One of the most famous Starbucks locations. Definitely 10/10 on the decor but quite crowded! Came here to get some work done but every seat was filled. It's hard to order then get a seat, so I walked around for a while with my drink hovering to find a spot lol until finally I found a chair in the corner that I could sit at. Luckily my laptop was charged because there weren't really outlets available. The work from a coffee shop concept isn't quite the same in Paris, and I have found Starbucks is one of the few places you'll find people sitting around all day with their laptops for wifi. Coworking spaces and anti cafes are more popular here but very expensive. Starbucks is a great choice, but in popular locations, seats will be hard to get. I wouldn't choose this one if I needed to get work done, but grabbing coffee with a friend (if taking it to go is a backup option) is a great idea! The inside is so beautiful. Otherwise, I'd make sure to get here early for a good spot, but even then, you'll have other guests hovering over you all day. read more

These workers are so rude. I heard rumors that the Parisians hate Americans, but they didn't heat my food up because i'm a tourist? When I asked, she said let me ask. Goes back to her manager, he popped his head from the back to look at me, and says no, we don't do that. So that toaster in the back where I can see it not being used is for display? I was so nice and tried what little French I know. I would try harder, but my flight wasn't supposed to be here so I didn't anticipate French! People are so rude here and this just affirmed the feeling. read more

Like the Starbucks I encountered throughout Paris, getting an iced quad espresso tended to take the barristas back. Eventually, however, I got what I wanted each time and it was generally after I had been walking for many hours and it was a good stop. This one like the others had horrible wifi. read more

Beautiful Starbucks but the workers are so rude!!! Very unfriendly and unprofessional, I just don't get it. Bad attitudes all around too. The bathrooms are DISGUSTING. One didn't even work it was filled to the bring with nasty stuff in the toilet, the other bathroom was wet all over the floors with soggy toilet paper sticking to the ground, and to top it all off, no toilet paper so had to get out and get it from the other bathroom not in use. Despite these shortcomings, the interior is really beautiful. It's just a shame because this should be an amazing Starbucks experience but it wasn't. read more

As a Starbucks barista from Seattle.. you must go visit this Starbucks! Obviously it's just Starbucks but the interior of this particular one is absolutely amazing!! The baristas were nice and made our drinks correctly! The seating area was very spacious but very packed! So stick around and some one will eventually leave. We live in Seattle the home of Starbucks Coffee Company have visited their original store opened in 1971 located at the historic Pike Place Market (visit when in Seattle). I also spend many hours in my local Newcastle Starbucks (see reviews) with my personal cup (gift from my daughter) savoring drip coffee writing and chatting with friends. Travelling frequently we always find "our new" Starbucks whether in New York City Honolulu San Diego or Paris where we just returned from holiday in the floods rain cold and snow. No worries as we discovered our new Starbucks and many wonderful warm street cafes of Paris. This trip we stayed in a beautiful Airbnb in the 9th A in Place du Eduord Vll near Le Opera. Arriving by cab we noticed a small typical Starbucks nearby...all set. Looking online for it we discovered another Starbucks a few minutes away across from Le Opera Metro. Perfect our new found coffee house (larger cups than cafes) would serve as our daily starting off place. The next morning I bundle up and head out to find my new living room with my wife to follow "soon" after her shower and make up. After walking a few blocks I see my favorite sign cross the Ave Madeleine and voila I'm home in my new Starbucks open from 7am until 10:30 pm (Parisiennes like to sleep in a bit). The store located in an older building has an all black front (rare) with a large open welcoming entrance. As I enter I see my familiar scene busy baristas hissing expresso machines and the smell of good coffee and even better pastries. With their broken English and my very limited French I somehow get my finely handcrafted beverage and headed up their short staircase with a wheel chair lyft next to it...nice touch. WOW! You're going to want to see this. Their big lobby and two smaller sitting areas are elegantly appointed in Rococco style. I could feel Napoleon in the room. You will find large black verigated gold columns with ornate gold Roman tops and bottoms large mirrors beautiful crystal chandeliers painted ceiling murals color and art. The rooms are a simply stunning visual treat. My cafe au lait avec croissant magically tastes even better. Featuring Google Wi Fi there were little banquets with faux marble tables cosy little alcoves (Paris is romance) and a nice long study table handily featuring lamps overhead and several laptop power and charging stations. Locals dash in and out pick up their cafe heading to the office. Others file in and find a comfortable spot to enjoy their coffee warm up and start the day. By 10am the place is packed. An older Frenchman searching for a seat joined me upon my invitation. He and I enjoyed the company and chatted the best we could. Unfortunately he went on about his day before my wife joined me. Fluent in French she would have loved the conversation and the opportunity to practice. When my wife a student of the French Revolution and Rennaissance history did arrive she loved their splendid period decor. After warming up waking up and filling up we'd head out to enjoy the streets people historic sights and experience Paris. We highly suggest that when in Paris you add this Starbucks to your tour. needed somewhere to hang out before our hotel check in time and this was the perfect spot. i will say it's not the cleanest. bathroom had no toilet paper and tables weren't clean. nothing unexpected from a starbucks. 5 cheese toastie was really bad. if you're an american tourist trust me don't get it. it was a really weird cheese. everything else was fine though. i liked the ambiance, blueberry muffin, and banana loaf. they were also nice enough to give us hot waters for free (begrudgingly lol) read more

it was a little store on the corner, 2 floors, and a dog sitting at the gate. the four of us were exhausted after a whole day's visit to Louvre, so we stopped by, had a drink and rest. I ordered a lemon tea, extra-large. perfect for thirsty me! really enjoyed, especially when it was served with many many ice. read more

Why would I give a five star to a Starbucks that - takes forever for you to get your drink because of the long line - nowhere to sit - does not take Starbucks card (they do in London!) Simply because they made the best caramel latte i've ever had in my life. Honestly, I don't know what they put in the drinks here, but both my bf and I agreed that his capuccino and my latte are one of the best we've had at all the starbucks we've been to around the world. Other worthy notes: - the guy who helped me was extremely nice and friendly - the actual place is beautiful IMPORTANT After you pay, don't leave the line...stay in line as it moves towards the drinks counter, give them your receipt, and they will give you your drink. Nice Starbucks. I always get good service here, and of course the coffee and food are as good as you can expect at any Starbucks, since it's so homogenized. There's a lot of nice seating with a few of the street, but it's sooooo crowded, there are usually no spots left! And there are no parks or anything nearby for you to take your coffee to. I mean, I suppose you could walk down to the Louvre, but....you'd probably be done with your coffee by then! Clean bathrooms, yay! Today, Iolanda embarrassed herself and Starbucks. After showing COVID vaccination cards, she rudely insisted on a QR code, which is not available to all foreign travelers on short stays in Paris. We asked for "take away" to avoid any trouble on dining in and she agreed but continued to argue that we were a "problem. This escalated to her threatening to call the Police. A patron waiting for her beverage apologized on behalf of "Paris" on our way out. The French are wonderful people just not Iolanda who must be miserable at home. Well, it may be a bit better here than the average coffee shop in Paris (the Italians got it all right, what are the French thinking? Seriously, pastries that good and they can't make a cappucino?!), but nonetheless, totally not worth it. It's just another overpriced starbucks.
