They have a decent selection of pastries and even a few tables inside so that you can sit to enjoy your beverage before catching the train. This is a good thing, because there really aren't that many other places in the station to sit. My favorite drink these days from AMT is the "Palomino". It's a small cup with two shots of espresso with a little bit of steamed milk. I call it "go juice". Excellent stuff and it saves all the empty calories from a massive bathtub-sized latte with just as much caffeine. A pretty good buy for £1.60 (about $2.50). The baristas are super efficient and even if there is a queue (unlikely at this station), it moves very quickly.

You can have your soup as it comes or with croutons added to it. You can also have chunky bread to dip into it if you want. As well as soup they do a selection of coffees and also some muffins and cookies. This is a really filling, healthy way of having lunch, and you can eat in or take away. The prices are reasonable when compared with other outlets, and the soups are very tasty and all cooked with natural ingredients.
