Went to this Starbucks this morning and was the worst experience we've ever had. Savanna who seemed to be the Manager was rude and condescending, even to the point that she said she was having a bad morning and just trying to get through it. I guess customer service is not her area of expertise. Only one cream option, half and half. Other Starbucks offer low fat and soy. Sit and watch this crack team of amateur baristas .. No one washes their hands! Baristas loudly discuss birthday plans, the manager conducts business at one of the tables, did I mention nobody washes their hands!... Adjusting hair, clothing, utensils are rinsed, not washed. No bar towels in sight, baristas use their aprons to wipe their hands after rinsing items. Counters never wiped down. Milk kept out on the counter... File this one in the same category as safe sex, people. Most of the customers here are drive-thru, so they are spared the alarm... read more

I've found the best way to give myself something simple but a nice treat is to take a visit to our local Starbucks. I've started coming in at least once a week for a beverage and even to treat a coworker with a drink as well! It really can make all the difference in someone's day to start off with something, whether it's one of their delicious Refresher drinks or any of their coffees, especially their Frappuccinos! Yum! Oh! And not to mention their food pies nicely with their drinks too! Every staff member I've had contact with at this location has been so friendly and always make my drink perfectly as ordered. I've downloaded their app in recent weeks and have been using that more frequently and highly recommend using it also. I've been working on my health lately and it's a nice way to keep track of my calorie intake. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, you cannot enjoy your drink inside, but you do have the capability of ordering/picking up an order inside or by drive thru, whatever your preference! Staff is friendly, but OMG the music is far too loud in here! I guess they want to chase the customers away. If I want a dance party, I'll go to a nightclub in Portland... I come to Starbucks for a little coffee and a little conversation. The latter is almost impossible without shouting at each other, raising the overall noise level. Music in a public space should provide ambience -- too loud and you make a space that is hardly welcoming to everyone. read more

Drinks are good but customer service was lacking. The girl taking orders in the drive thru on 11/26/21 at 11:30 am was rude and snippy. We asked for cheese bagels and she said she didn't have any. Instead of offering what they do have, there was silence. We asked what bagels she did have and she said just plain, so we ordered 3 plain bagels. She asked if that was all or if we wanted them toasted with cream cheese? And we said yes and she said "well that's how you're supposed to order them then." She then asked if we wanted anything else and I asked for her to not be so rude, which was met with more silence. We then ordered our drinks. The girl at the window was very kind and did her job well. The girl who was taking orders this morning needs a few days off and some customer service training. Visited this location quite a few times and have never been dissatisfied. Always friendly, personable service. Adequate time to receive my order. And if there ever was an issue, they rectify it immediately. Went in today to take advantage of my free breakfast sandwich offer. Had a bacon gouda artisan and it is very tastey. Also ordered a mocha and it was perfect for this dismal rainy day. Great local shop. Definately will be returning for my caffeine fix. read more

I've been in Prineville for 4 weeks and have been avoiding Starbucks. First, I can get Starbucks somewhere else. Second, Prineville Coffee Company is local and service is super friendly. Drinks are also good. So why'd I end up coming here my last week in PVL? I wanted a bonus star. hahaha. Sucker. Me, not you. But maaaan, I wanted to throw my drink at the baristas today. I ordered through the phone app so I can quickly get in and get out. I get in the shop, and there are about 4 (or even 5!) baristas just standing behind one of the cash registers. There are two customers sitting at tables working on their laptop. It's not busy at all. Yet, no one has the time of day to say hi or ask if they can help me as I stand by the cash register. I'm trying to get someone's attention, but they literally are avoiding eye contact! I have super powers. Am I invisible? No, they just chose not to acknowledge the customer. Finally get eye contact with the drive-thru barista and have major staring contest. What does she say? "Oh. Someone will be right with you." I tell her I'm just hear to pick up. One of the other girls walk past me, completely ignoring me still. The drive thru girl had to stop her and tell her I'm here to pick up. "Sigh" SIGH?!?! Did she really just sigh at me? Grabs my already made drink and hands it to me and walks away. Ooooo gurrrrrrl... i'm boiling at this point. See what you have to endure to get the damn bonus star?! lol. Stupid star. I literally left this Starbucks with tears streaming down my face. Not only were the employees so rude, but they also shamed me for wanting soy milk instead of almond. That was the first straw. Not only that, but they forcibly branded me with the milk steamer. I felt as if I was going to die. One of the workers also could not find a straw or blender or anything, and started to stir the drink with their entire hand. The drink spilled everywhere, and I'm pretty sure the bandaid from their hand was left in my drink after. After they gave me my drink and I began to walk out, they started chanting at me. Visiting Prineville from Portland I was floored at the disrespect put off by a Starbucks employee (Mikaela I believe was the name) - disrespectful to not only the customers but to her co workers. I can't imagine her being hired anywhere in the customer service industry, let alone Starbucks - who I believed held themselves to a higher standard. She repeatedly rolled her eyes when asked anything. I ordered an iced green tea latte.... and a green tea lemonade was made. When I told her that it was wrong, she held up her finger, pressed her lips together, starred at me and said "okay" like I inconvenienced her whole entire life. I asked an employee for the rude baristas name and the gal knew immediately what was going on, she said "I'm so sorry if she gave you any problems". read more

I love Starbucks, I really do. I'm not sure if this one is just short staffed or what but service is super slow, the place is pretty dirty (an employee slipped and almost had a work comp claim from liquid spilled on the floor) and my drink is wrong just about every time. All I ever get is Americanos with cream. Not a tough one.. just seems really disorganized and a lack of training and direction. It seems to have an effect on the attitudes there as well. I'm not sure my "bonus" stars are worth the wait or frustrated attitudes of the baristas. read more

Love this Starbucks location. They workers are always super friendly. Last time I was in the amazing David offered me a sample of the French pressed Sumatra coffee and cheese Danish pairing. Which was soooo amazing. Definitely will be returning (probably tomorrow haha) to get a full sized Sumatra coffee and cheese Danish. He also taught me about the French press which now I need!
