Mediocre at best, and I'm not sure would pass a health inspection given that for the time I sat there I saw it being handled without gloves or properly rinsed containers more than once as well as the two other "baristas" (heavy set ponytail, another with ponytail and arm tattoos) FAR more interested in their 1:1 conversations than basic cleaning between drinks and moving the orders. Service? -10 for the above reasons. More than once I've sat there I've seen the two ponytails far more interested in their side conversations and gossiping than moving product. Easy to spot them chatting about customers and the delivery drivers waiting thanks to their whispering, quick glances at the subject of their gossip and then back to whispering. My son delivers and I watched how they flat out ignored every driver who came in, BUT snapped right on it when their friends and family came in to say hi and further delayed the orders waiting to move. Less talk and more action needs to be a phrase drilled into these two. Apparently the manager had the day off, or knows and just doesn't care. Do yourself a favor and order coffee from somewhere else. What you'll get here is less than middle of the road, and probably been handled with bare hands or unclean utensils. Your drivers sent here deserve far better than to be treated with the unbridled contempt they display for them while they're waiting for your questionably made latte too. Overall? Zero to -20. Order elsewhere. Like outside the chain elsewhere. Starbucks couldn't care less about quality and customer service and this location is a prize winning example proving that. read more

This Starbucks is down the road from my usual Starbucks stop. I needed to go to the Title Bureau near by but also get some work done first. Parking was fine and it was easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I walked in and had no wait - which is always a good way to start the day. I ordered my usual - large decaf. Unlike the other Starbucks, this location had to do a pour-over. Fine - but apparently someone else had ordered a decaf and I had to wait for theirs to be prepared before mine. All to say - it took much longer than I would have liked if I had been waiting to take it to go. But since I was not, it was not a big deal. The decaf was much stronger than the other place. NOT COMPLAINING. It had a really good flavor which I enjoyed. It was nice and hot too - sometimes when coffee places have to do a pour-over, it ends up not being very hot. The seating was good and wifi was perfect. The music and noise was bit loud, but not too bothersome. The barista was very nice and overall, it was a good experience. read more

However, the two stars are after countless times of this location replying with "We're out of that" when I try to order a food item, being handed my drink with it spilled down the side, and the total slowness. (Do NOT come here if you are in a hurry.) But, if you aren't hungry for a food item, have napkins at the ready to wipe your cup when you get it, and/or fancy a friendly chat at the window while waiting a bit for your drink, then this location would be just fine for you. read more

To be very real here, this Starbucks has the WORST parking. A huge downside to the place when you have a difficult time getting in and out of the parking lot because there's not enough spots. Luckily, this shop has some saving grace: the service and wonderfully clean bathrooms. Anyone who knows me knows that I am a sucker for a clean bathroom, and it makes my heart happy that they're unisex single stalls! Thank God for privacy and lack of gender necessity for availability. This Starbucks is always clean and is pretty good about refilling supplies around the store, as well as being quick about the speediness of your order. There are a few people who are not prime examples of friendly customer service, but I am able to forgive when my drink comes out relatively quickly. Their drive thru is accurate and pretty quick on response time as well! A good selection of single, doubles, and multiple tables on the inside as well. Spacious for a newer location! They're pretty busy during certain hours of the day though, so don't expect a spot if you go during a premium time. read more

I thought foolishly that if I went in I would get efficient service....nope. Yes it was busy but I watched the drive thru clear out twice, people ordering and leaving after me....got my Danish but no drink.....had someone ask me 3 times my name and what I was waiting for then said oh...I found it...then she is going to make 2 drinks before you....watched her make 10 drinks...yes I counted....now its been 20 min and I have 10 min before my appointment which was a mile away....thankfully. I'm gonna be honest, I am stoked about this new Starbucks location! The lot it is in has sat empty for YEARS. At the corner of Lorain and Dover Center seems like a prime location for a Starbucks....but really, let's be real....any location is a prime location for a Starbucks LOL I may be a bit biased. But hey, more coffee for me! This location has such a clean and modern feel to it. Much more so than many of the new locations. Clean lines, darker colors and very 90 degree angle-esque. I gotta say, I love it. The inside is full of natural light. Lots of windows and a great flow makes the inside shine. Boasting a full menu, a good selection of snacks and retail items as well, they really thought hard about his place! No gender neutral bathrooms would be the only downside I can see to this construction. I love the amount of parking and the traffic flow of the lot as well. A great drive thru that will do super well packed with cars on a busy day. With both entrances and exits on Lorain and Dover, it makes it super convenient to get too. A moderate sized patio out front with a handful of tables will make it a perfect place to sit on a sunny day! It took us a bit longer to get our drinks than it should have, hence my 4 star rating. Workers at this location are nice. Parking lot is awkward and the seating area is not as great as it used to be at the old Lorain rd location. Good variety of hot tea and sweets in addition to the normal coffee drinks. I also really enjoy the hot white chocolate. read more

I went to this Starbucks the day after my birthday during my trip to Cedar Point. I picked up an Ohio mug (we collect those) and went to the cash. I'd gotten a free beverage for my birthday on my app. I went in excited to for coffee and was NOT greeted by the stone-faced blonde cashier (older lady...like me lol). I pulled up my app and she didn't bother to say good morning, much less happy birthday when she saw the message on my iPhone screen. I thought that was just rude. Everyone knows you like to live up your birthday to the fullest...this visit was like having someone pop your balloon. I visit Starbucks pretty often, but due to the rudeness of this visit and another in Toronto, I am looking for other coffee options. I ordered my regular Venti blond roast and omg... I usually slurp this down in less than 10 minutes, but the burnt taste. I couldn't even finish it. So, the lackluster greeting, failure to say Happy Birthday (which I consider a big deal), burnt coffee and not even a thank you when I purchased the mug left a bad taste in my mouth...besides the horrid coffee. As an ex-partner I have never seen a store ran so poorly. I have heard too many stories on how the manger will yell or give attitude towards the partners. It seems like there isn't enough barista on the floor or placed in positions properly to help the floor run smoothly. My drive thru experiences here have always been fine. It's the service inside that has never been perfect. Today I waited almost ten minutes for my second coffee in a less than busy shop. Another occasion with a friend a few weeks ago was less than pleasant when his cold brew that was ordered with no ice came with ice. These things happen but the angry barista who addressed his issue was not what I have come to expect from the chain. It is always an unreasonable wait inside. I hate to give negative reviews. Keep in mind that this is not based on the service, because the workers were friendly and what not. This review is based solely on the product itself. I went in and ordered the S'mores Frappuccino (6/6/17 at 4:30pm) and when I got it and walked outside and took a sip it tastes sour bad. I thought maybe this was just the whipped cream (it was not) the coffee tasted sour (keep in mind last year when Starbucks had the S'Mores Frap I ordered it numerous times; so I know the taste). I went back in to inform the shift supervisor and she said it may be the marshmallow in the cream, and I told her that I had it before and this was sour compared to the many times I had it before. She offered to make another beverage for me. I ordered my go to order (Green Tea Frappuccino) and left. I get in my car and took a sip, and it was sour too. I decided not to even try going back in, because they were either using a different milk than normal or they were using sour milk. It is depressing that this was my first visit to the new location and it served sour beverages to me. I just went to a different location and it was fine there. Sad for a first experience to say the least. They received 2 stars instead of one because their service was good. read more

The locations in North olmsted Ohio on dover/Lorain rd. and clague/Lorain rd. are terrible places to buy lunch or breakfast. They hardly have what you want and nearly always coming up with excuses not to serve sandwiches that they have to heat up. One excuse yesterday was "our oven isn't ready" Today's excuse was "we don't have it". And problems like this are consistent and you would think that Starbucks would hire responsible employees to take care of their business. I will never ask for their sandwiches again. I finally stopped by the newest Starbucks location in town, and it's just OK. The employees and product (Vanilla Bean Frap and cake) were very good, but I really liked the older, longstanding location by Columbia Road and Lorain Road much better. For starters, the parking lot was not as big and the nice cozy fireplace area they had is now gone. The layout was better at the old store too, and I liked the outdoor seating area much better there as well. It had a nicer view of the large lawn in front of the store as well as the cars passing on Lorain Road, while the new store outdoor patio feels cramped, with a view (and smell) of a busy intersection just a few feet away. The older more enjoyable location seemed more like an 'old school' Starbucks, whereas the new location seems a bit contrived and generic. I just don't feel that motivated to go to the new location anymore. read more

I have a remote job so I often come to this Starbucks to work and enjoy a drink. The location is clean, quiet, and I've always been able to find seating near an outlet. And more importantly, the service here is outstanding! I have been here MANY times, and have found the staff to be incredibly kind, courteous, and polite each visit.
