There are quite a few Starbucks shops at the Santiago Airport. The first one we passed had a very long line and none of the "you are here" mugs. I had some time to kill before my flight and walked around the terminal. I happened to find this Starbucks at the very end of the terminal by gate 26.
Aside from a wider selection of merch, they also seemed to be a bigger and faster operation. There were quite a few people in line, but it moved quickly and the workers were friendly.
They have the usual Starbucks drinks but I'm always intrigued to find that the food is different at Starbucks in other countries. They had fruit cups, yogurt parfaits, beautiful pastries and even a burger.
There was also a big seating area behind the Starbucks that looked inviting. At 8:45am, the seating area was rather full of Starbucks customers. I also thought it was interesting that the McDonald's nearby wasn't open yet. read more
