This location is conveniently located across the street from The Breakers Resort & beach. It was so nice to get two warm blueberry muffins and coffee before heading down to the beach. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile and a good Morning. They fixed my order rather quickly and I was in and out in no time. The location was within walking distance of where we were staying, so it was our go-to place for something caffeinated in the early morning hours. Service was decent and the location was very clean. Drinks were made really well, and everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. Lots of pastry options in the counter display, probably because we were there so early. Looks like there is a lot of air-conditioned seating too if you need to get out of the heat for a while and just relax for a bit. read more

Haven't been to Starbucks in a long time. Had no choice today. I walked in and tried to order a Macchiato. Apparently if you want a macchiato without loads of some form of corn syrup, you need to order an "espresso macchiato". What other kind could there be? The espresso was mediocre at best and the milk wasn't freshly steamed. You people call this coffee? What a joke. On the plus side, staff was friendly and obviously pitted me for not knowing how to properly order a macchiato. My attempt to explain what a macchiato actually is, fell on deaf ears. read more

im a barista from another Starbucks and this is not a good location. The staff is very nice and do provide that sense of community that Starbucks aims to provide, but the service itself is very poor. They are not trained well on register and bar because each time something was wrong it was one of 2 things: 1) the drink was rung up wrong, usually it was missing modifications and 2) the drink was made wrong because the instructions on the stickers are not followed. They were very nice when I asked for a remake because my drink was wrong, but even the remake was not what I was looking for. There was never a supervisor keeping the team running the way it should so most of the staff just stood around. Dirty dishes were often reused (specifically the refresher base pitchers) and milks were left out of temp on the counter for long periods of time. I could've just been picky and compared this store to the one I personally work at, but still there's a lot that doesn't sit well with me read more

In regards to location and convenience, great! The size and cleanliness of this Starbucks, was also pretty fantastic. My order was taken, drink made to perfection, bravo Starbucks. However, my review is only 4 stars, not 5 due to the unamused, looked like she hated her job cashier. I definitely got the vibe taking anyone's order was a chore and was not very helpful. Not recommended to go during busy times. I ordered a Sumatra and saw that the receipt showed pikes place. Before the order was ready I told the barista I wanted . He said they will get Sumatra. They didn't I saw the other worker fill the cup with pikes place. The Sumatra machine was empty so I had to wait to get my coffee. Total wait time over 15 minutes. Also their scanner hasn't worked in over 3 weeks. They have to manually enter the app account to pay for my item. I went to redeem my points and they mistakenly charged it to my cash balance. I did say I wanted to redeem points but I didn't want to wait in a busy line for something less important. I'll go to a different Starbucks where things work to redeem them. My new coffee stop will be a mom and pop store in the 5200 block of kings hwy that has better coffee and better deserts. read more

This Starbucks is not part of the Starbucks cooperation so you cannot use your rewards here, very lame. I bought a breakfast sandwich and it didn't count towards the stars I was collecting for a bonus nor could I redeem a free drink. Staff was friendly but my drink was mediocre. Save your money and go to a real Starbucks, especially if you are a Gold member like me. read more

I don't normally like to go to Starbucks because I'm not a fan of their black coffee but it was the only thing around this area that I found. However, this location has the sweetest barista I think I have ever met! Her Name is Maggie and she continued to make every guest feel loved and valued just by how she treated them. Go Maggie! The employees we had did not listen. We asked for chai but all I said was that they had apple cider in that drink and all we ask for chai in it. So all we got was a warm cup of apple cider. But the only reason I'm not giving it at one star is because the eggnog is absolutely delicious. So if you go it's a Gamble to see if you'll get nice employees or not so nice ones. read more

Dissapointed in the time it took for the cashier to get to the register and ask for our order, didn't greet nor acknowledged us, he just kept stocking his inventory. Finally, when came over asked us what we wanted we ordered and sat down to an awkward situation. The rude worker started reminding one of the customers that they weren't allowed in the store. The person, didn't appear to me homeless, but Ocean Blvd is known to have homeless issues, and he wasn't doing anything wrong at least not at the time when we were there. One can tell, when the cashier was reminding him to leave or the police will come you can tell the person got embarrassed. It wasn't necessary, even if he was abrupt the week before, as the cashier said he had tea he purchased from Starbucks. Oh, and the coffee, it was okay, had to keep asking for creme, sugar, cinnamon and chocolate shakers, worker said he had to put them away because they will steal them. read more

I visited this Starbucks recently with my family. It is located across the street from the Caribbean resort on ocean boulevard. This store is so much bigger then others I have been to and have a great variety of mugs and cups. They were actually doing a special if you buy one you get a free latte which I thought was a nice perk. It was very clean and friendly service. They had a little area on one of thier long tables for what their customers are thankful for to fill out, which was very cute and to remind people what the holidays are all about. We ordered some yummy banana bread, a pumpkin scone and a few drinks. I got a Carmel brûlée drink that was suggested by Megan and it was yummy! The rest of the staff were very nice and talkative, there was Joy and a guy there also, they were asking how our day was and if we had any big plans for the night. Overall it was a very good experience and would definitely go again. read more
