I tried this location for the first time. I always pass by it and it always seems busy. I went through the drive through. I'm the third person in line. 20 long minutes later I inquire about the Promotion they offer for if it's your birthday if you get a drink discounted and/or free? I have not ever once in my life have done this sort of thing. The barista named Patty seemed very rude. She told me rudely that it's for Starbucks members only. Okay no problem. I have been a member. Problem is the Starbucks app when putting your birthday in, it doesn't let you change it once it's submitted. I've tried changing my birthday because I put it in wrong, sorry I'm human and make mistakes. So Patty the barista asked what drink I wanted and didn't even ask what size I wanted. She automatically gave me the smallest size - short which was almost $7! $7 for a small and tiny cup of coffee. I went on my actual birthday and I was ready to give my license to prove it was my actual birthday. No. Wasn't asked for it. Wasn't told anything including happy birthday. $7 and a free tiny cheap sticker. Just terrible customer service. I work in the Hospitality industry where customer service should always be great and superior. Now reading other reviews of this location I can see why it has such a low rating. 0 out of 5 stars. I will be taking my business elsewhere to Dunkin Donuts that has better coffee and you can get a large cup of coffee for about $5-$6. The Starbucks app also needs to be improved. 5 star service at the Rincon Starbucks! The drive-thru moves quickly. My drinks are always made perfectly. The staff is always nice! I place a lot of orders on the mobile app and never had an issue with the length of time that I wait or quality. I tend to customize a lot of my orders (sorry baristas!) and they're always perfect! Every time I come to this location I have a pleasant experience. When I go through the drive thru it moves quickly and my order is always correct. When I have make a mobile order, my drink is always ready! When I have gone inside to order, the employees have always been pleasant! Everyone always looks like they are working hard. We stopped by this Starbucks on the way out of town and made an order. The order was wrong as in the cup had the right drink but they made the wrong drink. (We know the difference between green tea and black tea). Then we rolled through with an order of green tea and black tea and they were out of black tea for the night. It was 2 hours before closing. It takes 5 minutes to brew (guess how I know...). They were just too lazy to brew any more for the night. It's Starbucks so you are going to stop here for your coffee, but don't be surprised if the order is wrong or they just don't want to make more. read more

Our drinks were correct, however, the ordering process was not great. We went through the drive through and the barista who took our order, had incorrectly placed it. When we corrected her, she did not reply. So we repeated ourselves. "I heard you" with such a tone of disrespect. My loyalty to Starbucks overrides my desire to use this location. They are absolutely incompetent and haven't gotten a drink correct yet. The person on drive thru doesn't know their shot counts, drinks, and doesn't actively listen when the order is being placed. It is absolutely frustrating when you wait ten minutes just to order and then have the drink incorrect after you finally get them to correctly input into the system. Pull it together. read more

The coffee was fine, the atmosphere was fine. The person who took my order was helping me as I described a drink I wanted, and someone else, probably a manager, stepped in and said "so WHAT DRINK can we get you", implying that describing what I wanted wasn't good enough, I needed to figure out what their drinks were, and order that. There was no line, and the barista helping me was doing fine. I don't know why he stepped in to take over the conversation, but it irked me, so I won't be coming back for a while. read more

The scervice is very slow & they hardly be open. The coffee is good but over priced. Half of the time they don't have any of the items that your looking for. It seems like they are closed every day. Although they are short of staff. Management should be better. We understand that you are trying but the service should at least be better. Legit the slowest Starbucks I have EVER been to in my entire life. Be sure to spell your drink out to a T or they will undoubtedly mess it up. Ask for soy and they'll probably give you almond milk or ruin the rest of your day with diarrhea by giving you regular milk. Should I check my order? Sure. Do I want to have to doubt your ability to do the job YOU applied for every time I go there? Pass.
