watched a cloud move moderately quickly across the sky. My drink was excellent. I could taste the cocoa and coffee very distinctly. Perfect temperature. My bagel sandwich was good. Perfect temperature, but I presume it is premade not made in house. My wife loved her cappuccino so much she acquired two. She also got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant. I liked the place since it had a nice variety of choices to eat and drink. There were bottled and canned drinks, also, in a glass door refrigerator. I don't live in the area but I'm here for fun for a couple of weeks. The center is nice and peaceful and very reminiscent of old world Italy (in which I have been). There are pigeons but not as many as in the old country. Definitely give them two thumbs up!

To make it even better, the baristas suggested a Valentine's nod to a Strawberry Latte, made with their own homemade strawberry syrup. It was the perfect balance of sweet and refreshing, and I loved that they took the time to walk me through how they make their syrups from scratch. The staff here is genuinely kind and thoughtful--they made choosing a seasonal drink feel fun and personal. Anytime someone sells me on a homemade treat, I'm in, and Mercato delivered beautifully. Between the cozy atmosphere, creative drinks, and warm service, this is exactly the kind of spot I'll keep coming back to.

A little European escape... just 2 hours from Atlanta If…read moreyou're looking for something different without hopping on a flight, check out Old Europe Coffee and Desserts inside BridgeWay Station. The entire area is designed like a small European village stone buildings, archways, towers... it honestly doesn't feel like South Carolina. What stood out The dessert case alone will stop you in your tracks. They had: cakes, cheesecakes, and eclairs macarons, cookies, biscotti croissants, scones, and pastries breakfast sandwiches + quiche It's the kind of place where you go in for coffee and end up wanting a full spread. Drinks + pricing Full coffee menu with everything you'd expect: espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, chai, plus some fun seasonal drinks like chocolate strawberry and s'mores-inspired options. Prices felt fair for a specialty coffee shop, not overdone. The vibe This is what makes it worth the trip. It's not just a coffee shop -- it's an experience: great for a date solo coffee run content/photos or just walking around with a drink You can grab your coffee and actually enjoy the space instead of rushing out. Worth the drive? From Atlanta, it's about 2 hours so I'd treat it as a day trip or add-on stop, not just a quick coffee run. But if you like: unique spots good desserts aesthetic environments ...it's definitely worth checking out.

The only bakery cafe kind of place in this locality and had to say it was nothing like the reviews…read moreactually described it as. THE FOOD: We did try their Chocolate truffle cake and hot chocolate. Was initially confused between Tiramisu and Chocolate truffle cake and the staff there suggested to take the Chocolate truffle cake. It was not good at all. To be honest it looked like it was taken straight out of the refrigerator after storing it for the whole week. Very disappointing. Even the tiramisu looked like that. Seemed old and not so fresh. The cake was bland and there's not flavor in anything. Definitely my taste buds were in good shape that day! The hot chocolate was kind of okay. Nothing special about it either. Not sure what's so European about that either. They did have a good collection of macaroons but cake options were limited and slightly over priced IMO for the quantity and quality. AMBIENCE & SERVICE: The bakery tries to be rustic and is kind of decently lit. It's actually very cramped and all the tables & chairs were not arranged as we walked in on one side. The other side had a lot of tables overlapping and no place to walk into even if you found a place. They then started to arrange the tables and chairs on the other side probably after 6 PM in the evening. Not sure what's stopped them from arranging it earlier? Didn't see any cleaning going on either. The staff there seem good but look a lot careless or disinterested or out of touch with the work. Paper towels/ napkins were hard to find and when asked for they just hand over one sheet/ slice of paper napkin. Like really for a table of 3? I would try not visit this place as the quality is very average in terms of food and ambience. BOTTOMLINE: A sub standard bakery cafe with decent options and variety serving bland 3-4 days old cakes that doesn't have to be this pricey within a cramped space and a lackluster service. Nothing against anyone, just was super disappointed with a basic "not fresh" cake. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Avoid if possible!
