This is my second time ordering from this Starbucks Coffee Shop location today. I was served by Rene the barista. I ordered one thick piece of Strawberry Matcha Loaf with Strawberry Icing and one Grande size Mocha Cookie Crumb Frappuccino. This Strawberry Matcha Loaf is a very moist cake with pistachio flavor with a delicious strawberry icing on the side. I highly recommend ordering this delicious dessert. The Mocha Cookie Crumb Frappuccino has a generous amount of whipped cream topping, fully loaded with cookie crumbs in ever sip , a drizzle of chocolate syrup, the Mocha Frappuccino flavor is very refreshing and decadent. This beverage is perfect for chocolate lovers. Rene only took about 15 minutes to prepare my Mocha Cookie Crumb Frappuccino Beverage. This Starbucks Coffee Shop Is very welcoming with their friendly customer service and their eating area was very comfortable. The radio was playing inside this Starbucks Coffee Shop. I'm extremely disappointed by the way I was treated during my recent visit. My drink was made in the wrong size, even though I had clearly requested a specific size. When I politely asked for it to be remade correctly, instead of simply fixing the mistake, the employee became rude and dismissive toward me. I unfortunately don't remember her exact name, but I believe it started with "AZ" or "AY." What was especially disrespectful was when she asked me, sarcastically, whether I needed her to teach me how to order at Starbucks. I want to make it very clear: I have been drinking coffee every morning and have been a loyal Starbucks customer for years. I have been a customer of this brand for longer than she may have even worked there. Being spoken to in that condescending manner was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I simply wanted the drink I had paid for, in the size I had requested. As a paying customer, I should not have to feel belittled, disrespected, or insulted for asking an employee to correct a mistake. This experience left me feeling genuinely disrespected and disappointed. Is this really how Starbucks trains its employees to treat loyal customers? My mother and I went in and ordered: - a double chocolate brownie (not warmed up) - tall Americano with cream - tall strawberry açai lemonade light ice - and an ice water The first thing that went wrong was they warmed up the brownie; simple mistake no problem we tell them and I get a new one. Then my mom gets her drink and that was good I get my drink and it looks like there is tons of ice so I look at the label and it says "add ice" I tell my mom and show her the sticker. A nice barista overheard and said she would remake the drink. My mother also inquires about the ice water we didn't get. The barista told my mother to ask for the water at the front next time, we did ask at the front. I got my drink remade took a drink and it was way more sour than usual, I look at the sticker and it was the same cup as with the first drink. I don't know if she just poured ice out or if she poured the drink out and added more lemonade I have no clue. All and all I would recommend going to the Starbucks in the target across the parking lot and if you see Sam working at the ordering station to walk out or prepare for your order to be wrong. read more

I rarely Yelp, but I had such a fantastic experience that I felt like I needed to leave a review! On my way to work, I set a pickup order in-store. I get there, only to find out that it wasn't ready yet. An employee, Sarah (in case there's multiple, this Sarah has short hair), comes up to me and asks what my name is so they can check on my order. As I'm showing them my confirmation screen, I realized that I sent the order to my old local store in NorCal (I JUST moved to San Diego, so I guess the app defaulted). Sarah immediately gets the attention of their coworkers, who take a picture of the order screen on my phone and get to work. Sarah then proceeds to have a full conversation with me as we wait. My drink and food are ready within a few minutes. A possibly disastrous situation (either not having breakfast or having to show up at work late) turned into one of the highlights of my week. Shout out to all the Starbucks employees that helped me get my order in a timely manner despite my mistake, and especially to Sarah for checking in and being so incredibly kind!!! 10/10 will be coming back to this location :) read more

I always order ahead thru the mobile app here and when I come in to pick it up, it's never ready and I'd usually have to wait 5+ mins PAST the estimated pick up time... and today they ran out of one of my favorite drinks: Caramel Brûlée Frappe. Today, I waited 10 mins past the estimated pickup time and asked where my drink was and they said someone must have taken my drink by accident. She quickly made my drink, the Caramel Frappe, and it was soo freakin bland... I didn't taste it until I had already pulled out the parking lot. Another Starbucks with lots of space but with ZERO tables. Where are customers supposed to sit nowadays? ZERO TABLES means, "You are not welcome here, but we'll take your money." I handed her a reusable personal cup, but she didn't ring up my order as a reusable cup. (If you bring a clean reusable personal cup, you're supposed to get a discount and bonus stars. On the way home from my dogs Vet appointment, I dropped by Starbucks to give them a little treat for doing so well. I ordered the pineapple passionfruit refresher and two puppucinos, this Starbucks is a lot more chill than most Starbucks I go to. There were plenty of seats for students or people who need to work at more quiet location. They also had a good amount of seasonal cups, when I inquired about the ornament cups they were very informative about where I could possibly get them. The service was really nice too, the baristas were friendly and I got my order so quickly, my pups loved their puppucino and I thought my refresher was okay. It's not the barista's fault, I just think the combination really tasted artificial to me. About two weeks ago me and my boyfriend came here to get some coffee before going to the park and it was an awful experience.. I was so infuriated that I ended up not getting anything at all. My boyfriend was waiting outside, using the wifi, and I happened to be taking a long time, and the manager comes bustling out and told my boyfriend she was calling the cops on him loitering without even knowing we were about to buy coffee. I see the same set of old men who sit out there every night, and I'm pretty sure that just because they bought coffee doesn't mean they can bring their own foldable chairs and sit outside where my boyfriend was standing for HOURS. This location served me up a good product, but I thought service could of been friendlier, except for the young lady who greeted me when I walked in. Anyways, I had a Cafe Misto and cinnamon coffee cake. The cafe misto came out pretty good and looked good in the to "here mug." I was initially told that I could not get a mug, but I politely told them that I would wait for them to wash one, and that's when I received that annoyed look from one of the other employees, but not the young lady who greeted me when I walked in. She was nice. The misto was well made and had a nice smoothness about it and tasted good.The coffee cake was good. This Starbucks is close to the gym where I go, but not the closest to home. They open a little later than my preferred location, but sometimes I need that cup o coffee on the way to workout. Workers are without attitude, and they seem to hire more mature baristas in general here. Clientele is a mixture of retired folk, post office workers, police, and navy personnel. The college grove postal center is just a few doors down. The navy housing is just a couple blocks away. Normally there is at least 2-3 people in front of you to order, so it can be pretty busy. 95% of the time i just get the house dark roast, so I'm outta there in minutes.
