It's a Starbucks, you know what you're getting by walking in with food, drinks, and layout; guaranteed place to work with outlets and tables. But this one in particular has great service, at least on the early morning weekends. Though they're just little things it made my day. This is my second day in here catching up on work and the barista remembered my drink from yesterday. Yesterday I had barista walk my bagel out to me instead of calling it out by name. When they ask how you are it just seems more genuine here instead of robotic at other places. My early weekend mornings become a bit more pleasant when I'm greeted right as a walk through the door and my drink order is remembered. Went through drive-thru here on way to the Cascades. Service was nice but my refresher was packed with ice. There was more ice than the drink. Nine bucks for two cups of ice is a bit much (husband had a strawberry refresher). More drink, less ice please. read more

This Starbucks has a drive thru or you can park and come in. I love going in because i like this place, and I've sat and used the internet for projects as well. I love it here. Great atmosphere and great staff, great service and great drinks and foods. Get your chonga bagel early though cause they always sell out! Their scones have too much sugar on them for my taste but they always make a perfect chai and when they dropped my bagel once, they gave me a bunch of free goodies to eat to make up for it being the last one. Will always return for that alone! They really take care of their customers! read more

I stopped here three times on my weekend getaway in Sandpoint and each time the staff was the friendliest group of people I have ever met. I love starbucks I mean who doesn't but I don't visit them often because I find myself getting drinks that are made way to strong or way to sweet and staff that seems rushed friendly but rushed. Ponderay's Starbucks is nothing like what I described above their staff every one of them is welcoming, friendly and so helpful. I have never ordered a drink from here that I have not been pleased with, everything is well blended, not too strong and tastes amazing which tells me that they train the staff here very well which does not surprise me at all. The sitting area is beautiful and huge a very nice place to grab your coffee and computer and get some work done in a very welcoming and warm environment. read more

Great location for Schweitzer trips or trips to Canada. In fact it is the last Starbucks until you get to Cranbrook, BC. Baristas have been friendly and accurately make the variety of drinks my family orders. Drive thru too if you don't need a bathroom or leg stretch. read more

I am giving 4 stars for my drink having to been made 3 times to get it right. The new barista was very nice and trying make my special order. The barista working with her ( Tomi) was making sure she got it correct, which I really appreciate. After the second one just a little off Tomi made it all over just to make sure it was perfect!! I so love when one cares enough to make sure my $5.00 drink is the way I asked for it. Thank you. One of the worst experiences I've had at a Starbucks. A simple order made wrong one thing after another, and actually ended up leaving with a "corrected" skinny vanilla latte, that had NO COFFEE in it. Made it wrong the first time by giving it to me iced, when I ordered it hot and didnt even recieve an apology when I politely asked the barista to make it a hot drink. Not to mention we didnt get any straws for the iced drinks we did order. Probably wont be giving this starbucks another chance. Service was nonchelant about any errors to an order, un-apologetic and acted like we were crazy for wanting what we ordered. read more

always go here after a good or bad day at work. my favorite place to go and I enjoy everything I get even tho I am an incredibly indecisive person. today when I went my friend had just had her last day at work so I was sad and decided to get a drink to cheer me up. the girl at the drive thru was so kind to me. she was blonde, had a striped shirt, started a convo with me, and put to hearts on my drink. The big problem with this Starbucks is that there is no Recycle bins to recycle the lids nor the cups. Besides that it's a very roomy and spacious Starbucks. read more
